X_jessica_X answered Sunday June 17 2007, 4:11 pm: when i first started my period i used pads
then when i had it the next month
i decided to use tampons, and i had no clue how to put them in.
they would always be hanging half way out.
and hurt like hell.
i went through 2 boxes of tampons untill i found the paper of instructions on how to do it.
but if your having trouble i can tell you how to use them if you dont know how.
if your using the plastic kind of tampon then you take it and put it all the up your vagina until the little stick is hanging out there the string is, then you push that stick in and make the cotton thing go in, then you pull the plastic out. and throw it away.

epicadvice answered Sunday June 17 2007, 2:28 pm: i'm 14 and i just started using tampons. it takes a while to get used to but seriously, keep trying. once you get used to them they're wicked easy. after you get it in a couple times successfully, you can't feel it at all. curliecue answered Sunday June 17 2007, 2:22 pm: I was 12 and it took me over the course of a few days to get it right... it sounds gross but what helped me is that I used a mirror and looked while I did it so I could see where it needed to go. Don't give up on it cuz they make it so much easier- you practically forget about it! [ curliecue's advice column | Ask curliecue A Question ]
bLue_in_tHe_faCe answered Sunday June 17 2007, 2:14 pm: Two times? Oh your going to have to try more than that dear. Don't give up though! Tampons are 10 times better than pads, seriously they are so much more easier and you don't have to worry about them showing threw shorts or jeans or whatever. And you can swim with them and they are just so much easier. It took me a while to but I eventually got the hang of it. I was 12. If it hurts when its in and you can feel the tip of it then its not in right. You should be able to feel like its not even in there. Try to put on in after taking a shower or bath so you have some wetness kinda (sorry that sounds gross) so it can move easier in. You shuold be able to get it. Good luck =) [ bLue_in_tHe_faCe's advice column | Ask bLue_in_tHe_faCe A Question ]
