beauteful_withn answered Friday December 3 2004, 8:09 pm: hey sweetie, well i hate to break it to you, but the growng back in a week is normal. and the sad thing is, there really isnt anything you can do to prevent it. as for the red bumps its called razor burn. you can prevent this by using a moisterizing shaving gel insted of just soap because it helps the blades glide better and get a closer cut. i hope that i helped at least a little. good luck! queenbianca2004 answered Thursday November 25 2004, 10:00 pm: Ok ummm well its senative thats why you get the bumps . And the more you shave it the faster and more it grows. So let it grow out. Is anyone seeing it???? Or when you wear a bathingsuit.... mow that lawn!!!!!!! [ queenbianca2004's advice column | Ask queenbianca2004 A Question ]
PerkyPeacock answered Thursday November 25 2004, 8:55 pm: bumps are prolly ingrown hairs, you could always try wax, but i hear that really, really, really hurts. try a cream thing like nair to take it all off, but! find one that's bikini area safe or something like that... otherwise, that could be bad. XxXCheerStarXxX answered Thursday November 25 2004, 3:03 pm: i would suggust that you wax but if you would rather stick to shaving i have a really good tip, itis normal for it to grow back that fast and to get rid of those red bumps, trim the hair really short then shave then put some neosporin just make sure it doesnt get in there hope this helps. MissLicious47 answered Thursday November 25 2004, 2:41 pm: Umm .. i am going 2 try to help you. Ok, i am pretty sure that this is normal. And the red bumps are from you not using shaving gel, and make sure after you get out of the shower to put lotion on it. That will prob. stop the red bumps. Well.. i am pretty sure that will help you out.

Striker6909 answered Thursday November 25 2004, 1:23 pm: WOW.. okay use those creams that girls use like nair or something... and depending on what kind of razor you use... you should probably use gillete 4 with the 4 edge things for a "closer shave"... and the red bumps are just there cause of irritation so.. put on some lotion.. Derfel answered Thursday November 25 2004, 3:41 am: Hi there
My tip: wax rather than shaving. When you shave hair not only is it difficult to get it all off (as you’ve been experiencing) but you don’t remove the follicle so hair grows back fairly quickly. Also waxing would prevent you from getting that red shaving rash. By the way pay no attention to ‘Dr squirrel’ (the one who ‘urges you to get medical advice’) – he is a complete prat (who hasn’t heard of shaving rashes lol) [ Derfel's advice column | Ask Derfel A Question ]
