Q: does anyone know any good romantic/comedy movies with cute celebrities? for example:John tucker must die.
thank you so much =]
I really like Head Over Heels - Freddie Prinze Junior's in that one. It's really funny - the main character is consistantly tongue tied, and she says the most ridiculous things...

Q: ok so letz call him chris. he lovez me nd i really do love him. even doe i don't act like it. he'z like my bestfriend. so the other day he got drunk and he fucked 3 gurls. but he told me. atleast i didn't hear it from some1 else. inoe it was supposed 2 be hurt but i wasnt. i was mad but he was drunk. so last night when he said something about this girl he loved and his broken heart it hurt me. i never thought he could hurt me i didn't know i let him get so close and i've known this kid for so long. i love him but i don't know what to do. he really thinks me and him r meant for eachother. he wants 2 be together. i'm scared. i don't know what 2 do.
Wait, so are you together already, or not?
If you're not, then he's single, and you have no real reason to be hurt by him messing around with other girls. I understand that you love him and you say he loves you, but if he hurts you so much, can he really feel those emotions? If he knows you love him, why would he talk about another girl he loved, who broke his heart?
You need to tell him that you don't want to hear about that stuff, and that it hurts you/bothers you when he mentions it.
If you two are already together, then he needs to know that that is DEFINITELY not okay, and that if he wants to be with you, he's gotta prove that he won't do that kind of stuff anymore. Otherwise, I'd say he should kiss his chances with you goodbye - once a cheater, always a cheater. I hate to sound so cliche, but it's true. Guys never change, and you should never think you can change a guy unless he's in diapers.
Oh, and another thing - alcohol is NOT an excuse for anything. I have gotten completely wasted, and never did anything I wouldn't have done sober. You CAN control yourself when you're drunk, and anyone who says they can't is looking for an excuse to do stupid shit.
It's not okay, and don't let him think that it is, or that he'll be easily forgiven.
I'd leave, if I were you. It looks to me like he doesn't care about you nearly enough to keep you happy. He's not treating you well at ALL. You can give him a chance to redeem himself, but make sure he knows that if he doesn't, you're leaving. If he doesn't, you have to follow through with your threat, or it'll be meaningless.
Good luck!

Q: Even I don't know what to do.
O.K., my boyfriends of 9 months is the greatest guy I have ever met. We are planning to get married too. But there is a problem. His mother. A couple of days ago, he called me and told me that his mother told him to tell me to give her respect and to answer her when she says who is calling, or I can't talk to him, and he can't talk to me. Even though, I do give her respect, and she never answers the phone and asks me that, considering that I usually only call his cell phone. I want to punch her in the face like there is no freakin tomorrow. But I want to know what to do to figure out what she wants, why she hates me, what I did to her, and what I should do to solve this stupid pointless problem.
Well that sounds a lot like a situation I had with my last boyfriend. His mother absolutely HATED me (and still does), and I never figured out why. (Well, I figured it out, but I never heard it from her.)
I did, however, decide to confront her about it. I never got to, since we broke up, but the idea was still there. Lol
Anyway, I'm gonna take a wild guess and say she's threatened by you because you're gonna take her baby away from her. Does she know you're planning to get married? That's a big issue with mothers. My last guy's mom thought we were planning that when we weren't, and it made her hate me even more because she wanted to keep him close to her. She was afraid that if he latched onto me, she'd lose him. Chances are your guy's mom is worried about that, too.
If I were in your shoes, I would call his house phone and ask to speak to his mom. In this situation, I'd be very nice about it, and say something like "Mrs. [insert last name here, unless you're on a first name basis], I feel like there's been a lot of tension between us lately, and it's bothering me. I'd like to discuss what's going on sometime soon." That way, she'll see that you have a lot of respect for her (even if you hate her, at least TRY to pretend you don't. Trust me.)
During this discussion, keep your cool, and pretend to be little miss innocent. You've done nothing wrong, so you can't figure out what's wrong, and let her know that. Let her explain it to you, and if she can't, then she needs to know that there's no reason for her to worry, and there's no reason for her to dislike you. You've done nothing to hurt her, or her son.
Good luck!

Q: Ok well I have no idea how long should i leave the medicine on my sister's head. I was thining of puttign it on her and just washing it off before she sleeps because she moves everywhere when she sleeps and her cut is above the eye so the medication might go into her eye.

I found this website about it:
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/dermatix-gel-p_1434.htm

How long do you think I should leave it on?

Well On her I'm goign to leave it on from 6:30 til 9:00. Will that do anything at all?
Looking at the website, it seems like you're supposed to be able to leave the medication on. It's supposed to dry in about 4-5 minutes, and be applied twice a day. I didn't see anything on the site about washing it off.
The only way I forsee the medication going into her eye is if it breaks off into chunks, or something, and falls in. Doesn't seem likely, though, given the way the site described the usage.
Good luck!

Q: okey, my underarms are weird, they have like a verry deep indent in them, and i cant shave them because my shaver is too thick to fit, and ive tried a smaller shaver but it just doesnt work for me, i end up having to move the skin to a flatter area, and it hurts really bad, because the skin is really tender. i dotn know what to do. can you help please? what about nair for underarms doesnt that work? has anyone ever used nair? thanks so muchin advance
Take a look at a Nair bottle and see if it says not to use it under your arms. I think it just says not to use it in the bikini area, but I'm not totally sure.
I believe Bic makes smaller shavers for down there - you might try one of those under your arms. They're like, thinner and shorter.
Otherwise, try Nair or some other type of hair remover that's meant for sensitive skin.
Good luck =)

Q: 13/f ok so i like this boy lets call him T. since 6th grade. and mi friend has like him for 2 years. well she REALLY likes him. so she invited him to a party and he was the only boy tht showed up. and she likes him and he likes her. but i would ask him out before her if i wasn't short and fat and unatractive. kuz i really like him. becauce he is a good student sweet guy and just really nice. shes fianlly gonna ask him out tomorow. what do i? i hate being jealous because he is soooooooooo nice. and i REALLY like him!
please help me i really wanna ask him out, but i dunno what to do. please help!!! on how to act and what to do.
Ooh, this is a tough one.
Think about the consequences first. If you ask the boy out and your friend found out, she might get mad at you. If you ask him out and he says yes, she'll be REALLY upset.
On the other hand, if you don't ask him out, you'll probably be upset that you didn't, and jealous if your friend gets the guy.
But would you really want to keep your friend from getting the guy she likes? A guy shouldn't be the thing to tear apart a friendship. Though, you guys are 13. Boys do come and go - remember that.
Does your friend know you like him, too? If she didn't know before, and you tell her, she might reconsider asking him out in favor of keeping your friendship.
If I were you, I'd talk to your friend and be honest with her before she talks to the guy and potentially hurts your friendship and your feelings.
If you're really determined to just get there before she does, then be straight up with the guy. Tell him you think he's a really sweet guy, that you like him, and would like to go out with him. (Not necessarily in those words, but I'm a fan of blunt honesty. Lol)
Good luck!

Q: Okay, so their is this kid that I'm going out with someone. But i think i might like someone else. I mean i love this kid that i'm going out with but this other one is like really nice and everything but i don't know what to do. Help
If I were in your position, I think what I'd do is make a list of things I like about my boyfriend and things I don't like about my boyfriend.
Then I'd go and make a list of the same kind about the other kid. Weigh your lists, see who has more good things and who has more bad things.
Or (you can also do this in addition to the lists), take a week away from both of them, no calling, no IMing, no texting, etc, and see who your mind drifts to.
If you're attracted to someone else while you're with someone, the person you're with probably isn't right for you. Take it from me, I've been in the same situation and I wound up breaking it off with my fiance because my mind kept drifting to the other person.
Good luck!

Q: how do you add vibrato to your voice? i'm having a big problem with it.. advice from experienced singers please
DON'T force vibrato. It can be vocally damaging if you do it wrong. Your voice is a fragile thing, so be gentle with it.
Also, DON'T listen to pop artists nowadays for examples. They have no idea what they're doing. The only rock singer I've heard with good technique is Amy Lee from Evanescence.
Anyway, vibrato should come naturally to your voice if your throat is relaxed and your jaw is relaxed. The sound should spin, if it's supported correctly, and it resonates. I believe the resonation causes the vibrato.
You can't actually add it consciously unless you're doing it wrong. So just relax allllllll your muscles, use a LOT of air, and sing. I imagine you'll notice that your throat is tense. Try rolling your neck from side to side to relax your throat. It's hard to produce tone without vibrato when all your muscles are relaxed, and it actually takes more energy to keep the tone straight.
Unless, of course, you're young. If you're young, then your vibrato probably hasn't developed yet, and it will, so just give it a chance and don't rush things.
When asking about singing, it helps to tell us your age and gender. Age and gender are both big factors in singing.
Good luck!

Q: ok so im 100 lbs and in the 8th grade, and i want to be smaller. i used to be the thinnest of all... then i gained. i want to be the SMALLEST of everyone i know, and i know i can do it b/c i have before. i really want to become anorexic, PLEASE, ive heard all about how it screws you up and stuff, but i want ways to BECOME anorexic, not people telling me the dangers i already know all that. if youve been anorexic before, please tell me how you did it, b/c i want to be! i havent eaten all day and when i do, i just throw it up. i dont seem to be seeing much of a difference, so please tell me how to be anorexic.
Okay, this isn't what you want to hear, so go ahead and rate me down, but read it first.
I was anorexic for about four months before I realized I needed help. It was the worst hell I've ever put myself through.
I was 128 pounds. I'm 5'4", so that's really only 8 pounds off from my ideal weight. I was so desperate to lose it, though, that I would skip meals and eventually only ate when I felt like I was about to collapse. I drank a lot of water, though. I used to go days without eating, by accident, and then when I tried to eat something, I felt unbearably sick.
You know what results I saw?
None.
Absolutely none, except for the fact that I felt sick constantly, couldn't sleep, was depressed (yes, malnutrition can cause depression) and even felt bloated a great deal of the time. Not only that, but it made me hate myself even more than I had to begin with.
If you don't eat at least 1000 calories a day, your body goes into starvation mode, where it tries to store anything you put into it, and slows your metabolism. People who are anorexic usually wind up gaining a ton of weight because they can't speed up their metabolism.

If you really want to be small, what you want to do is realize that food is fuel, NOT YOUR ENEMY.
Eat something small every three hours. It speeds up your metabolism so you absorb good foods faster and use the nutrients better.
If you're to the point I was, where eating makes you sick, start by drinking diluted juice, then move to undiluted, then move to like crackers, and things that are easy on the stomach.
Aim for 1000 calories a day at least (eventually), but make it good calories, like fruits and veggies, as opposed to junk food that's high in calories and fat content.
I used to be about 138 pounds, I'm now 125, but I have a lot of muscle (which weighs more than fat). So I look like I'm about 120. I usually get about 1500 calories a day, which is LOW. Most people need at least 2000, and even more if you exercise.
Honestly though, if you don't have a tiny bone structure, you're not gonna be tiny. If you lose weight to the point that you look like a skeleton, you will not be attractive.
You might like it, but trust me, skeletal doesn't look good on anyone. I was underweight for awhile when I was in 9th grade, and I look at pictures of myself and shake my head.
Starting at 5 feet tall, you're supposed to weigh about 100. For every inch over 5 feet, you add five pounds and find your ideal weight.

PLEASE reconsider your method of slimming down. It's dangerous, and it really doesn't give you results.
I've gotten more results in size by working out for an hour every day and eating right than I ever did by starving myself and making myself sick. Healthy people are attractive. Think about that.
Good luck

Q: I used to be great at writing everything from essays to poetry to stories, but I lost my flare somewhere along the way.It used to come so naturally and everything that I wrote was good, but I took a break from it and now I just can't do it any more. Most of what I can come up with is mediocre at best, and when I do get on to something great it takes so much effort that it doesn't even matter to me.

Are there any exercises or anything that I can do to get my writing skills back up?
Freewriting. You're in the same predicament I am, I lost my like, flare.
I realized though that the way I was writing it was like I was letting go of myself and letting my subconscious and/or my characters just dictate to me.
Freewriting is a way to tap into your subconscious again and let go of yourself - because you can't stop, and you can't correct. It also helps me clear my mind.
Open up a blank word document and just start babbling. Set a time, or stop when you have a conclusion.
Good luck!

Q: what are some good techniques to put eyeliner on? like.. what part would u put it on? i know some people put it on the top, but i dont know how to do that. also, what color eye liners or eye shadows would look good with greenish/hazel eyes?
For your lower lid, you wanna use one hand (the one you don't write with) to pull down the skin, away from your eyeball (so you don't get the liner on it), and draw on the part between your eyelashes and your eyeball. If you want kind of a smokey look you can make a thick line, then use your finger (or an eyeshadow sponge) to blend it and spread it.
For your upper lid, I usually stretch my eyelid out sideways so the skin's taut, and then aim in between my eyelids. Then I use the eyeshadow sponge to smooth it and blend it.
I have green/hazel eyes, and I've been using brown eyeliner and eyeshadow. Gold is good, too (eyeshadow-wise) I think the brown color brings out the green, and it makes my irises look lighter. Black is also something you can use, and if you want to make your eyes look bigger, use a white liner on your lower lid.
Good luck!

Q: can anyone send me some really good and working really good DIET TIPS?
Some things to try:
Up your protein intake and lower your complex carb intake.
Aim for wheat rather than white (bread/pasta/etc.) if you have to have carbs.
Replace candy with fruit.
Replace chips with veggies and dip.
Chew sugarless gum.
Try to eat something small (like a plate of carrots and dip, or a few strawberries) every 3-4 hours - it helps speed up your metabolism. If you've had a few things to eat, but you still feel hungry, wait twenty minutes, then decide if you really want more food or not.
Listen to your body. If your stomach's grumbling, eat something small. If it isn't, and you ate something about an hour ago, chances are you don't need to eat again just yet.
Try to stick to servings of things if you can find nutrition facts on their packages. Aim for nonfat or lowfat everything.
As far as calorie count goes, you need at the VERY least 1000 calories a day. Most people get about 2000 or 2500.
Diet isn't everything though, if you really wanna lose weight, you might want to try exercising a little. Just walking around your neighborhood, even, will help.
The best thing you can do to help yourself and your diet is to have patience. Trust me.
Good luck!

Q: Ok, I'm trying to get good enough at writing so that I can get a book published one day. I'm working on writing a story now and I was wondering if anyone knew any sites that I can post it on and get reviews and ideas if people like it or not. I've found storywrite.com which I have not received any reviews on and fanfiction.net which what I'm writing isn't fanfiction. Also, does anyone know how to get published? Thanks....
Fictionpress.com is for original work. I have some of mine up there (pen name's Cali Vinett, if you're curious!), and it's been reviewed, etc.
To get good enough, you've just gotta keep going. I can almost guarantee that your first book will not be the one you publish, or at least not the first one. I'm in the process of completely rewriting the first book I wrote, simply because my ability grew as I continued to write, and by the time I wrote a second book, I didn't feel like the first one was good anymore. Of course, I'm a huge perfectionist, so you might be a bit different. ^_^
Anywho, I reccomend Fictionpress.com - I even had people review something I didn't intend to be reviewed there.
I suggest also that you tell your readers on your profile, or at the beginning of your story in a little author's note what your aim is in posting your work. Let them know you want honest reviews, not just "Wow this is great" or "You suck" and whatnot. People are more likely to give you details and what you want if they know how you want them to respond, kind of.
As far as the publishing process goes, you can self-publish, which costs hundreds of dollars. You can google that and find some legit sites to help you out with that, but make sure you ask a parent or a teacher to help you verify that it's valid.
Or, you can send out query letters (letters summarizing your book and why an agent would want to help you publish it) to literary agents, and if one of them decides that your book is worth trying to publish, they'll let you know. Then they'll take care of the getting it to a publisher part.
FYI - real literary agents NEVER ask for money upfront. Watch for scams like that.
Good luck!

Q: What hair straightener would you MOST recommend?
Not just a CHI because everyone has one; I mean a really good quality flat iron.
A Tourmaline? A Metropolis?
And if you do recommend a CHI, what make of it? The turbo? The original?
Thanks so much.
I have a ceramic wet-dry straightener by conair, and it's like, the best $40 investment ever. Like you don't even know.
My hair is THICK and WAVY, and amazingly hard to straighten. If you use it when your hair is wet, you can get your hair like, stick straight.
Wet-dry straighteners are, in my opinion, the best straighteners.
It's so great.
Good luck

Q: I have very, very thin fingernails. They are literally almost as this as paper- I can actually tear them apart.

Is there any way to make them thicker? If I take multivitamins every day, can I have thick nails?

Take calcium. I take 1200mg a day and my nails don't even bend. But you should take a multivitamin anyway.

Q: Isn't annoying when people type in run-on sentences and don't punctuate? It makes the question/statement difficult to understand and read. I can understand when people sometimes misspell words; but I hate when people don't even attempt at making themselves seem somewhat intelligent. It is bothersome when people type a response or question like its a text message. No, I'm not an English teacher if you're wondering. I am a sixteen year old female that is in high school.
I concur. I'm a grammar nazi and it drives me absolutely insane to see run on sentences. If I get them in my inbox I reject them, or ask the questioner to speak English instead of Babble.
Heh.
So glad I'm not alone in this.

Q: Would a college like straight A's and B's at a public school or B's and C's at a Private school better??
And do colleges like people who go to private schools better???

Thanks!
Colleges look at letters and GPAs, not the calibre of the classes you took.
Trust me on this - as someone who went from a private school getting Cs and Bs to a public school getting straight As, the As are better.
The admissions people at the colleges don't have the time or the will to research a private school and find out how good it is. If your GPA is a 2.5 and you went to a really good private school, and someone else's GPA is a 3.0 and they went to a public school, they'll take the 3.0 student.
Yeah I know, long-winded answer to a short question, but I felt like explaining.

Q: Hey, I asked about how to lose my voice.. can you explain that throat tightening thing please??
Thank you!
Okay, um...
Take a breath like you're about to yawn and put your throat. Feel something kind of drop in your throat? That's your larynx.
When you exhale from this, make a conscious effort to push that thing back up - it should make you kind of squeak with like a raspy kind of tone. Lock in that feeling, and try talking with that raspy tone of something blocking your airways.
Hope that helps. Kind of hard to explain it ^^
-Siren =)

Q: Ok someone please help. I'm in this play and at one point I'm supposed to lose my voice. My director told me to scream for a few minutes, but that's not working. Is there any other way to help "lose your voice"?? Please help!!
NEVER actually try to make yourself lose your voice. It's vocally damaging and a shockingly stupid thing for a director to tell someone to do.
Anyway.
If you like, tighten your throat and try to stop the actual sound from coming through when you speak so it's mostly air...or like, half whisper, half talk...Or just be really lazy about supporting your voice. Depends on how your director wants you to sound. If he wants you to sound hoarse, try the throat tightening thing. If he just wants you quiet, then be lazy about support.
Whatever you do, don't actually lose your voice unless you can't avoid it.
If you want like a better explanation of the tightening the throat, drop one in my inbox.

Q: so i started birth control about a month ago. i was just ending my period. i'm on allesse. so i started taking the pink pills.. and i started the green ones three days ago. i still dont have my period and there's no chance that i'm pregnant because i've never had sex. is this normal?
I imagine so. I'm on Yasmin 28, and I don't start my period until like, the fourth day of the placebo/sugar pills. It's always wednesday night or thursday morning. A couple of times it's been like, wednesday morning, but basically the same thing.
You should start it soon, If not, ask your gyno. They're there to help you, so ask questions if you're not sure.
