Vintage Tees

Question Posted Monday October 18 2004, 10:23 pm

My 14 yr. old brother will be turning 15 soon and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy him some vintage t-shirts (i.e. Atari, Nintendo, etc.)? Thanks!

Well if you don't mind getting real "vintage" shirts you can check out ebay( its cheaper then my next choice)! They have tons of things to choose from! And you can keep the ebay part a "secret" ;)! I recently went to the mall and we were shopping for my uncle and brother and i saw JUST! what you are looking for! It was actually in the guys section of J C Penneys. I highly reccomend you go check it out!

Hot Topic always carries this kind of stuff but it's horribly overpriced, just like everything else they sell. I heard eBay and that's not a bad suggestion, but only if you leave a lot of time because you never know if what you get mailed is what you think you bought. Also, your brother seems too young to remember any Atari stuff, so that's probably not the best option. Nintendo, maybe.

If you live in a town with thrift shops or goodwills those are both good places to look for anything vintage....sometimes even antique shops might have what you are looking for.

Hot topic has a couple of them..i got a John Deere shirt there once, and i know they have Nintendo. Another thing to try would be t-shirt sites online..such as www.tshirthell.com

Hope i helped!

Hot Topic has a lot of Nintendo shirts. You could either pick some out for your brother, or buy him a gift card and he can pick them out for himself.

OMG! I know the place! VALUE VILLAGE!! They are SO cheap and have a TON of vintage tees. I think they have a website. valuevillage.com? But if you don't have one near you try Tees.Com they have a wide variety of tees (vintage and non) Good luck! :)

There's a shop around my area called Ragstock that has cute vintage tees for guys. If you don't have one, try Kohl's.. They have some Nintendo ones.
