advice

I was woundering if there was a way to get music into column.Im trying to make a neat looking column and i thought music could make it cooler and you could see what kind of music i like and stuff so if anyone can answer this for me thnx a bunch!!

the type of music file you need to make it play on your site is MIDI. i think. they're sites that give you music specially for MIDI files, try searhcing for that on google!

On some buddy icons there is a little heart that drawas itself or blinks in the corner. Not a big one or something. Go to iconator.com and look at those icons and they have little hearts. I have tried everything with my animator to make it happen and I've gone to google and looked up tutorials but I can't figure out how to put that little heart on my buddy icons. If anyone is buddy icon savvy, please help me.

I have a mac, so I use GIF builder.
works like a charm.
You need to make 2 frames..
1. with the text w/o the heart.
and 2. with the text, either a different color text, or the same colored text, and with the heart.
You might draw the heart yourself, or you can find on google or someone's xanga the outline of a heart.
You can also use Adobe photoshop to create the image on your icon

lol i know i said i wasnt going to post anymore. but it suddenly occured to me. poor carter is having to deal with all of this. like wanting to be loyal to his friend but i know he really likes her. which by the way, is weird because last week we all snuck out (because we're bad.. haha) and when it was just me and him he was like the only cool people here are you and sara (completley diffrent girl who was with us) and hes always said he didnt think i should be friends with her because shes not really a good friend to me and he doesnt like it when shes so mean to me. like he specifically told her not to yell at me and i was like dont and he was like NO I DONT WANT HER YELLING AT YOU AND MAKING YOU FEEL BAD! so idk.. its all kind of insane. but do you think i should say something to carter about dealing with this, or just leave it?

Well!! Carter shouldn't have to deal with this, but he kind of put himself in a really bad situation.
-Here's kind of a rule. Guys dont interfere with girl stuff, and Girls don't interefere with guy stuff, unless the guy asks for help. Kind of Sexist, yes I know but it's true.
Carter... Carter... Carter.. He's being sweet by trying to help, but you need to let him know there's no way for him to help in this type of thing. E for Effort though!
If Carter said not to be friends with her, why in the world is he dating her? is this Christina girl some popular mean girl? Well, if that's the case he might be dating her for the glory of dating a POPULAR person.. but from the looks of it, that doesn't sound like him.. is that right?

my stomach is about 31 inches. im 13 and around 5'5". is that normal? is it too fat?! i feel fat =\, am i over-exaggerating? could i manage to lose a few inches, or gain a few? thanx

well i dont know what my stomach is in inches but i'm 114. and i'm 5'4 so, if it's anywhere remotly close to there, youre safe to gain a few pounds!

yeah christina is my friend.ive already talked to carter about it and he said that if she tries to get him not to talk to me its one war she wont win. i think that i just need to talk to all of them one on one and figure things out, and then things will be okay. ive tried apologising and saying lets be friends with them like 2859345 times tho, and now its kinda to the point where theres only so much you can do, you know?

- Yes, you're right about needing to talk to them one on one because I think that's the only way they'll know your serious about wanting to be friends, and not just wanting attention. Because like if you talked with them in a big crowd and made a sene, then they might think you wanted attention and not their friendship.

How do you make all that stuff that appears when you type in stuff in a box like on Google? There's so much of them on my computer and I can't get it to go away. I deleted the cookies in my Temporary Internet Files, I deleted my Temporary Internet Files,and I deleted my history but it still won't go away. How can I make it go away? Usually I'm good with computers but I just can't figure it out! Help!

the drop down menus [ i have a mac ] are usually
in the finder... so if you have the menu in the finder then you should just be able to drag it to the trash. But if your not a mac user i'm terribly sorry.. i tried..

omgosh you are really good at giving advice. this is really confusing. all three of them came to my party and it was fine and we had alot of fun. she didnt get mad until the next week.carters gf, christina, is trying to get carter to not talk to me, and tami already isnt, im not sure why tho. yeah ive been continuously told to "get new friends because im too cool for them, and that theyre too involved in stupid drama" but its hard, i mean theyre my best friends and there arent that many people you can just "be new friends with" you know?

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. It's so hard to get rid of the old, and in with the new. That's how life is, It's hard. I'm not saying to get new friends, because I personally don't know either of them.
Tami- She seems like a follower. I think that she followed Christina, and stopped talking to you, which isn't a very good friend. You want leader friends, who wont turn their backs on you when you need them most.
Christina, or your friend- She doesn't seem like the nicest person to deal with when she's upset, but I can't put either of them down, because once again, I personally do not know them and I wouln't want people critiziing me when they don't know me, or what i'm like. But from the looks of it, Christina is definatly a leader.
As for her trying to get Carter against you also, that is just plain wrong. It's one thing to be mad at someone, it's another thing to get others mad at them also. This here is a test of friendship. I think that Carter is a good friend, as i've been saying throughout this conversation, I can just tell. But this is a real test for him, Friend over girlfriend. You don't want to pressure him because pressure is bad for guys, girls can handle it better than guys. But you dinfatly don't want to pressure him, because he's got enough of that with Christina. But you can try and help Carter see it your way, not just what Christina says.
True, you might be too cool for them, but it doesn't mean give up when times are hard, it means work harder for what you want. and if what you want is your best friends to stay best friends, then you need to work for it. Don't be Pushy, and don't be rude. Keep your cool if you ever confront her, if she doesn't talk to you, don't try talking with her yet because she's not cooled down yet. Once again, girls need to cool down, be alone, just a little time to think. maybe soon she'll realize how a boy can't affect her friendship with you.

hey i asked that question before about my guy friend. thanks for your advice, you got really detailed. the problem is i dont think they will be going out for that long, but you never know.. you know what i mean? no she hates me because like last weekend i was supposed to be hanging out with my friend tami and my guy friend and tamis boyfriend, whos best friends with my guy friend. tami suggested we invite my guy friends new gf(before she was) because the three of us are friends. and i just said she shouldnt, because i didnt want to spend the night with her two nights in a row (because i was having my bday party the next night, with alot of people) and i felt like if it was the 5 of us i would get left out, even though tami said i wouldnt. so i guess tami told her and now they both wont talk to me. and my guy friend, carter, says he will do anything to get us to be friends again, even tho i told him not to because he really wants us to be. but now this whole liking thing has just thrown everything up, and i feel like im loosing my 3 best friends all at once.

Well, this is a really confusing situation your in eh..
well... Your right about you never know how long some people might go out for.. because they might just like the rush of having someone to call their own, almost like a pet. It makes people feel good when they have a bf/gf because they know someone is there for them. Well, your friend, not tami, has some things she needs to work out. She needs to see things from your point of veiw. Was your friend invited to your birthday party? If so, she should completely understand why you didn't want to hang out, but if she wasn't she has a reason to be upset. Was Tami invited to your birthday party? because if SHE was, your other friend might be upset because you would be hanging out with Tami two days in a row. So, she needs to see things your way, and you need to see things her way. It's a normal feeling to not want to be left out, I get it all the time and I tend to forget about how I treat others when I don't want to be left out, I leave others out. So you had all the right in the world to not want to be left out, because I bet you nobody else wanted to be left out either. But, you never told Tami to not tell your friend, but knowing girls she probably left out a few important peices of the story. She probably just said she didn't want to hang out with you. But the real reason was you didn't want her to come because you didn't want to be sick of her before your birthday, right? As for Carter, he shouldn't be doing annnyyythhhinnng to help you two be friends again. no no no. Girls get very upset when people push them to be friends again, and the last thing you want to do is to make it seem like you told Carter to help you two be friends again, because that could result In your friend breaking up with him and her being mad at you, once again. As for the statement you feel like your losing all your best friends, you can prevent this. With girls, they need time to cool off, even if it's about a small thing. They need their space, their time. It seems to me that Carter is a very caring guy and you don't want to lose him. But as for your two girl friends. I wish I knew what to say for them. If Tami left out bits and pecies of the story, making your friend upset with you.. that's not a very great friend.. right? and if your friend got upset with you just because someone told her something... she didn't come to you to ask if what Tami had said was true. I am not saying to give up on Tami and your friend, but to talk with them. get everything straightened out.. but give your friend some room first.

Are you suppose to pop your pimples or not? And the same with Black heads? What are you suppose to do. I use this blackhead scrub stuff and it makes my blackheads bigger. Is that giving me a sign to pop them? I seldum get pimples with white heads. And usually I accident pop them. Is that bad?

Well, I usually do, which is really bad because they get the bacteria from your fingers in it, which results in them getting bigger and redder. I have this extractor thing... that like is double-sider and it pops your whiteheads and your blackheads. it works really good, then I put ance cream on it afterward because your pores are open after you pop them which helps the medicene work better

i sweat alot under my arms even though i put on deoderant.The docoter gave me better stuff to use but i still sweat is there anything i can do so i wont sweat there? i rate!!!

The best deordents are between 5-8 dollars.
it's like Dove? or something like that. I don't reccomend gels because they get on your shirts and make it seem as if you sweated even before you do anything active!

Well, if you've just started your period not long ago, maybe a year ago, your body is still getting used to the cycle. Don't be worried it will even out and you're cycle should be comming around on the day of the month every month!

im really good friends with this guy, like we tell eachother everything and talk all the time. yesterday he started going out with my best friend who decided a week ago that she hates me for no reason. and now he's suddenly thinking that i like him because "it fits into stories she tells" i told him i didnt but i dont know what to do. i really dont want our friendship to change,and im afraid it will. he says that no matter what it wont because of him going out with her, but i think now that he asked me that it might. Well, here's what I have to say to that.
I have a friend exactly like that. She's BEST BEST friends with a guy who's a really awesome guy and all, but he's a flirt, [ if you know what i mean ]. For the statement of not wanting your friendship to change, this might be hard because of what he said. If you really don't feel that way about him then tell him, but don't hurt his feelings! He might of said that for reassurance... maybe because he might like you. As for your friend, she randomly started hating you? Well friends come and friends go, they change aswell.. no matter how tight we hold on. But maybe this is just a phase. Maybe she thought that you might like "her guy" since she probably liked him before they started to date. Maybe she was being defensive of your guy friend. maybe over time with them going out it will stop, but if it doesn't ask your guy friend to ask her about what's going on, why she's acting that way. Try and not let what he said change your friendship because good friends are hard to come by these days. Keep the ones that mean most to you and don't let little things come in between yall.
