Hey. Today is my friend's b-day. He's turning 16, and we've been friends for about 12 or so years. (yeah, it's a lot lol) Well, I kind of don't know what to get him. I'm not sure what he likes. My friend and I have this suggestion. There is a pic of me and him when we were about 4, and since I have doubles, we were thinking about getting a nice picture frame to put it in. Is that a good idea? I'm pretty sure he's the kind of type who would think it's cute. He's kind of a ladies man lol. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks.
x3 Erin

Also, if you remember a toy he used to like and can find one like it, give that to him as well. For really close friends, a gift basket is nice, especially for a monumental birthday like a 16 or 13 or something. Put together stuff he might like, like chocolate, that picture, a toy that will bring back memories, and stuff like that.

Also try buying a disposable camera and going ut and doing something with him and a few friends, and take pictures. Get them developed, and make a pig poster with all the pictures on it, sort of like a collage but a big one. Or you could make copies of any pictures you have now and do the same thing. Also, if you've heard him mention a CD or game or a movie he wanted to buy, get him that. You could always ask him what he wants, as well. But I really like the picture idea. Sentimental gifts always hold more value to me, and a lot of people probably feel that way.
Maybe if you have doubles of a lot of old pictures, you can make some kind of poster/colleauge and frame it too. If you're a good writer, I think a poem or song about how much you value your friendship to him will be really good.
