I've been told I have a really odd taste in music. I'm just curios {sorry, I can't spell}, what kind of music do I like if I listen to: Fuel, Matchbox 20, Our Lady Peace, Weezer, Verical Horizions, Switchfoot, Poe, Savage Garden, Incubus, and Foo Fighters. But I like their old stuff the best, their new stuff sucks!

Ok, skip the whole. "oh my god, you are so stupid for breaking his heart" stuff. I just need help, I know what I did was wrong.

Ok, first off. I'm trying to get my ex back. I dumped him for another guy, who turned out to be an ass, and i realized what i did was wrong. i miss him a lot and i would do anything to have him back. I have talked to him about this before and he said it was not going to work out. since then we have been good friends, but now im starting to like him again, and he knows. he told me to call him on december 23rd when he gets new minutes on his phone so we can talk about it and i can tell him why i want him back so badly. he is afraid to get back together because he doesn't want me to break his heart again, and i swore on my life i wouldnt. because i won't. i just really miss him and like i dont know if he wants me back or not. im not afraid to call him, just afraid that its going to be a blunt "NO" answer. but why would he make me wait that long for a simple "NO"?

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. thank you! i give 5s if anyone helps me.

well, if he wants you to call him and talk to him about it then he obviously is not going to give you a blunt no answer. he probably does still like you and even though your scared to call him you have to because if you don't then he will think you didn't mean it and will make things even worse with him. When you do call him, make you sure you tell him how much you like him and why. Also, be sure to tell him that you made a huge mistake in leaving him and that you wish you never had. well, i hope this helps you.

We used to have more money, but ever since my dad got hurt- we don't have much money. I know my parents are trying to hide it from me and my older brother. But, it's obvious. They barely had enough money to buy christmas presents and food this month. If you offer them money, they turn it down. Any ideas on how I can help? My parents each work 2 jobs.

If youa nd your brother can, get your own jobs so you can buy all the stuff you need or want with your own money. This will take a lot of stress of your parents. You could also help out around the house whenever you have the chance.

ok, so just yesterday, 2 of my friends got in this big fight over something really stupid, & they said things that didnt need to be said or brought up, & didnt have anything to do with what they were fighting about in the first place!! & then one of the brought me into it, & got one of my friends to think that I talked crap about her, when I really dont!! I mean, they are both my friends, & I dont want them to not be friends because of this, because then I would have to choose. & one of my friends dropped the whole thing, as did I, but my other friend is still mad @ her. I mean, i can see why, but i just want her to drop it!! how can I convince her that its all over?!? please help..

well, just tell your friend that you aren't comfortable with her talking about your other friend to you and tell her that its over and its not a big deal and just ask her to talk to your other friend and maybe she'll get over it.

I think he may be flirting with you because he still likes you. Just flirt back with him a lot and send him the message that you do still like him. He may figure it out and ask you out.

Ok, so I kinda like this guy, and he's one of my friends. We aren't that close, but I talk to him when he's around (I couldn't just walk up and start talking to him, but that might be because I'm a bit anti-social). He asked me for my phone number once, but I didn't give it to him becuase I had absolutely no idea why he wanted it; I was in denial that he might have liked me. When he asked that, I did like him then, but I was a little paraniod, and somehow we dropped the subject. I probably gave him the wrong impression. I feel really stupid, and now we don't talk as much as we used to. Is there any way to fix this? Or should I just move on? (Please don't tell me that I'm stupid for doing this, I already am well aware of that)(He's also been dating a few people, which doesn't make me jealous, but I thought I should include that.)

You should start talking to him more often. Even if you are anti-social, just try to work past that and just walk up to him some time and talk to him. You not doing this may be sending him the message that you don't like him that much. Also, if ya'll get to talking enough, ask him for his phone number so ya'll can chat outside of school sometime and get together.

Okay I like this guy well actually I cant really say that I like him because to like someone is to know them and I dont really know him I just want to get to know him so than maybe something will happen between us. I'm a freshman and he's a senior in high school. He knows that I so-called like him because my friend was telling him that someone likes him and than he just found out its me. My friend told me that he always ready has someone in mind because there are tons of girls that like him. I just found out that its one of my friend's older brothers. This guy is in my gym class and I always see him around school. I want to get to know him but im not sure how to. I'm a really shy person and I'm scared to just walk to up to him to talk to him. We only have gym together so its kinda strange if I just start talking to him at gym for no reason. Should I get to know his sister? I mean I really want to be her friend too so its not like I'm just using her to get to him. How can I start talking to him at gym? Sorry this is so long! Please help and thank you!

Well, I definitely think you should get to know the sister just because he may like you more if he knows that his sister knows and thinks your cool. Also, I know you are shy.. so am I, but I find that guys like it a lot more if you start talking to them. They will talk back and that is the easiest way to get to know them. My suggestion is to just kinda walk up to him and introduce yourself. Just say hey and tell him your name, he will most likely start talking to you. After that, you can always say hi to him in the halls whenever you see him.

I'm 13/f and have a nagging problem. My friend and I have another friend thats really starting to bug us. She feels left out so eaisly, and she has to know EVERYTHING. Like, if I was talking to someone and she just walked up, she would have to know what we are talking about. Also, my friend and I feel like we can never hang out with ought her getting mad. What do I do?

Try talking to her about it. Maybe try to find out why she feels the need to know everything that you are doing. Also, try to find her another friend. Introduce her to some ppl you know and maybe she will make new friends and not feel the need to hang around you and your friend so much. As for her getting mad at you and your friend if ya'll hang out without her, that's just plain stupid. I wouldn't worry about it too much, like I said just try to introduce her to some new ppl and she may start to leave you alone and become less dependant on you.

Well, i used to think i was popular, not really populer, like the snobby kind, but i had a lot of friends. Now, i feel like i have very few, and most of them get on my nerves alot and they get annoying really fast, and bug me ALOT, and i get mad at them alot too. When i make new friends, i start to like them better, cuz they dont seem as annoying, you know? Even my good friends make me want to scream at them because they seem so stupid, or just dont get it. wat should i do?

Well, if your new friends don't make you feel so annoyed, they are probably better friends, so leave your old friends. Tell them you need some time to think things over, and go hang out with your new friends. If things change for you and you become happier, then stick with your new friends and forget about your old ones, in time they will forget about you too.

I have this one really good friend, and let's call her Jane. Jane and I met last year, when I came to her school for a gifted program. Jane and I became kinda friends, but I made a best friend that I'll call Kristen. It's a year later, and now were all good friends. But on the bus the other day, this girl I'll call Sam bad mouthed my friend. I asked Kristen if she liked Jane, and she said no not really. Jane is a really good friend of mine but I don't know what to do?

well, its really not up to you to fix your other friends' relationship. But if you really want to then... Talk to "kristen" about it and found out why she doesn't like "Jane". If you know why,then you might be able to take some step from there to try and fix things.

well, I think you should flirt back. It's a competiton. But, don't take it too far casue no girl(or guy!!!) if worth fighting over with a friend. Because friends are there for you forever, gf/bf will just leave you. While flriting with her, look for signs and see if she flirts back. If so, then yes, ask her out. But, you might want to make sure its okay with your friend first, because he might like her and it could start a problem. I'm not saying that you shouldn't go out with her if he likes her, its his problem if he gets jealous. Just, let him know, because at least he will have a warning and maybe won't get as mad. I have three really close friends, Taylor, Sarah, and Alyssa. We're all completely different but we get along really well.

So now here's my question, Alyssa's going out with this guy, Micheal. And Taylor and I don't like him at all, infact we hate him. He lives in a differnt city now, but when he did live out here he went out with two of my other friends... and cheated on both of them. Alyssa looks past this because she's been in love with him for almost a year. He never really showed interest in her until a month ago when he was horny and she was willing.

Then Julia his latest ex and Alyssa's good friend found out and got mad at both of them. Because Alyssa didn't ask if it was ok to be with him, even though he and Alyssa didn't actually go out just do... stuff... Then after all the fights, Micheal has the nerve to actually ask her out. And Julia get's pissed again because she warned Aly about him.

But then the cherry on top was that Alyssa bring's him to Sarah's birthday, uninivted, of course Taylor and I make him feel so akward he leaves. Then Alyssa lies and leaves halfway through the party saying she has to go home. To hang out with him, and when we find out and call her, she lies about where she is and who she's with saying she's christmas shopping.

What should I do she doesn't listen and he's an ass. Who's already cheated on her once and they've only been going out for about two weeks.
And she's a virgin and he's reeeeeally horny!!!!!

Wow, well first off if she doesn't know about him cheating on her find a way to help her find out. That might change her mind real fast. I really don't know what else to tell ya, jsut give her some space for awhile, I'm sure the time will come when he will dump her or she will find out about him cheating on her...agian.

Ok, so whenever my best friend has another friend over she won't talk to me (I mean like online). Your probably thinking "ummm, it's rude to talk to you while a friend is there." But she talks to other people! I know this because if I IM her on the bottom it will say (their screenname) is typing. Then she just stops typing when she realizes it's from me and immedatly puts up her away message. Then someone will ask me if I know why she went away without saying anything. My question is how should I confront her? Do you think she is hiding something from me? Thank you.

I definately think she is hiding something from. The problem is that you wouldn't be able to find out unless she wanted you to know. Just pull her aside sometime and try to find out. Just tell her how you feel and see if she'll open up to you. If she won't then she probably doesn't want to be your friend and you should jsut hang with your other friends and get new ones.

You might. But you really shouldn't cut down on the amount of food your taking in. Your body needs the energy it gets from food to be able to work out(healthily), So just eat the same amount, but cut down on the carbs, sugar, and fat intake.

my family is very religious. so when they found out that i had sex with my ex boyfriend a while back they went crazy. i promised that i wouldnt do it again, but now that i am seeing someone else it's getting harder and harder to say no. i'm only 17, i know thats young, but should i wait until i am married for my family? or should i just give in for myself?

Hun, if you would be waiting for just your family, then your morales/values are a little out of whack! I'm sorry if you think I'm being mean, beut its true. Sex is supposed to be something saved for marriage, its supposed to be between a husband and wife. It's very wrong to do it beforehand, ezpecially with all the risks. You could get an STD, or get pregnant. You may be thinking you can just use protection or take the pills, but there is no such thing as safe sex. Well, its really up to you. The right thing to do would be to wait, but it all comes down to what you think and want in the end.

Ok..this may be long..I go to school (I'm in 8th grade) like everyone else and I hang out w/ my little group consisting of 6 people including myself. Well, one of the girls is completley attatched to me even though she is annoying and I don't want to be her friend. Well she invites herself over and does w/e she pleases and my mom does not like her or her family at all! Well how do I turn her down in a nice way and move away slowly? (that's just my first problem) Then there is another girl that I absolutley adore! We are just getting close b/c my first friend talks bad about her constanly I never wanted to be friends with her...well anyway I want to be her friend and be close with her but not the immature childish one...any suggestions on how to solve this? For the annoying one: Just say that you feel like yall are growing apart and ya'll need to spend some time apart for awhile to sort things out. Maybe if she starts to spend time with other people she will foret about bugging you. Also, you can tell her that you don't like that she back talks that other girl and tell her that you don't want to ne friends with someone who talks trash about others.

As for the adorable one: Keep getting closer to her. She could become one of your really good friends you never know.

Ok, i like this guy, let's call him Jim. I flirt with him CONSTENTLY and i think he likes me too. But then i was talking to his friend and he said that Jim raped someone. I didn't believe him at first and i askeD Jim about it. First he said "i'd never do that!". So i got his friend to come over and he said "Yea you did, remember? On my couch last summer?" He might just be teasing you. But if not, then you really ought to tell the police or something, ecase that's serious and he coudl do it someone else too, including you. There's nothing you can do about liking him, you can't control liking someone. It's your feelings and it just happens. The only thing you can do is try to move on and forget about him and maybe look for some one new to take your interests.

Theres this guy. and hes my close friend and he tells me he likes me and thinks about me alot and loves my eyes.Then he goes out with my friend. But he apologized to me 7347 times and said hes goin out with her for the wrong reasons and that when we were with her the one time that all he could think was me and how he hurt me. That has happened to me before too, that exact thing.What I finally realized is that he didn't really like me. So I just moved on. I know it sounds hard honey, but my friends helped me through it. I hope things work out for the best.
