what should I do about this guy?

Question Posted Friday November 4 2005, 11:31 pm

Okay I like this guy well actually I cant really say that I like him because to like someone is to know them and I dont really know him I just want to get to know him so than maybe something will happen between us. I'm a freshman and he's a senior in high school. He knows that I so-called like him because my friend was telling him that someone likes him and than he just found out its me. My friend told me that he always ready has someone in mind because there are tons of girls that like him. I just found out that its one of my friend's older brothers. This guy is in my gym class and I always see him around school. I want to get to know him but im not sure how to. I'm a really shy person and I'm scared to just walk to up to him to talk to him. We only have gym together so its kinda strange if I just start talking to him at gym for no reason. Should I get to know his sister? I mean I really want to be her friend too so its not like I'm just using her to get to him. How can I start talking to him at gym? Sorry this is so long! Please help and thank you!

ok, well you never want to use someone for your benefit. Im sure this guy likes you too. All you need to do is randomly complement him on his good hit, or nice serve, or some other stuff like that. always be sweet and generous. dont give up!
im glad i can help!

Well, I definitely think you should get to know the sister just because he may like you more if he knows that his sister knows and thinks your cool. Also, I know you are shy.. so am I, but I find that guys like it a lot more if you start talking to them. They will talk back and that is the easiest way to get to know them. My suggestion is to just kinda walk up to him and introduce yourself. Just say hey and tell him your name, he will most likely start talking to you. After that, you can always say hi to him in the halls whenever you see him.

start flirting with him. i know you said you were a shy person but... just pretend like you are talking to a guy friend... but just flirt with him... compliment him on his hair or something. or ask him to help you with something in gym then maybe start up a conversation. ask him how his day is going, or whatever you wanna say.
gooood luck!!!!
