I go away to school and I have a little sister who I dont get a chance to see a lot. This past weekend, I came home but I didnt spend as much time with her as I should have. We got into a little fight and when I left, I didnt even say goodbye to her. Do you think she can forgive me?
sweetheart, of course your little sister will forgive you! she loves you! dont feel guilty for not spending much time with her and for getting into the fight. call her up and let her know that youve realized what you did and how awful you feel. most little sisters look up to their big sisters and admire them for everything. i know that if you make an effort to show her that you care and love her and are truely sorry.. she will forgive you! i hope everything works out. which im sure it will, but good luck anyways!
My mom just moved in with a guy and he has a 13 daughter that I believe is a great person, however I just got out of a mental institution for attempting suicide and depression! I started cutting again and now she is following in my footsteps, I dont want to be a leader in that kind of way, but I cant seem to be able to stop! I want to be a positive influence in her life however I'm just confused! How do I be positive when I'm still a cutter!?!
sweetheart- you cant control the fact that your a cutter. it is a condition that can only be worked through and be overcome when you are ready to give it up. however when it comes to your new little "sister" you can still be positive. explain the good parts of life (even if you cant think of any because of your depression). just give her good advice and lookout for her. hid your cutting from her and show her that your happy- even if you have to pretend. you want the best for her, and that might mean a little lie here and there. i hope everything works out for you! good luck with everything!

hey hun. well here is something that i can totally help you with!! my father is gay and to be honest with you.. i wouldnt have it any other way! people use to talk about it all the time and say things, at first when i was younger it bothered me alot. but now that im 16 it doesnt even phase me when they say something bad. my dad is the greatest man that i know and because of the fact that he is gay i have become the strongest person ever. heck that is one reason why i love to talk to people and help them with their problems. i am so lucky to have him in my life and i know that you feel the same way about your brother. i am the least superficial (caring what others think about me or my looks or anything) person that you could meet. i am myself and happy with life. if my dad wasnt gay i fear that i would be the stuck up cheerleader that gives the bad reputation to people like me. i am a former cheerleader but i wasnt the ditzy blonde bitch. i look at life and the fact that my ddad is gay as a miracle. i can proudly say that i love and accept him for who he is. not only can i accept him, i can accept myself for who i am. so what i think you should do, is be happy for your brother and be glad that he can be who he wants to be. continue being supportive and stop worrying what others think! be proud of him! love him!
okay well i shave down there and it grows back really fast. like in a week! is that normal or what? is there anything i can do to prevent it? and i also get those little red bumps and sometimes the hair is not always completley gone! any tips please? thank you.
hey sweetie, well i hate to break it to you, but the growng back in a week is normal. and the sad thing is, there really isnt anything you can do to prevent it. as for the red bumps its called razor burn. you can prevent this by using a moisterizing shaving gel insted of just soap because it helps the blades glide better and get a closer cut. i hope that i helped at least a little. good luck!
Hey all, well, on Saturday, im gonna get my cartilage pierced! (Like at the upper ear, where actress Raven-Symone has it). And i was wondering, if all of all of you that have one could tell me about the pain, how 2 make it go good and keep my mind off of it, and healing processes?!?!?! Im getting it down with a gun if it helps any....
hey hun, i have my cartilage pierced on each ear. i have 2 next to eachother on one ear and then one at the top and then one in the middle of the outside part on the other ear. if you are gettin the top done then the pain is less then if you were getting the middle part. it is like a little pinch. i use to work at Claire's and i would do ear piercings. i can tell you that about 85% or so ask themselves why they were so worked up over nothing. it is 1,2,3 and your done. then there is a solution put on that helps take away the stinging. it honestly isnt that bad!! the healing process takes 8-12 weeks. well you can change them after then, however i know from experience that you should keep it in longer. you do have to keep it in for at least a year before you can go without wearing an earing. you need to clean it and turn it twice a day. when it starts to crust at about 4 weeks or so DONT WORRY it is not infected. that is just a sign that it IS healing. as gross that it might be its a good thing. well i hope that this helps you out and good luck!
i use to be really good friends with this gurl. but we dont talk anymore. we both said some really bad things about eachother. she wrote a note to when we were friends saying that we would be friends forever no matter what. hey hun- to be honest with you, i think that you SHOULD talk to her. i know what its like to be in this situation. but i know that if you two were really great friends, that she is missing you as much as you are missing her. she might not be ready to admit it, but she is. so what i think that you should do is either call her, write her a note or personally i would go to her house and talk to her in person. you dont need advice or my words as to what you should say to her. what you need to do is be completely honest with her and let her know how you feel. open up to her. just say what you feel and believe in your heart. let her know that you miss her and that things have been rough without her. and i know that things might be awkward for a while but you could atleast mention that you two could try to start over and take things slow, unless she is wiling to be best buds again. i think that as long as you are honest and truthful with her everything will work out in the long run. just let me tell you, she might not be as accepting as you would like. so be prepaired incase she does shoot you down. i want to wish you the best of luck and i hope everything works out for you and your friend!!
Ok. My boyfriends dads, halfbrothers, half son seems to always hit on me whenever i see him and my boyfriend always gets mad at me. when we went to the movies and him and his bestfriends, sisters friend was there.. he was like all over me and then me and my boyfriend left the bowling ally with his step-brothers dad.when we got in the car my boyfriend was extremly upset with me... how do i make this stop?
sweetie what you need to do, is sit your boyfriend down and talk to him and let him know that you are having no part in it. let him know that you dont like this guy and that he is doing it against your will. you need to make sure he knows how much you care about him. try asking him why he gets upset with you over it, and let him know how hurt and upset you get when he wrongfully accuses you. bottom line is- you just have to be completely honest with your boyfriend and make sure he knows your feelings. i hope everything works out with the two of you! good luck!

this is a decision that is really up to you. i have been highlighting and lowlighting(which is when you have a darker color along with the blonde put in) for the past 4 years. i have thought about just dying my hair but my hair grows fast too. so i decided not to dye it all one color because of the hassle of having to keep up all the time. it is more noticeable then when you have your hair highlighted or lowlighted- So0h if you want an opinion from someone with experience i have given you mine. i hope that helped and good luck!

ok think about this.. girls can mature early- like she can get boobs young and get her period at an early age, like 9 or so. well heres the thing- that is when the body starts producing hormones. guys too can mature early so 12 could be a reasonable age. think about it, by the time a girl is 12-14 she has her period. the hormones affect the sexs differently- girls bodys and guys bodys along with their minds.

ok i got this bacterial infection in my throat adn i was prescribed pills but i dont care much for them. i took them how i was suposed to for a week and i have like a bunch left but i feel fine, should i continue taking them even tho i feel fine?
that is something that i would ask your dr. my guess is that you should because even tho you feel fine- bacteria can still be there and you need the pills to make sure they get destroyed so that you will be healthy.

hun, you dont have to "choose" one or the other. if you really like this guy and your friends are really your "true" friends then they should understnad and be respectful to your feelings. they should support you. just tell them upfront that you would like their support and if they cant give it, then to atleast keep their comments to themselves. good luck with everything.

well you could get fake nails to help you stop- thats what i did and now that they are off i dont bite them anymore. ive heard of putting something on your nails like hot sause or something so that when you go to, you stop- but i dont know how well that works. lol.

hey hun, it really depends on when you ovulate. you are supose to ovulate in the middle from your period to your next. but sometimes its different. i happen to know someone who ovulates just before they get theirs. you usually can feel it. the chances are moreso less, however there is still always that chance.

actually, ive heard that it doesnt hurt at all! the only thing that might sting, is when they remove the neddle and put the stud in. i mean my cousin pierced her own nose with a safty pin, so im guessing that it cant hurt that much!
For the past week my hands have just been ice cold. My guess it is do to poor circulation. I work on a computer all day, so it is not like I am not moving them. Does anyone have any ideas what causes this, and what I can do about it? It is very uncomfortable.
My hands are the same way, and so are my feet. do they turn red, or white or purple? if so, you might have a condition called Rinauds syndrom ( dont know the exact spelling) its is brought on by poor circulation and even though you are moving them while typing- i notice that mine get worse when i do type. the only thing that you really can do, is wear gloves or stuff to keep them warm. after away you just get use to it. i hope that that might have helps a little. good luck and take care.
