I am a freshman in high school and i recently lost my virginity and i know to use protection but my question is can you only get pregnant when you are on your period? or only when u are not?

You can get pregnant either time whether you're on youyr period or not and its easier when you're on you period too because your eggs become more easier to fertilize.

Yes, you can, in either case. Case in point, a former teacher of mine told a story about how her own parents had a doctor work out for them what time during her (cycle?
