How do you make all that stuff that appears when you type in stuff in a box like on Google? There's so much of them on my computer and I can't get it to go away. I deleted the cookies in my Temporary Internet Files, I deleted my Temporary Internet Files, and I deleted my history but it still won't go away. How can I make it go away? Usually I'm good with computers but I just can't figure it out! Help!
Asc answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 9:54 pm: If you use a Gecko based browser, there should be a way to clear that sort of thing. In Firefox, it's under tools->options->privacy->form information.
If you're using IE5, go get Firefox. Unless you're using OS X, in which case go get Safari. IE has really fallen out of use as a modern browser, as Microsoft can no longer update it significantly. It also has more security holes than a swiss cheese, but that doesn't concern most people. [ Asc's advice column | Ask Asc A Question ]
orphans answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 9:42 pm: press the down arrow and then the delete button (not the backspace), then just keep alternating the two to get rid of all of them :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]

therocketsummer answered Tuesday March 15 2005, 9:17 pm: well, I'm not sure what you're talking about..
the drop down menus [ i have a mac ] are usually
in the finder... so if you have the menu in the finder then you should just be able to drag it to the trash. But if your not a mac user i'm terribly sorry.. i tried..
.. really hope i helped. [ therocketsummer's advice column | Ask therocketsummer A Question ]
