I have been friends with this girl, I'll call Katie for like 15 years. But for the last 4 years she has become an overbearing and often embarrassing persence. Katie often guilts people into doing things they don't want too. Shes an only child and has always gotten her way or has lied to get it. Katie is extrememly outgoing, Oh and did I mention she was outgoing. She is very large breasted and gets a lot of attention from guys. Which doesn't bother me because she and I have different taste in men. Lately though I've noticed she often lies to me, which she never used to. She also tells things about me to others that are outright lies. I am shocked and have asked her about what she says but she somehow comes up with some weird explanation. I have stopped telling her anything I don't want everyone to know. She also often chastises, me for doing the same things she does. Katie also gets jealous when I hang out with other friends and often makes her distaste for my other friends very obvious. I almost want to cut her off completely. Should I or should I try to find out what has gotten into her?
Just flat-out stop hanging out with her. She's a terrible friend and you shouldn't have to put up with her. I've had bad friends like that, and I used to be very forgiving, but they'd just hurt me again. She's saying stuff behind your back and lying to you, two of the worst things a person could do to someone. It sounds harsh, but you have to cut her off, or else she'll just keep hurting you.
hey i just got a haircut today, and it's kind of short. i like it and all, i'm just afraid that it will go crazy on me because my hair is naturally curly (i straighten it). are there any products out there that will help keep it like it is when i first straighten it the morning?

Okay, you need to straighten things out with your friend first. If she won't stop flirting with him, she's not a great friend. As for the guy, have more confidence! If you're confident, that's really attractive to guys. Hope I helped!

my sister has been going out with this guy mike for longer thn a year and my whole family has loved him like a son/brother ect. but my stupid sister broke up with him for this druggie that our whole family despises. Try mixing some baking soda with water and brushing your teeth with that. I've tried it and it works really well!
My ex girlfriend won't stop trying to talk to me and still wants to be friends, even though I have told her multiple times I do not. It's pretty obvious that she still likes you and that you don't feel the same. You need to tell her, to her face, that you don't feel the same about her. Otherwise, she'll just keep bugging you.

My sister had scoliosis. She had to get back surgery back in December.. She also had to wear a brace for awhile. Her curve was really bad, like around 60 or 70. But her brace didn't work, so that's why she had the surgery. Her curve is down to 18 now.

DON'T try it! My friend used to smoke weed and got charged with possession. She also did stupid things when she was high like made out with random guys & did other stuff. Don't even do it.
I have alot of dried skin on my face all of a sudden for no reason, so I stopped using a facial cleanser but it doesn't seem to help, I've tried a feew moisterisers and nothing is working, and I don't wear cover up or foundation or anything like that. Any advice on how to get my face moisterized?
Well, it is winter. My skin gets really dried out during the winter. I'd say try using hand lotion on your face, that should moisturize it. Or else visit a doctor because it could be rosacea. Rosacea is where your skin is really dried out and red. But your doctor will give you something to help.
Okay... I go to high school. And everyone knows the hell schedules you can have. I'm in all honors classes so I have alot of homework and alot of studying to do. Not to mention, I have a social life... SORRY! So I don't get to bed till late... period. But I CANT SLEEP. I have so much energy. And I get to bed at like two in the morning and wake up at five to shower and I'm not even TIRED... that's the sad thing I'm constantly fired up... even with two hours of sleep. But m body is suffering in ways that I can't feel. I used to be really muscular, now my muscles are smoothing out (even though i still lift and run.) And on top of that I went down a cup size of bra in one week. Am I an insomniac? What the hell should I do????
I'm like that, too! I'm up all the time. Just last night at my friend's house, she fell asleep at 1 AM & I was up until 4 & woke up at 6. I have so much energy all the time. I've also been getting really thin lately. I used to be around 120 pounds & now I'm down to 114 within the course of 2 weeks.
I'd have to say go to your doctor. There's gotta be some medicine for it. I still have yet to go, lol..
Theres this guy online that wont leave me alone. Hi! I'm thinking of getting contacts. I have been wearing glasses for 8 years, and am unhappy with the marks that they leave behind. Numerous friends of mine have said I should get contacts, and I know some people that already do! Don't use Acuvue. I have those & they dry out really easily. I used to have Bausch & Laumb and those were good.

theres this guy who i met when i came to a new school.. he was really funny and wed talk alot.. except hes really perverted and every joke he makes deals with something nasty... i found out that he liked me and it totally ruined our friendship.. i mean i feel so uncomfortable around him because of the thoughts he has and the fact that he likes me just makes me disgusted.. he asked me to the dance at the end of the year and said yes.. cuz i thought we could go as friends.. but i found out that he STILL liked me.. i cant talk to him anymore.. what do i do.. should i like still go to the dance with him.. i dunno gimme some thoughts
You said yes to him, so you'd have a hard time getting out of going with him without breaking his heart. I had this same problem a few months ago.
My guy friend liked me A LOT, but he was really perverted and constantly made sick jokes about being horny, sex, and that sort of stuff. He asked me to hang out, and I thought it was just as friends. Then I found out that he still liked me when I got there. I was pretty much stuck with him for the rest of the night, watching him gaze at me (I don't even WANNA know what he was thinking the whole time) and groping me. I told him to knock it off but he wouldn't stop. So I said I had to go, and he told me to stay. I agreed to stay if he had his friend/neighbor come over. He came over. My friend was still touching me (he grabbed my ass a few times). My other friend (the neighbor) told him to knock it off, but he still didn't. So then I blew up at him, and left.
I haven't talked to him in 5 months. I miss just chatting with him. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Yeah, that's sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is any unwanted sexual attention, such as catcalls, inappropriate comments, and sexual comments. If I were you, I'd report him to your counselor. He/she can find something to do about it.
i earlier asked a question about doing 200-250 crunches a day.. nd people sed that would tone your body.. would that mean you'd get abs? and like a 6 pack?
It would make your stomach flatter and maybe give you a six-pack. But don't go too hard on yourself. 200+ a day?! That's not healthy unless you're extremely fit. Try doing 50 a day.
Well im 15 and i need to make some money im saving up for a drum set i have been saving for awhile and i dont have that musch. No onw will hire a 15 year old. Does anyone have any ideas of how i can make some money??
Try going to a local restaurant & see if they need anyone to bus tables or wash dishes. Doesn't sound so glamourous, but that's pretty much all a 15 year old can do.. Btw, I'm also lookin' for a job, lol.
I think I have depression, I've got almost all the symptoms on this website, and I've felt like this for about 5 months. I don't know how to tell my mum; she's so old fashioned and she thinks that young people can't get depression, and I'm 14 so she won't believe me. I started crying this morning for a stupid reason but I was feeling depressed, and she just said, "oh, here we go." She won't believe me if I tell her. I don't know who to tell, my friends are immature and won't understand - or they'll laugh about it, 'cos I'm good at hiding how I feel and I smile when I'm feeling bad so no-one notices. I can't make a doctors appointment myself, and I don't know how to get a counsellor, and anyway I also think I've got social anxiety so I wouldn't be able to say anything for them to help. How can I get rid of this depression because lately I've been considering suicide and looking on the net for ways to go about it. Thanks xo
Go to your school counselor and tell her what you just told us. She can officially diagnose you and refer you to a mental health doctor.
