well there is this guy who is so perfect for me and is really one of those special guys. hes not like the other stupid guys and hes the type of guy your lucky to find and need to hang on to. he and i are so good for each other! but he lives in dallas while i like in kansas city! (while he was visitng my good friend we hung out a couple times and exchanged numbers) he and i really like each other but we obviously cant date because he live so far away from each other. we cant do long distance and there is no other options. what should i do?? how do i accept this? and how do i keep my heart from hurting. it hurts to like him but know nothing will ever come of it. he has actually talked about when we are in college but come on i know that wont happen and even if it did thats in FOREVER!! im a sophomore and hes a junior.. please help me because i dont know how to deal with this. i really like him..

Who say long distance relationships don't work? I was apart from my husband for 7 months while he was in Iraq. I know it's not quite the same as your situation, but it is proof that long distance relationships CAN work. Does it suck? YES...BUT it can & does work ALL the time. If your in a long distance relationship with him, there is plenty of other ways to show your love for each other while your apart and a added bonus is if you can make this work, then the time will fly by until yall can be in college together. If your totally against a long distance relationship then there really is nothing you can do to speed up the broken heart process. I wish there was, but sadly the hearts gonna miss & want him for however long it takes. You could try taking up new activities, hang out with your friends more, do something that interest you..if your just wanting to take your mind off of him. Best of Luck to you

My computer is out of it's mind! I know nothing about computers, but it's a dell. About a week ago, out of NOWHERE, it decided it would stop working. It turns on normally, but then goes to a black page where it says "we apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this..etc.." It either freezes on that page, or shuts itself down, then restarts, and does the same thing over and over and OVER. It's driving me insane. What have I done to it? What could be the problem??

My computer did the exact same thing! As weird as it may sound, when it was in the process of loading up that dreadful black screen I just kept hitting F1 then if nothing happened I'd restart the computer again and keep hitting F2 and so on and so forth. Finally, for my computer, the lucky number was F7 and it pulled up a different window to reinstall Windows and it's been fine ever since. Maybe you could call a computer tech and tell them whats going on with it and they can probably give you a better idea of what the problem is, since it may not be windows.

OR BETTER YET, ask *DangerNerd* on this website. He's a computer tech so he would probably be able to help you more than anyone else could. Good Luck!

I wouldn't advise you coming in between her & him. Long distance relationships CAN work if there's enough love. I should know. What you can do, is just be friends with him for now. If it's true love he has with this girl in Colorado, then don't come in between that. In due time, you'll know if there going to work out or not. Most long distance relationships if there not going to work out then that will happen in the first month of seperation because that is when it is harder for the couples to be apart. You don't want to drive him away from his girl and then make him regret it and dump you just to go back to her. Then you end up with a broken heart so back to the old but very true saying...WHAT IS MENT TO ME WILL ALWAYS FIND A WAY ღ

It does work BUT the steam coming from your wet hair burns your fingers. I bought it and did like it except for the burnt fingers part which is unavoidable for you to straighten your hair so I took it back in like 3 days.

I have decided that I want to stay a virgin until I'm married. My virginity is special to me. I've gone out with a lot of guys and they all end up wanting to be touchy and I'm just not into that. I don't want to be used. I want to be pure and be able to show my husband (when I actually get married, of course) that he really is a special person and that I cared enough to wait for a long time for him.

My problem is that I don't really know how to tell a guy that I refuse to have sex. I don't want to outright say I want to stay a virgin or that I'm keeping my virginity for my wedding night. That just feels too PERSONAL to me and the only time I would tell somebody is if we were in a serious relationship together and he needed to know.

I'm pretty young and I'm afraid to just say no and leave it at that, I guess. Even if I told a guy that I was waiting for marriage I think they'd think I was joking because of me being so young.

I guess my question is...

How do I tell a guy that I don't want to have sex without giving out too much personal details as to why?

Props to you for wanting to wait!! That is the most awesome thing...to know that you want to give all of your self for your husband. I think whatever guy your dating from now up until then SHOULD have major respect for that...if he respects you. If you dont want to tell them why your waiting, a simple "I'm just not ready yet" should suffice. If they keep pushing the subject then it's time to let him go. A guy that respects you will also respect your wishes and not try to push you into doing anything your not ready to do. Best of Luck!

ok i really need a good shampoo that will make my hair stronger because i have very long hair and everytime a brush an abnormal amount of hair is lost. I'm emo. I go by the labels in my skool so deal with it. Well, I hear we should waer gith black jeans and cut ourselves. Honey, you have ALOT and I mean ALOT of growing up to do if you would consider trying to cut yourself in order to go in the "emo tradition" that is the craziest thing I've ever heard of. I'm well aware that you did say, that basically it wasn't in you to do somthing like that but you also stated "I don't have to do those things, do I? how do i make my eyeliner stay put

I agree with babiigirl. I've used that CoverGirl eyeliner for years.. I won't try anything else. *as the old saying goes, if it's not broke...don't fix it* lol
You could also apply some face powder over your liquid makeup (over the eyes) to take out any natural oil (this will help your eyeliner & eye shadow stay put way longer if you have naturally oily skin.

Couple weeks ago, my friend has a party. I went with one of my good friends, Amber. Since she drove, she promised that she wouldn't drink and if she did, she wouldn't have a lot. Once we got to the party I asked her for her keys just INCASE and I hid them in my purse. Like usual, she thought she wouldn't get drunk, she did.

She got SOO wasted that she couldn't even walk for 5 seconds and it freaked me out because everyone there was drunk and I didn't know how to drive but we both had to get home since our parent's and her sister were calling non-stop.

I finally answered to her sister's phone call and explained to her what was going on and she came to pick us up. I did not want Amber to be driving drunk and get us killed. I would never let that happen.

The next day, she was so furious with me that I took her keys and wouldn't let her drive. She even knew I had them. She was also very mad at me for calling her sister and now her sister is mad at her.

I can't help but feel like this is my fault. I didn't want us to get hurt and then regret anything later. What do I do? Advice? Thank you.

There's nothing you can do honey. I don't even know you and I'm proud of you! YOU helped save her life and your own that night. When she gets to be more mature, she'll realize that and thank you for what you did that night. If there were more people like you in this world, my brother's bestfriend would be alive right now.

they did an ultra sound on it last week
and nothing bad came up
but the doctor said i have a lymph node?

my dog was just diagnosed that she is diabetic. well she has been peeing like 1/2 gallons all over half of the kitchen in the mornings. i have done ANYTHING you could think of. mopped 35435435 times, vinegar and water. but the pee is so sugary that it is always still sticky and i can't get it all up!
what else can i do?

Wow, I've delt with this problem to for about 6 months now and just found the solution...
Most of us have moved beyond just trying to cleanup a pet urine stain with standard soap and water. This method just simply does not work, and that is why the market is flooded with urine removers of every size shape and method. The problem with most of these urine removers is that they are liquid based. When you add liquid to dried or crystallized urine you only allow it to spread and potentially seep deeper into the floor.
Go ahead and mop it all up with the hottest water you got... Then sprinkle baking soda (heavily) over the area.. Let it dry completly (It also removes the odor big time) then mop again with hot water and all that icky stickyness should be gone.

The main aspect of creative writing is that it does involve some sort of writing and that at least some elements of that writing are fictional, or imaginative. Even if you are describing something that actually happened to you, once you start re-arranging the events or changing who the characters are, what they look like and/or what they say, you have entered the world of creative writing.

hey, me and my friend were just going through some of the tampon questions and it just confused me more. See I've had my period for about two years now (I'm thirteen) and I get them pretty heavy. I want to try tampons but I'm scared it will hurt, I'll do it wrong, or I'll gett TSS. I want to try it before my period so I don't like mess up but I've heard it hurts. Is that okay to try before and the first time I try is it going to hurt like crazy?

ok, I went thru what your going thru now, I'm fixing to turn 25 and once I was able to get over my fears of tampons, You couldn't pay me a million dollars to go back to waddling with a pad on haha. ok, here we go...The tampon consists of two pieces. Stick the piece with the cotton in first (I'm sure you know this duh lol) and with your finger on the end piece, go all the way in till no more of the end piece hangs out. Then you grab that piece and pull it back out. Wha Lah! (Hope that wasn't to confusing? I'm sorry if it was.) I wouldn't try sticking a tampon in when you weren't on your period because it would be dry and would hurt because of that. Tampons really are more sanitary when compared to pads and also they control odor. Give em' a try and if it hurts or feels uncomfortable in any way then it is not in right, or it's to dry. When inserted properly, you shouldn't feel a thing.
