I like fairies (thus why I am wearing fairy wings in the picture). Good grammar rocks, too. It doesn't have to be perfect but I get frustrated when people completely disregard it. I like every color except pink. I hate the wind. Sometimes, I carry around a little teddy bear I found at an antique store. His name is Robert. I dress very eccentrically. It's not unusual for me to wear a prairie dress one day and a Mod dress (think Austin powers) the next. I don't dye my hair, or wear much make-up. I think it's sad that no one puts any emphasis on natural beauty anymore. I think it's a good thing to be open and educated about sex and other issues that are considered taboo. I have a hard time seeing where homophobics are coming from.

You could be but the chances are smaller than if he was all the way in and came. I suggest condoms and birth control next time around so that you don't have to wory as much. Wait to see if you get your period and if you're a week late, take a test. The more you stress, the later it will likely be. I doubt that you are pregnant though.

... That being said, you just need to talk to him if you want to get this done quickly. You shouldn't have said you didn't like him if you do. Just say that you like him and you want to know his stance on it. It will make everything a lot easier.

Well, last week, I got into a car accident. It was just me driving.
This guy was drunk, and speeding. He ran a red and smashed in the front of my car. He hit me, and then he ran. His plates were from April of 2004!
The policeman came back, telling me that he didn't catch him, but it is my fault, and they are going to send me a citation in the mail.
Should I go to court? Or just pay off the money..
It's not fair that he hit me.. and then ran, and didn't get punished, but I did. Now, I have to pay 500 dollars to fix my car, ontop of the citation...

I'm 13 and about to audition for a musical. We're supposed to prepare a song and a monologue. I've gone through an array of broadway songs. Finally, I listened to "Wishing You Were Somehow Hear Again" from the Phantom of the Opera. It's beautiful! But before I get the sheet music, I need to know; is it a difficult piece? Vocally demanding? I'm in a very advanced chorus, which means that I can sing a lot, but there's no real way of telling whether this song is too overreaching or not just by listening, you know? If anyone has had any experience with this piece, could I have a few tips?
And PLEASE do not say "go see a vocal teacher/go take a voice lesson/idk lol hope i helped." Even though I'm in an advanced chorus, I can't afford a voice lesson. I know that puts me at a disadvantage, but that's JUST LIFE.

If it's for a musical, I wouldn't suggest something from phantom. Not only does it not quite fit but almost no 13 year olds can successfully pull off phantom because their voices aren't mature enough yet, no matter how advanced- but that's just my opinion. I'd say try something from south pacific, meet me in st. louis, guys and dolls, or maybe even fiddler on the roof. these are really general suggestions since I don't know what musical you are auditioning for, but you can always shoot me a message with more specifics. also, a good website is livejournal.com/audition_help. good luck!

Well...really ask yourself here, is losing your best friend worth it? If you go out with him, especially right after they break up, I'm almost sure that's what would happen. You might be into him now, but wouldn't it suck if after a month you got sick of him and then you not only were without a boyfriend but a best friend? It's a really high price to pay for something that might not last. If they break up and after a really long time you still like each other, then maybe go for it. Otherwise, I'd say don't do it.

sorry this is going to be long.. I need to add details in order to ask my question.
The other night I had my boyfriend over to my house to watch the CMA Awards and I told him ahead of time that we'd be watching it and that it lasts about 3 hours and he said it was fine. I also told him I had waited ALL year to see them because I'm THAT big of a country fan and he knows it. So we watch about 20 min. of it and he says "hey let's see if Texas Chainsaw Massacre is on, it's suppose to be tonight" so he changes it and we just HAVE to watch it.. I looked at him and said "well couldn't you rent it or borrow it from a friend sometime? I've been waiting for the CMA's all year and you can watch this any time." and he starts whining and begging to watch it so I finally just give in and ask if we can flip it back over after and he says yes so after the movie we flip it back and start watching it. About 10 min. later he gets all excited and says "OH MY GOSH SOUTH PARK IS ON!! WE HAVE TO WATCH IT!!!" he's obsessed with South Park so we flip it over and watch it. I wouldn't have been so upset if it were a new episode or something but it was RE RUN... so I said to him "Okay well can we atleast watch Keith Urban since this is a re run?" because Keith Urban is my favorite country singer and he says sure. Well my parents were in the other living room watching it on that TV and I hear Keith Urban start singing and I tell him to flip it and he says "But this is the BEST PART!!" and I tried to get up but he said he wanted me to watch it so I stayed. I started to complain about not being able to watch it and about that time South Park's over and Nip Tuck comes on.. so he's like okay well we can watch it after Nip Tuck.. and I said "Alright well then can we flip it over the the CMA's and watch Kerry Underwood sing?" and he said "Well alright if we have to watch it" but we never flipped the chanel.. and by the time we did it was already over. My parents said it was great and Keith Urban got ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR.. and I missed it because my boyfriend just HAD to watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre, South Park, and Nip Tuck... so my question is.. Was I being too selfish by wanting to watch the CMA Awards instead of his favorite shows?

What an immature little brat! Tell him straight that he was way out of line... I know tv shows aren't a big deal, but I have a feeling he's like this with everything. He needs to stop being so selfish. If he continues with this, you really shouldn't stay with him. He was a guest in your house and he was invited over for a specific purpose of doing something for you, and instead made it all about him. That's just not cool.

I love my mom and all but she really bothers me. I am 13 and I`m kind of mature for my age. My mom said I could get my belly button peirced a yeah ago and she said yeah after I turned 13 and now shes saying no. I turned 13 April 25th and its so unfair I`m getting to really hate her so now she asked " What do you want for Christmas?" and I said. " A new cell phone and a my belly button peirced" and she goes "Your not getting neither your phone is fine."
My phone is a peice of sh1t and falls apart like 5 times a day. And I really want my belly button peirced and she said yeah last year so it`s completely unfair. My little brother gets everything he wants its unfair to me.
How can I convince her to let me get my belly button peirced? And how can I explain that she is unfair to me?

No offense but it's really not the end of the world if you can't have either of these things. If you're mature for your age- then use some introspection and realize that you're being pretty materialistic. You're going to look back on what's happening now in a few years and laugh at yourself for making such a big deal over this. I have friends that would kill to even have a cell phone at all, even if it was one that broke all the time. Trust me, it could be a lot worse. Quit whining and enjoy what you have and the fact that you even have a mother at all.

I'm 17. I've been dating my boyfriend for 4 months now. He's 24, and things couldn't be better. One problem. He's married to another woman. I had NO idea he was married when we got together 4 months ago. Had I known then what I know now, I wouldn't have ever kept up contact with him. So, I know, but he doesn't know I know. And I'm guessing the wife has NO idea about his infedility. I've known this for about two weeks. I taped us "in the act", in case I ever needed proof.
Question is: how should I go about handling this?
Should I bring it up to HIM first?
Should I somehow tell his WIFE? And if you think I should do that, in what form of communication do you think would be best?
Do you think I should just end the relationship suddenly without mentioning it to him, and then stay the hell away, or what?
I would like to know if MY significant other were up to no good. I know it's not so much my business, but I would have trouble living with myself knowing I kept such a drastic secret from a woman who has every right to know. :( (link)

I'm sorry if you are particularly fond of this guy, but the truth is is that he is a scumbag and he deserves to be punished for statutory rape, however close to 18 you are. Even if you don't want that to happen, the least you could do is tell it to his wife. You OWE it to her. If she needs the proof, then give it to her. She needs to know that her husband has been screwing around on her with a minor.

My sister is really depressed lately, and I'm really scared for her. She is pretty okay around me, but everyone else, (even our own mother and best friend) she won't crack a smile!!! I think it might be a 12 year old thing, but I'm a happy person who never really gets like that. I usually understand things, but I don't understand her! Tell me what to do.

I think the first person who answered this is wrong. Just because she's okay around you doesn't mean that the depression is gone, you probably are just good at cheering her up. Even so, she might not be depressed- she could just be going through a weird period in her life where she doesn't feel like smiling a lot. Taking her to get help might work if you feel she needs it, but don't put her on medication. it seems like all of America is on anti-depressants because they had a bad day (instead of actually having a chemical imbalance). Try talking to her and try to find out how she feels. she just might be a typical moody adolescent.

You don't want anything too mushy- that might scare him off. You could give him a picture of you two in a nice frame, or something that has to do with his favorite movie or band. Don't stress out too much about it though- you still have a lot of time!

Having sex is a more apathetic, factual term to use for the act. Making love is typically used by someone who is in love with the person and/or genuinely cares about them. "fucking," on the other hand, tends to be just emotionless, lust-driven, superficially based sex. I hope it is more clear now!

Well, if you're not nervous and totally comfortable with your body, in some ways you might be ready. It isn't completely usual for someone your age, but it doesn't make you a dirty or bad person. If I were you, I'd just wait for a little bit until you find someone who you really care about, and then it will be that much better because you let it wait. Besides, there are a lot of consequences to having sex that you don't need to deal with right now, especially in middle school. I really don't want to sound like a typical preachy person here, but it's just really not necessary to have sex yet. Your parents will probably tell you the same thing and likely don't want you having sex. It's not worth the drama. Really.

You really can't tell unless you're close to your period with most tests, so you're probably just going to have to wait until you either get it or can take the test and get accurate results. Sorry!
