haha, I've been a Bowling FoR Soup fan foR *yeaRs and *yeaRs!! =D But you've pRobably heaRd a ton of RumoRs about all the teRRible things uppeR classmen do to "fReshmeat", and you would *THINK* high school would be like that, but believe it oR not.. high school kids aRe veRy accepting of diffeRences!! TRust me, high school can most ceRtainly be tough at times, and it's that way foR *EVERYONE*. Because of that, kids theRe want it to be as smooth as possible foR THEMSELF, so they definitely won't botheR with haRRassing you and making it woRse foR someone else, when they'Re tRying to get thRough it themselves!! It's Really no big deal!! Give it a week oR so, and you'll know the way to youR classes NO pRoblem!! The haRdest paRt would be GETTING TO THEM in time!! Most high schools give you a five minute passing peRiod, sometimes less, sometimes moRe.. it vaRies fRom school to school.. but even then.. five minutes is neveR enough time.. so you gotta Run youR butt!! As foR making fRiends... I know this seems typical, but just be fRiendly. Speak out in class - this is a GREAT way to get noticed. Say hello to fellow classmates if you see them in the hallway. Join some clubs also.. that's a good way to meet people; then Right off the bat you know you have something in common with them. And always smile.. smiles definitely get noticed! And wheneveR you see someone sitting alone at lunch oR in the moRning befoRe school, just walk Right up to them and be like, "Hey! How's it goin'?", oR if you have them in a class just say.. "Hey! ARen't you in my [whateveR class]" I know it seems difficult, but you just have to Roll with the punches. Be bold and talkative. Middle School is Really NO big deal, tRust me.. you'll do just fine!! And in case you weRe wondeRing about PE: not *ALL* schools make you showeR; it vaRies. PeRsonally, the G.U.Y.S in my school HAD to showeR. If they neglected to showeR 3 times peR ONE semesteR... they failed the class automatically. HoweveR, the G.I.R.L.S *DID NOT* have to showeR. They could showeR if they wanted to, but they DID NOT have to!! I think it's because the giRls have that time of the month when it's veRy embaRRassing to showeR aRound otheRs, and boys don't.. if you get my dRift theRe. Also, I Read one a question exactly like this... that some schools have stalls. If they say it, it must be tRue... but I don't know wheRe people are getting this cuRtain/stall thing. My school DOES NOT have that. They should though!!! I'm soRRie I can't give you a definite answer, on if you have to showeR oR not. I'm just unawaRe of the way youR school opeRates. Just ask anyone who goes/went theRe. They'll tell you. Just make shoRe to make the most out of youR high school yeaRs... you'll find that they come and go VERY quickly!! Goodluck; hope I helped!! You *DEFINITELY* need to confRont him on this. Just set aside youR feaRs, and go foR it! It's the *ONLY* way to know FOR SHORE if he likes you oR not; you can *ASSUME* he does all you want... but you'll neveR know *exactly* how he feels unless it's coming stRaight fRom his lovely face. Also, it'd pRobably be a good idea foR you to bReak the ice and tell him you like him fiRst. If you've neveR done this befoRe, I always Recommend *AFTER* a showeR one night, hold a *WET* and *HOT* cloth oveR youR eyebRows foR about 2 minutes -- the showeR allows youR poRes to open up, Releasing haiR a bit easieR, and then the hot cloth will loosen them up moRe, say if you dRied youR haiR befoRe doing youR bRows, ya know? This still will moRe than likely huRt some, but not *NEARLY* as much as it would have had you *NOT* used the hot cloth. It's kind of a bummeR that theRe's kind of no way aRound the pain at the beginning, but you just have to tell youRself that "pain is beauty", and it will all be woRth it in the end. AfteR youR done plucking them, oR even while you'Re STILL plucking them, the aRea aRound it tuRns a deep puRple and swells -- which is completely fine, and should be *GONE* by moRning, say foR school. AfteR a couple times of plucking them.. let's say ten.. you will have damaged the neRve endings, and the pain will just go away.. to the point wheRe afteR 30 times oR so.. you will have no pain at all -- like me; and that is a good thing!! PeRsonally, I think it's *DEFINITELY* woRth it, but that's just *my* opinion. Also, it's extRemely impoRtant to have good tweezeRs!! I *HIGHLY* suggest getting a slanted tip one; it's Really cRucial that you'Re comfoRtable with youR weapon - *haiR is the enemy*!!
