Nothing really! Just making out is used more for using your tongue and kissing is more for like just kissing on the lips without tongue.. But really they aren`t different cuz when people make out sometimes they call it kissing also.. ♥ Dez

Kissing, you just sit there, and making out, you get all into it, you start using your hands, they might go up the shirt or down the pants just depends. So, yeah thats the difference.

kissing is just using the lips. When you make out with someone it is more intimate and you use your tongue. it also leeds to more intimate things like feeling each other up and sometimes more.

Making out is like using tongue. & Kissing is just like peck on the lips. :)

Kissing is just your lips touching, while making out is more intimate. Making out is basically french kissing for a long time, which means 'tongue action' lol.
