You can ask me about ANYTHING, and I mean it. If I don't have an answer to give you, instead of making something up, I WILL find you somewhere to go where you will be able to find out what you need. My inbox is always open, and you are quite welcome to IM me on AIM. I think thats about all you need to know, but if you've got other questions...well...see above. =)

We are moving this summer and my parents told me I could get a dog. I want a small dog that I can carry around with me everywhere. I've thought about getting a bichon frise for quite some time, but I found out that they can get fairly big sometimes. Any ideas on some small, full bred dogs I could get? And some of the positives and negatives about them?

Getting a dog is great.

Getting a dog as a fashion accessory, however, is cruel.

Dogs don't want to be carried around all day and dressed up in clothes. They're an ANIMAL. A living, breathing, animal, unlike your purse or your hat.

Small dogs are prone to back problems. Fact. Veteranarians advise that small dogs not be picked up often, as it is stress on their back.

If you want a dog, fine. Get one, they're great companions. But as I said before THEY ARE ::NOT:: FASHION ACCESSORIES.

Okay, so my older half sister and brother have planned this trip to Florida, 5 days in Disney World!!! I was really excited...until I found out two things...

1. My sister and brother might be bringing their side of the fmaily that I've never even met. Which includes parents and kids. (I do NOT like kids) I'll just feel like a blacksheep.
2. PANIC! AT THE DISCO is playing the SAME DAY I'll be GONE!! (San Diego, August 1st)

My mom has allowed me to choose whether or not to go. Should I stay and experience an awesome Panic! concert or spend 5 days in Disney World with people I don't really know????

I don't want any regrets...

P!ATD's live shows are crap. Now, I'm not a fan of them myself, but my friends are rabid about them, and they said that their live show is majorly dissapointing.

Disney World is amazing, though. Pick that one.

i became being belimic a little bit ago because im starting to dislike my eating habits. dont worry im probably going to eat reguarly soon. i havent researched it that much but i was wondering how throwing up is bad for you? i mean, the food goes down in your stomach and takes nutrients out of the food but all it does is make the rest come up again. whats wrong with that? the excess food exit the body later anyway. just in a different way.

Being bulimic is extremely hazardous to your health. While yes, the food does enter your stomach, it is only for a short period of time and the food is not processed. Very little nutrients are taken to your bloodstream from your stomach, most of that occurs in the small intestine, and that takes up to 4 hours after you have actually swallowed the food.

Also, when you throw up, acids and enzymes from your stomach also come up, not just food. These liquids are meant to stay in your stomach, and your esophogus is not equipped to handle the strong acids. After only a few purges, the lining of your esophagus is already beginning to get eroded away and get ulcers and other lacerations.

In extreme cases, prolonged purging can actually cause a hole in the esophogus, which requires painful surgery and a feeding tube while the esophogus is repaired.

The acids in your stomach also cause erosion to your teeth and can very quickly turn them yellow and more cavity prone.

Purging can also cause painful ulcers in your stomach that will make it even more difficult to eat later.

After even as little time as a week of being bulimic, your body can become accustomed to your eating habits. When you decide that it is time to stop, or are forced to stop, your body will still automatically contract the muscles of your digestive system, causing you to involuntarily throw up.

Bulimia, as well as all other eating disorders CAN KILL YOU. Please seek help for your disorder. You will quickly learn that there are other, safer, more effective ways to lose weight if you are unhappy with your weight, and it will keep you healthy and at the weight you need to be. (Eating healthy and exersize.)

Ok.I know that you have to be certain ages to get jobs. But what is the YOUNGEST age that you can get a job and what is the job?? Please help!Thank you!

I know that here in Missouri, at 14 you can get a Workers Permit -- but you are not allowed to handle other people's money. Most places will also not allow you to cook food. At 15, more jobs such as Retail are availible, but you can get a job such as ice cream stands and fast food pretty easy at 15. At 16, most any job opens up to you that doesn't need College education.

Okay so like I have been with my boyfriend almost 5 months now. I love him so much and He loves me too. We get along great when its just me and him but like we argue alot at school, because he gets jealous easy. What should I do to stop us from arguing so much?

Talk to him and tell him how you feel. Ask him if there's a reason that he gets jealous so easily. Is he worried that you may go do something with another guy? Has a previous girlfriend of his cheated on him? Tell him that you dislike arguing, especially when you cannot clearly see the causes of his jealousy.

Okay, there's a dance coming up. Since it's the end of the school year, and I've liked this one guy for a while, and I was planning on (possibly) telling him that I like him then. My dilemma? He might not be going! What should I do?

If you tell him that you like him and would like to go with him and he thinks that he'd have fun with you, he may change his mind and decide to go to the dance with you. Its worth a shot! Even if he doesn't like you back or still doesn't want to go to the dance, at least your feelings are out and he knows. And who knows, he might just like you back and is too shy to say anything to you!

i have i red dot on my nose ive has for a few years. The doctor said its some type of mole i guess. My parents want me to get laser sergery. The dot is only less than 1/4 inch. Does laser surgery hurt more than a shot? They say they'll put numbing cream on it, but that never helps completely.

My friend has one of those! We named it Freddy. /tangent.

Laser surgery will feel like a harsh sunburn the day after. But other than that, its not too much of a pain.

Anyone out there know a good guitar out there. I really only want to spend $500 at the most. I'll rate.

Everybody is going to reccomend Fender to you, and I bet its just because Fender has advertisements EVERYWHERE.

While they're good guitars, I'm going to offer you some alternatives.

Gibson is a very nice brand, but thier guitars are usually very expensive. Epiphone makes Gibson copies of guitars -- and Gibson endorses them.

I have an Austin brand guitar, two infact, and they've proven to be very nice guitars. My electric one is a copy of a Gibson SG. It sounds the same, but plays easier for me. I'm a tiny person, and the Austin brand is lighter -- Gibsons are hefty guitars. The only difference in looks is that it has dot inlays and the pick guard is only on one side of the strings.

I recommend Austin, it will well fit into your budget. You can check them out at austingtrs.com

Hey I was wondering if anyone could recommend some glossy, chocolatey brown semi- permanent hair colours that condition your hair aswell as colour it. Price doesn't matter but the cheaper the better.

thanx ;-) luv r xxx

If you can find it in the shades you're looking for, L'Oreal Color Pulse is my favorite Semi-permanent dye. It doesn't bleed, and its a really nice deep-conditioner that keeps your hair dyed for about 8 washes, but with the redder shades, your hair will sometimes stay tinted for a while.

Do remember, though, you can't lift color with color, so in other words, if you're darker than the shade you're going for, its not going to work.

If I run on my treadmill which of my muscle groups am I working out, on what part of my body?

You're not really working muscles very much, maybe your calves and thighs and minimally your abs for stabilization. Running is a cardio exersise, so you are mainly exersising your cardiovascular system and upping your metabolism.

ok i have a 9 inch tall mohawk and im wondering the best way to fan the hawk like to where it will wash out i want a fan like the members of the casualties like i know how to do liberty spikes but idk how to fan my hawlk when its this big

Put up small pieces at a time, and use both hands to smooth it straight. Don't use a lot of gel, it will weigh it down -- use a small amount of gel and use a bit of hair wax and as soon as you've got it straight or about straight, spray it with hairspray. (Aerosol is best.)

Okay, so there is a ton of negative input in the media of what Straight Edge really means.

I'm not exact, but I'm sure there is a ton of people on this site who hasn't really fully understood what it really is.

I was wondering if I could get peoples views on what they think Straight Edge is?

BellaDonna pretty much hit the nail on the head. But the simplified version and TRUE version is that to call yourself straightedge, you don't drink (EVER. Not just when you're underaged.) You don't smoke (again, not just when you're underaged, you don't smoke ever. This one seems to have the most debate - some people who smoke Cigarettes still consider themselves straight edged, even though that isn't the true definition that was brought around in the 70's.) and you don't have pre-marital sex.

Ok, So I am 13 years old and since May 2005, I have found myself madly in love with no other than a 20 year old McDonalds worker. He has started to open up a little more in the past couple of months, and he gives me lots of hugs, flirts, and shows all the "signs" of love back. Yet he has never told me. This week we are supposed to go to the movies. My question is, Should I open up and tell him I love him or should I just wait until he does?

You don't love him. You're only 13, you don't know what love is. There is a SEVEN year age difference between you and this man, trust me, you don't love him, and if he "loves" you back, chances are he's a pedofile. You cannot date him, its ILLEGAL. Hate to break it to you, but all this is true. Sometimes you have to face the facts that you don't want to hear.

I know this guy who's a workaholic. He's confident, witty and articulate.

Although i hardly know him, i seem to be having a huge crush on him. I caught him staring at me.

I find him extremely shy, which is strange since he 's so good at his work.

What should i say to him when i call him?
I dunno what to say becos i think he probably knows i have a crush on him and he was sooo shy about it.

I'd really like to help answer your question, especially since it was sent directly to my inbox and I presume that you think I am capable of giving you a good answer.

You've failed to give me some important details that will help me to better answer your question.

Where do you work? Like, what kind of work is it?

How old are you guys?

Is this a high-school job at an ice cream shoppe or something different?

If you write me another question with that information included, I will do my best to help you out. ;)

i have a teal green metallic stratocaster with a white pickguard. here is the fender color chart so you can see what color the guitar is:
http://fender.com/resources/colors/
mine is number 45.
i'm looking to change the pickguard, and i'm leaning toward a white pearloid pickguard. do you think that this will look stupid? do you have any suggestions on a different pickguard?

It wouldn't look *bad* but I think its bordering on the edge of tacky. If I were you, I'd go with a metallic grey toned pickguard. Thats just a personal preference, I always thought tealish colors with the pearloid picguards looked terrible, the only place that belongs is the fret inlays.

I am glad these kids have a place to go where they may get some logical advice about sex (and some bad advice too which is sad)

I am just wondering how many of you "adults" think that too many are having sex too early? To me, they know very little about the consequences--most questions are asked after the fact. Perhaps this shows that sex education is not done early enough and it is not effective enough. What do you think?

I'm not an adult, but the number of questions here written by 12 year olds asking if they could be pregnant after having unprotected sex alarm me. Way too many kids are having sex way to early these days. No matter what grade sex education is taught, its never something that people take into account before having sex. I think many just get caught up in the moment and don't realize that sex is a big step, its not just maybe kissing.

Okay, part of this question has to do with friendship. So, I've been liking this guy for awhile and his cousin knows that I like him. The thing is that now he's got a girlfriend (who goes to a different school than us), and me liking him is causing one of my friends to get into trouble (long story), and it's also causing drama. I don't know what to do, I want to stop liking him for her, but yeah. So what should I do? Oh yeah, if you want to know our ages I'll be 15 in 2 weeks, and he'll be 16 in like 3.

This way this question is written is kind of confusing me. But what I got out of it is that you want to stop liking a guy because he has a girlfriend.

And you can't stop liking him, because thats just human nature. Unless you or he change, there's really no incentive for you to stop liking him.

That being said, there's also no harm in liking him, as long as you don't take action on that - such as trying to get him to cheat on his girlfriend or anything.

If its "causing drama" Tell whoever needs to be told that you don't like him anymore, and you can keep that thought to yourself.

i've never really been like, close with my mom. like we're not really friends. but umm i just got my period and ummmmm i know i have to like tell her sometime! but i don't know how because it would be soo embaressing. should i just tell her or like...? idk!

Every girl has a period, so its really not as big of a deal that you're making it out to be. Just tell her "Oh yeah, Mom, I started my period the other day" No big deal. She probably won't have anything to say about it except for "Okay" or "Congratulations!"
