okay, the guy i really like just asked me out. yay. but the down side is hes punk. and im prep. i kno i kno it shouldnt matter. but if i go out with him i kno pplz are gonna look at me different, think im different and treat me different. i cant stand it. i really like this guy help me, should i or shouldnt i go out with him???

Well, I guess it is do you like him enough to not care about what people say. At the end of high school, it's not going to matter if you were a prep or punk. Get over the whole clique thing and just go for it. Your real friends and the people that matter will be there for you and will understand that it doesn't matter that he is a punk.

alrite well the question is do you like him more? or are you more worried about your image? In the long run i think you'll find that your image isn't as important as its cracked up to be. I know its important in high school but just really think, if you didn't date a guy just because of a label people put on him are you gonna end up regretting it? and having to live with the "what if". you shouldn't worry about it...becasue if people look at you differently especially your friends... that is just wrong... your friends should be there for you even if you are dating someone completely outside of the norm your friends should still have your back... and don't worry what other people say because you have a guy who likes you and friends who will stay by your side...so don't worry about it...but i would talk it over with your friends and tell them how you feel casue if they know your having doubts about them being there for you... it will make you guys even closer... so basically don't worry about either way and tell your friends what is goin through your mind
