No one wants to have sore feet the whole night, so it is 100% acceptable. [ xoredsoxnation9's advice column | Ask xoredsoxnation9 A Question ]

Also watch what other people are doing. If there are others with their shoes off follow the leader!!! lol and it's your boyfriend's aunt so he should know how to handle it! ask him "will anyone care if i take my shoes off??" if you are uncomfortable taking your shoes off, buy some ballet flats to change into... they are comfortable and are in style right now!! Hope this helps you, and have a great time! <3 if you need anything else please let me know. [ SqUeAkYsHoEs's advice column | Ask SqUeAkYsHoEs A Question ]

I've gone to a wedding in the past and I took my shoes off after a while so I think that it is okay. Just don't take them off in the actual wedding part.
