some tips on how to go faster: keep yuor arms close to your body , sing them up and down not side to side.

your pain in the knees and ankles is probably from your feet my dad has feet problems and his ankle and knee problems are from that same with my stepmom

to go faster pick up your heels and run on your toes in short quick motions and shape your hand strait never in a fist dont look down and gradually pick up the pace.

Well for your ankles and knees try ice or even wrapping them in sports tape or something like that.
To go faster you can try to build more muscle in your legs and when you start off, start off low and then work your way up. For your arms, dont swing them across your body, make them go straight out and up.< this helps me alot!!
I hav a track meet this thursday for pole vaulting. I hope you do good on your meet!

to cure the knees and ankles - ice, ice, ice!! that helps the best. and you might want to go see the trainer at your school or your doctor if they get too bad.

my only tip to go faster is to work on your upper body strenght by doing push ups, pull ups, etc. the stronger your arms are, the better your arm drive, and the easier it is for you to drive your knees from the force of your arms. i know that sounds confusing, but it's really true - my coach taught it to us and it's worked really well.

good luck at your meet!!

For your ankles and knees, but like ace bandages to hold them because when you run your probably knock em out of place a little. I broke my ankle a while ago and it hurts really abd when I run so I use the ace bandages around it and it doesn't completely cure it but it helps a whole lot.

tips for running:
lean forward.. tilt your body diagonally. this will make you more airodynamic and it will help your speed. don't forget to run heel-to-toe.
I would get one of those comfortable pull on squishy braces for your knee and ankle, other than that, it might just be growing pains!

Well,
If you're running against wind [ ha, i learned this is Cross country! ] tuck your head in. Like pull it toward your chest. On hurdles,, eek I'm so sorry I'm just a sprinter.. but to go faster, pump faster and don't run flat footed

when i was running in high school, our coach would tell us to roll our feet from outer heel to the big toe, this will cut down on shin splints. apparently you are landing too flat footed. as for faster, try pumping your arms faster, and more prodominatly.
