Whenever im with my boyfriend he always tries to put his hand down my pants. and i wouldnt mind it but i have pubic hair and im scared it would gross him out, so talking to some friend we were all going to go skinny dipping. and they were like ugh i need to shave first. and me being curious was like shave what they were like my vagina its prickly. i was like oh yeah haha. so that night i went and shaved my vagina. and now it just looks weird and not normal... and i think i made the wrong decision. but i cant go back now. was i suppose to do that?
guys when your going to finger a girl do you expect hair or no?
and girls just please help with the whole situation of shaving down there.

I don't shave but I trim it down so it doesn't get prickly like you said.

i have a best friend. we've been best friends for almost seven years now. we've been very close, although we have had our ups and downs.

in summary, i am very jealous of her. she has caused me much stress and tears this past year because she was in all my classes, and she would get straight As on everything. i tried so hard in school and i could never beat her, and i cried so so much. not only did i cry because she was smarter than me, but she has a boyfriend and she is much more talented than i am.

i have never had a real boyfriend and i haven't even gotten my first kiss yet. we're both 15f. she got her first kiss last summer and i got upset for a while but then i got over it. and she got her boyfriend and i was okay with it, not that it matters what i think. then she told me she went to first base a few months ago, and after that she never really told me anything. but recently, she told me she had gone all the way to third base with him, and this happened before april. many, many months ago. i was not only extremely jealous, but i was upset that she couldn't trust me enough to tell me that she got scared that she got an STD.

she told me this a few days ago, but i cannot stop thinking about it. i can't outdo her. and it's making me very depressed. i don't want to go and get a boyfriend to try and see how much farther we can go just to be able to outdo her.

i don't know what to do. i feel like because of this, we're only going to grow more and more apart. i see her other friends wall posting her on facebook talking about double dates and i feel like because she has a boyfriend, i can't relate to her anymore. like if i had a boyfriend and went to third base with him, we would talk about it and share the experience T O G E T H E R. but i haven't even gotten my first kiss yet.

i want to stay her friend, but it's so stressful for me. everytime i see her, i can only count my flaws and see her perfections. i know that nobody is perfect, but this has never happened before this past year. she was in all my classes and i could never do better than her. ever.

i can't talk to her about this because it wouldn't do any good. it's not her fault that i'm jealous of her. but as i said before, i feel like from now on it'll only be downhill. we're only going to grow farther apart as she goes further with her boyfriend and i'm left in the dark. i know she doesn't have to tell me every last detail about she and her boyfriend but just something as significant as third base is something that i would consider important.

can someone please give me some advice?

If talking to her about this won't do any good, what will? You can't just expect that things will fix themselves. You have to talk to her if you want to make things change.

If her having a boyfriend is what is tearing you guys appart, then think back to when you were bestfriends before she had a boyfriend. Why was your friendship so strong? How were you able to relate and get along? Try to bring those things back and connect with her on other issues.

My childhood best friend and I split apart when we got into high school because she started dating guys and she started gravitating towards her friends who also had "guy problems" and such, whereas I did not. We're not BEST friends anymore, but we still enjoy each other's company, and whenever I did start dating someone, we had a lot of fun talking about it. Let things take their natural course, and PLEASE do not feel pressured to get a boyfriend just because you want to get back on the same page with your friend. True best friends don't let guys tear them apart. Just find your roots and everything will be ok.

i was the prson who ate the cheesecake and whatnot and gained like 3-4 pounds

the day that i sent in the question i went running for 3-4 miles and
ate sushi and low fat ice cream (and water)
i probably did have too much of that though

through out the day though when i weighed myself the number did go down to 115 after awhile

the next day (yesterday)
i went running in the morning for 1-2 miles
then had work (which is a camp that involves little kids)
so that must have burned something
went to the gym for an hour (one class is supposed to burn like 700 calories)
then went running again for another 1-2 miles
the only food i ate (which was in one meal) was
a piece of low fat chicken (300 calories)
salad with low fat dressing (300)
and some turkey in light honey mustard (300-400?)

i get on the scale this morning to find that im still 119

if im eating a lot less then sweating myself to death with working out, why am i not back at my normal weight?

Weight changes are not abrupt. In order to lose weight permanently, you have to stick consistently to a diet for longer than just a few days. Eat a balanced, healthy diet that you can stick to without getting discouraged and you'll find that the weight will come off.

Hey guys :]

So Im 17/F im 5'5 and I weigh about 100 lbs. im totally healthy, and not like sickly underweight or anything. But I would love to gain weight. I eat a ton but it doesnt really do anything. Is there any supplements or even medicine you recomend. (im looking for something like that bar that Regina eats in Mean Girls) lol. Something that would make me gain alot of weight im thinking at least 4-5 pounds in time for school. THANKSSSSSSS

Eat protein bars, nuts, granola, or any foods that are high in calories more often. But don't go overboard, continue to eat a balanced, healthy diet, including fruits and vegetables. I would recommend eating snacks throughout the day so that you don't feel overstuffed with food as you're trying to put on weight. If you want to gain 1 pound a week, you will have to consume 500 calories more than you burn per day.

Work out (combination of cardio and weight training).
-Do lunges, squats, and sprints to build muscle in your legs.
-Do plank exercises and sit-ups to work your abs.
-Do push-ups or lift weights to build your arms.

This is important because as you are eating more, your body will naturally store this extra food as fat, so this will keep you toned and lookin' good. (And I'm guessing you want to gain muscular weight, not fat weight.)

so for the past few months ive been working out almost every day, burning about 700 calories
and for the past few weeks ive even been eating healthier/less

basically 24 hours ago, my friend threw a party, and we wound up eating a ton of cheesecake, along with other horrible foods, and a LOT of them

i get home to find myself 3-4 pounds heavier than before the party
my friends metabolism is incredible and will automatically burn it for her
mine...not so great

how do i go about losing this additional weight, along with losing the weight i already have?

p.s. i'm 14/f, 5'3 usually 115
now im about 118-119ish

i was considering not eating for the next few days or whatever
would that help?

The 3-4 pounds you put on from the party is almost guaranteed not fat. It's mostly just that fact that before the party you had less in your stomach and then after you ate, you weighed more because of the weight of the food in your stomach. Most of this weight will come off easily because it's not body fat, it's actual food that you haven't digested yet.

If a few days later you find yourself still a few pounds over, just workout extra and reduce portion sizes slightly until you get back on track.

Since you've been becoming more conscious of your health these past few months, it's easy to get caught up in it all. It's important to remember not to get obsessed with your body and your weight. It's perfectly OK to splurge every once in awhile (and you don't have to starve for the next few days either).

I hate asking for advice but I feel I need to, Ok so I started daiting this year and I have had my fare share of b/f's. All of my b/f's want me to have sex and im not ready I had things happen to me when I as little and its just well I still havent gotton over it. I keep getting dumped because I wont go passed making out.
What should I do?

Be picky when it comes to guys. That's the best way to change things, because right now I'm guessing guys are going out with you because they think it's easy sex. Well you proved them wrong and that's something I applaud you for! What I suggest you do is that you stay single until you find someone that truly cares about you. If they really love you then you won't have to worry about that and they will not give you up for something like sex. Good luck girl, stay strong!!

I haven't been good at math because I have a really bad foundation due to bad teachers! I'm a junior and I am in algebra 2. I'm taking summer school for the first semester though..

I don't like my class because:
the book is so choppy. Bad examples.

The teacher's tests are much harder than the homework. They're so different.

I really don't think I can survive trig! I don't want to take it, but I'm going straight to a four year and hopefully/most likely getting a scholarship for track.

Is there anything else I can do? if I don't take it, will the colleges really turn me down? All my other grades are good.

From what I know, if you want to go to college and be successful, you really need to take math all four years (including trig.) in high school. Even if you are planning on getting a track scholarship, you really shouldn't rely completely on that. If something happens, then you would have very limited opportunity to bounce back.

My suggestion: ask your teacher or find a friend who is taking that class and is doing well and ask them if they would be interested in tutoring you. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, then you could also get tutoring from a place like sylvan.

I know it seems really overwhelming, and I understand why you think trig. is going to be hard for you, and sure, it very well may be. But it's better for you to learn to step up to the challenge now, with hard work anyone can survive a difficult class.

Stick with it, best of luck!

I feel like I am the only teenager (18) who has not had sex yet, or even go pass first base. I don't believe in sex after marriage, but i think its sad how teenagers (15,16, etc) have sex so young. And people say because it's fun, but I feel that losing your viriginity is much more then just having sex you know? But why do people have sex at such a young age or if they are not even that far in a relationship (like 4 months). I'm just curious, about people's personal experiences. Regrets no regrets etc and why they lost their viriginity at such a young age.

I am 15/f and I have had to face this decision but I chose not to lose my virginity, and I am proud of that. It makes a woman more dignified, and if the guy really wants to be with you, he won't mind waiting for you. You are not the only one who feels the way you do, so stay strong and stay loyal to what your heart tells you.

Ok I have been told that I am a good kisser, but I have never french kissed before. People say its easy but it seems like its hard. My boyfriend tries to french kiss me and I dunno what to do help!

Yeah- this happened to me too. If you're nervous about it and you don't want to then don't. Nobody's making you, the only reason you should do it is if you like it. I suggest you try it, just next time he tries, let him get his tounge in your mouth and then you just do what he does. If you like it, then you won't have to worry about feeling uncomfortable. It's pretty easy. I was nervous at first but after a couple times you start to have fun with it.

ive had my period since i was 12 and its been a abnormal period.. but everyones is kinda when they just get it. so it was normal for me. but last time i got it was march. and i had sex in march but i had it after and i can't be pregnant because im in the best shape ever and im loosing weight. and ever since marchish ive been eating healthy and working out kinda. whats wrong? where is my period? should i be concerned

The reason you haven't gotten your period probably is because you are eating less. Your body is recognizing this decrease in calories (which must have happened if you lost weight) and is conserving energy. One thing it is doing is stopping your cycle, because, yes, it does burn calories. Although you are probably not anorexic or anywhere near it, I would suggest eating a little bit more every day, and it will probably come back. The condition you have is called amenorrhea, in case you want to look up more about it. I had it once, and I just ate a little more, and now it's back and I didn't gain weight- the extra calories are cancelled out by your period coming back!

How many times did you try on a tampon before you could actually get it in and use it? And how old were you at th time?

I already tried two times but it didn't work well and my friend told me that I might as well give up cuz it's not my thing then.

I was 12 and it took me over the course of a few days to get it right... it sounds gross but what helped me is that I used a mirror and looked while I did it so I could see where it needed to go. Don't give up on it cuz they make it so much easier- you practically forget about it!

I have the grossest thighs ever. They buldge over my knees and they explode out when I sit down and they have SO much fat on the inner thigh...

I'm only 20 pounds overweight, how can this be? I used to be obese, but then I lost a lot of weight and i thought i'd lose the grossness of my thighs.

What can I do about them?

by the way if it helps i'm five two and a quarter and 154 lbs. (still dieting)

The only way to get rid of that is to lower your body fat percentage, which essentially means losing more weight. You're doing the right thing, so don't get discouraged! Look at how far you've come, and keep going. Do prolonged cardio at a steady pace often (such as walking, jogging, swimming, biking, or dancing). Try to do this activity for an hour on most days at a comfortable effort level. You will train your body to use your fat stores. Once you've reached a normal BMI, start up the weights and lunges and resistance training. This will build muscle and tone your legs. Good luck, and just remember to never ever let up. There is no offseason. Fitness is 24/7, 365 days of the year.

Okay, When im not on my period my face is super clear no breakouts, nothing.
But when im on my period, I have these breakouts on my forehead and there is really no way of getting them to go away.

They go away after my period is over but I would like to go in public and not have breakouts all over my face while on my period.

So, is there any way to treat breakouts when im not on my period so when i am on it, i dont have any?

Btw, I use neutrogena. Is there a good face wash that I could use?

Please helpp.

This is a hormonal problem, so it probably won't go away with any kind of wash or cream. If it really bothers you, go to a dermatologist and they can prescribe a medication specifically for that problem- this happened with me and the medicine really helps.

I eat a lot of fruit. Every day I have at least 2-4 servings. I eat a variety of fruits at lunch. I know they are healthy for you, but what about the sugar? Is there something bad about eating fruit daily? I still eat veggies but only one meal as a side. Any ideas? Thanks!

Some dieters cut out fruit because they are afraid that if they eat any sugar, they will crave it and binge on sugary foods. You're ok. I'm assuming you don't have that problem, and even if you did, it isn't necessary to cut out all sugar to be healthy.

Continue to eat a lot of fruit- don't go crazy though! Stay within a reasonable range, I would say no more than 6 servings in any one day. However, I recommend that you basically stay between 2-4 servings.

I need your help deciding what the ideal menu for a public dinner would be.

Not knowing what would be the best dishes to serve is making this an impossible task.

If you will tell me your favorite foods, or point me to your favorite recipes, it would really help a lot.

You can list as many things as you like. They don't have to be fancy things at all. I am all about the comfort food baby! :)

This will be a mixed group of people so I would like to have something for everyone.

Cooking for a banquet is not as hard as trying to figure out WHAT to cook!

Everyone will receive feedback.

Thank you!

P.S. If all that was a lot to digest, pun intended, here is a summary: Please list all your favorite foods.

fajitas
quesodillas
chicken
pizza
sausage
ravioli
lasanga
quiche
spaghetti
onion rings
salad (would be nice to offer)
jalapeno poppers
nachos
cookie cake
cream puffs
brownies
tacos
enchiladas
burritos

...as you can probably tell, i'm a fan of the mexican food group...lol.

I have anorexia and have not had my period for 2 or 3 months, but I was wondering, even though I don't get my period can I still get side-effects like bloating? Because normally I'd be getting my period this week but since I don't get it anymore, I didn't. But I'm bloated. So...is that possible?

The loss of your period is a condition called ammenorhea. It is common in girls with anorexia. The bloating is a side effect of the anorexia, not the mensturation. I wish you a successful recovery from this disease.

Are pixie sticks good physically to your body?

It tastes so good but I wonder of it's bad because I feel like it's kinda the same as eating a bowl of just sugar.

Thanks and when you answer can you tell me if you're a professional or not so I can know for sure?

I am no professional, but it doesn't take a professional to know that pixie sticks are just pure sugar. It is not good for your body physically, as too much sugar never is. It is bad for your teeth, and it gives you a spike in your blood sugar levels which makes you hyper at first, then later drowsy.

if i eat heathy and do tie bo everyday and gymnastics twice a week how much weight will i lose in about 40 days..thankyou

It depends what your definition of "healthy" is. You could healthy food and still not lose weight if you ate enough of it. Eat healthy and use portion control. How much weight you will lose depends on your body size now, how much you eat, and your activity level. You are pretty active, so if you are consistent with eating smarter, then you may lose up to about 10 pounds, i think.

okay so before every lacrosse practice, i get really really nervous. and these practices aren't death or anything..i mean some of them are hard, but it's only sprints. i get really nervous that we're gonna have a really hard practice and that i'm not gonna be able to make it through, and i have this constant nervous pit in my stomach. any way to control this?

It happens to the best of us- the more you do it, the easier it will get, and the less nervous you will be. Just do some running and working out on your own, and it will get easier a lot faster. Have fun with lax--its an awesome sport!
