Karen answered Saturday May 14 2005, 3:32 pm: No, there is no site that you can get music without downloading songs. Inorder to put songs on a CD, you need to download them from file sharing program so it can then go onto your computer to put them on it. The only site where you can get music without downloading any programs is [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). LimeWire does not harm your computer at all; it won't make it run slower and it won't give you any viruses and such. [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]

EJ47 answered Saturday May 14 2005, 2:31 pm: You can't do that, really. In order to burn something to a CD it must be on your hard drive first. And the only way to get free music by downloading it is pirating it, whicch I don't suggest you do. You can, however, download songs really cheap. You can download a plugin from Walmart.com and buy music from them fo ronly $0.88 a song. Or iTunes, for $0.99 a song.
This is the closest thing I can think of. Limewire requires downloading a program. This site you just have to type in the artist name and you can get the music. They have most artists, but there are a few they don't have. Probably because of legal reasons or something. [ fragileivory's advice column | Ask fragileivory A Question ]
