Me and my sister are pretty close. She tells me everything, I tell her everything. I'm 15 and she's 17 almost 18. My sister had a boyfriend for almost 3 years. He's completly rude. I never liked him one bit. He pushed my sister into a chair AT OUR HOUSE and she started crying and he ran off. Like..left our house. He always cussed at her and they almost argued everyday. They broke up 11 months ago. Once they broke up, he got another girlfriend , and my sister went balistic on him and he threatened to call the police on her. Again, that was 11 months ago..And they haven't spoken since..

My sister met this one guy who is gorgeous. He's really sweet and i think he's good for her. They've been "talking". I like him and i think she deserves a guy like this.

Two days ago, my sister went to a party and saw her ex there. Near the end of the party, he pulled her over and started asking how she was and all that. When she told me this i got soo mad. She practically said "I hate the way i'm always running to him!"

I don't want her running back to him. Chasing him and then having him make her feel like crap. I think that the new guy that she met is good for her. She realizes it. But after her ex through a couple of pretty words to her, she's wanting to hang out with him. I know i should let my sister do whatever she wants, its her life not mine. But i don't want my sister ending up hurt or anything! I really want her to realize that if she goes back to him, she'll get hurt again. What can i say to her to make her realize that he isn't good for her? Please help me. My family doesn't like him and neither do I. At first, my sister thought he was crap for her, but after she talked to him, she thinks they are going to go out. Please help me.

Just talk to her and remind her about all the times he cussed at her and made her feel like crap. Then, ask her how many times this new guy has done this to her... make her answer. She just needs to know that this guy won't change, he treated her like crap before and will continue to do that. the only reason he's sweet talking her is because he knows he can get her back and he obviously just wants some stuff from her. You have every right to interfere in her life about this, cause this choice will drastically effect her and all that will happen is that she will get hurt. Make sure she understands this and tell her how much you like this new guy she's found. Point out all his good qualities and talk about how much nicer he is.

I am a once athiest who has now become agnostic and what I want to know is :
Why do you or why do you not believe in god?
Why should he/she/it be praised?
Why should I believe or not believe in god?

Well, for all atheists or once atheists or whatever, if there is no god then how did we get here. I know ya'll believe in evolution, but if there was such a thing then how come it isn't still happening today. Did it just randomly stop? i think its really stupid how someone could belive in evolution, if there were such a thing it woudl still be going on today and we wouldn't need to reproduce.

Hi There,

I am a English male of Part Jewish non orthodox & Part COE (Church Of England) Blood, and am in love with a Muslim girl from Saudi Arabia. Even thou she isn't in an arranged marriage & her parents have given their blessing to a marriage of her choice providing the groom is an Arab or Muslim, I understand that the only way I would be allowed to Marry this girl is either me turning to Islam or by Mahr, as I am non religous I am very confused on what to do. I am deeply in love with this girl & want to provide her with the love she deserves.

Any advice you can give would be surley appreactied.

there is this one girl danielle i cant stop thinking about we used to be friends and went out but we broke up then we stoped hanging out for a while but then some guy hit her and i relized how much i still liked her so i went and beat him up pretty bad (concussion hospital) but that led to some consequences like got arrested suspended broken knuckle suspension from school lawsuit but i liked her in such i way i didnt care what happened and then we were real close for a while but one day she stoped talking to me and ignored me pretty much and i thought i was over her but then the other night i had a dream about her that made me relize i still had feelings for her i dont know what i should do i cant stop thinking about her

call her up and talk to her about it. Also tell her how you feel about her and make sure she understands how much you care for her. If she doesn't want to go out with you, then ask her if ya'll can be friends. if ya'll are friends again she may grow to like you as more than that in time.

What do people mean when they say "opposites attract"? Is this statement true?

i dont' think it is true. if your polar oppostites with someone then ya'll will never get along. However, if ya'll like the exact same things and have the same interests.. then that gets boring. It needs to be somewhere in between.

my dad is always really impatient and sometimes he hurts me but i dont know if it would be considered abusing me. the worst time was when he shoved me up the stairs and started smacking me screaming at me and then shoved me into my room and i hit the door..it was horrible. other times he squeezes my arm or twists it so i listen to him. so would this be considered abuse or not? if it is should i do something about it? thanks, i rate high!!!

its not abuse, your dad just takes out all your anger on you. My dad the same thing, but i hit him back so he stoppes. If he continues to do it hit him back, that will let him know that you wont take it anymore. At first, he might hit you harder or whatever, but if you keep up with it and keeping fighting back then he will eventually stop.

hey i really like this one guy and when it comes to talking to him and hugging him, i turn red and i get nervous. he asked me last week online who i like and i said him and he said " like me enough to kiss me?" and i said yeah. and he has been bugging me about it in school ever since. i am too scared to because i dont know if he likes me back. his best friend is saying he has mixed feelings for me. i really want to kiss him, but i always back out. is there anyway i can with out backing out?

i had the same problem. But i liked the guy a lot and just gave in. You might as well just jump in and do it and then after that you should be able to figure out wether or not he likes you.

hey i'm a guy. this girl i know is starting to scare me. we used to talk about everything and always have a blast, but a few months ago we started to talk less. i noticed she wasn't as active as she was before, and asked her about it. just as it seemed to be, she told me she was depressed and didn't like the kind of life she was living. she went on about all the bad things in her life with family, school, friends, herself, etc. i tried to point out good things to her, but she always came back at me with something to disprove it. after not talking for a week or so, she said she just wanted to end her life and to get away from everything. i didn't take this too serious at first, but lately she hasn't been eating, barely talks, and hasn't been looking too healthy. if she is thinking about suicide, what should i do? i asked her about it and she didn't want to talk. should i tell her parents? please help

She is thinking about suicide. I know because i was her a couple of months ago. Just be there for her and let her know you care for her. Try to take her out to do fun things with you like the movies or hanging out at the mall. My friends did this for me and that was the biggest thing that helped me get through my depression period. I wouldn't tell her parents unless you arent't getting through to her.At least try to help her before you tell her parents because that will just make it worse. So save that as a last resort.

he obviously likes you. If he's gonna put his arms around your waist when you hug... then he definitely likes you. Tell him that you like him and see where it all goes from there.

just straight up tell him that you want to hang out with him. I suggest inviting a bunch of your friends to the mall and then tell him about it and ask him to bring his friends. That way he may be more comfortable about the whole thing.

if you don't like it then just act like you do so you don't hurt his feelings. At least he thought of you and got you something... just be thankful for that if you don't like the gift because some guys don't remember to do stuff like that for their girlfriends



well.. if your a horrible liar then that kinda sux. Just try to imagine that you got something else if you don't like what he gets you. And if he feels bad then just tell him that its the thought that counts and your thankful for him and you don't need a gift to feel that and stuff like that. I think he'll get over it.

ok i have diabtes (type 1, im not overweight or anything) and im a little shy about it well i mean i dont like telling ppl about it. only my close friends know about it and some other people who i didnt want to find out about having it. my friends think that its stupid that i dont tell people and they say if they had it they would have no problem telling ppl. but they dont have it so they dont know. its easier to say then do. are they right, should i not be so shy about it?
btw i have had it for about 2 years

one of my best friends is diabetic and some of my family too. It is nothing to be ashamed of or embarassed about. But if you don't feel comfortable telling people then don't. You shouldn't be forced to talk about something you don't feel comfortable talking about. But you really don't have to be so uncomfortable with having it, many people do and it doesn't change who you are.

For now, don't tell him. Just be friends with him. If he does break up with his girlfriend, then i would tell him how you feel. If his girlfriend is getting mad at him for hanging out with you, then he does like you and she knows it. But, like i said, for now just be friends with him and have fun.

kissing is just using the lips. When you make out with someone it is more intimate and you use your tongue. it also leeds to more intimate things like feeling each other up and sometimes more.

I'm married, and my husband and I rent a house from my parents. I'm 20, and my husband is 21. They've been pretty generous by offering us the house over other renters, and giving us a lower rent. They insist of holding a copy of the house key for emergencies, which is fine with me.

Here's the problem. Lately, they've been letting themselves in without knocking. After my husband and I come home from work and put the baby in bed, we tend to sit around...not completely clothed. More than once now, they've caught us like this; once just walking around naked and twice being intimate.

But maybe worse, they let themselves in when we're not home. I don't think they mean any harm, but they come in, look around, borrow our stuff, and clean.

I'm afraid that they'll find something they don't like and kick us out. I feel that we're adults, and we pay rent, so we deserve some privacy. Am I right that we should have privacy? If so, how should I go about talking to my parents? I don't want to make them feel bad, since I think they're just trying to help.

Well, explain to them that your not comfortable with them just going in the house with out knocking or asking first. Let them know that ya'll are adults and need your privacy. Tell them that they want to be alone with each other just like you want to be alone with your husband.

he does like you and he probably is flirting with other girls like your friend to make you jealous, that's a guys way of finding out if he l;ikes the girl and if she likes him. he's just playing the field in case you don'yt like him that way he has back up.

My boyfriend who I truly love just broke up with me. It was because I told this one guy I was going to break up with my boyfriend but soon I realized how much I loved my boyfriend. show him how much you love him. And tell him all the time. Talk to him about why he doesn't believe you and keep trying. Eventually he should come to realize how much you care about him. if not, then you have to move on... not neccessarily get another boyfriend but just give him his space if he won't listen to you and try to be his friend.
