advice

well you see m cousin had basucally sex with her cousin. Is this weird or kind of normal? She also says she masterbates a lot also. I don;t knaow whats wrong with her shes only 12! I really need help, what should i think, does she need help? Does anyonme know any other people kind of like this?

When a cousin haves sex with another cousin, that sounds pretty abnormal, unless she was going into desperation, and was getting uncontrollable sex drives. But people get sex drives at different ages.

When someone masturbates, they are just getting a sex drive. When people are sexually active, or get into their teenage years, some people get random urges to do sexual things. It's hard to understand somewhat, but you really can't stop her from masturbating if she enjoys it. There is nothing wrong with it.

You can try talking to her about how you feel though. I know the news sounds upsetting, but every one's different. Also I will say 12 is really young, but some get sexually active that young, and some don't get sexually active until their 20.

is it unhealthy to have less than 750 calories a day if you still get all your vitamins?

Every body is different. Usually it goes by how much you weigh and by how much you should eat. For example, people who weigh normal (like 110-120 lb for a 13-14 yr old) he/she might need 1,000 calories a day, whereas someone who is at the same age but weighs 170 might need 2,000 calories a day. It really depends how much you weigh, however, 750 sounds pretty below average unless if you are on a low-calorie diet.

Even taking all your vitamins from pills may not be the healthiest thing, since you also need natural vitamins, minerals, and antioxidents from certain foods such as fruits and vegetables to keep you healthy.

i don't want to gross anyone out, but this has been bothering me.

every once in a while i get a thick, almost mucus like discharge from my...let's say "nether-region" (im a female). it's an almost clear, but kind of white color.

does anyone know what this is?

It could be mass discharge, but if it has been giving off a bad smell (like rotten eggs or similar) or if it's been doing that for a long time, it could be a yeast infection or some kind of condition "down there". I'm not a Doctor but I recommend you go see a Gynocologist about it, because if it's been doing that for awhile, then it can be serious.

What are some ways to coop with depression? I'm seriously depressed and I don't like it. But I refuse to go to coucilling so keep that in mind.

I have been through the same thing. What helped me with my depression was hanging out with friends and family more. It was hard for me because when I get depressed I tend to be more introverted but socializing really gains happiness.

Also, listening to soothing music. Heavy metal or emo music can just irritate you even more. Classical music or something along those lines can loosen you up.

Go out for a walk either alone or with someone you are really close to and just talk. Talk about what's been bothering you recently. Opening up relieves your mind, and knowing somebody is actually listening can cheer you up.

Also what can be great is to find your inner-child and go out and play some sports. Exercising relieves depression and stress.

Also, writing down what's been bothering you lately. Write down the specifics of what has been making you so mad, or so hurt. But also try writing down some advantages of your life. Like you could say you are thankful you have friends that do care about you, family that cares about you.

Find an escape to your depression. More of a positive one, such as playing some video games or watching a good comedy can make you feel better.

The only things I can possibly think of is that your chest could be irritated from something, or if it's really dry (which can cause itching)

Or perhaps it could be the clothes you wear. Some clothes irritate the skin.

Another factor would be the detergent you are using. Some detergents can irritate the skin. If it's the case, there are detergents out there for sensitive skin.

Other than that, you should go see a Dermotologist if these don't apply to you.

ok, i had sex a little over a week ago and im supposed to be getting my period in a week. How earliy can i notice signs of maybeh me being pregnant? and what are those signs?

You will probably not see much signs until 2-3 weeks. Maybe within a month. But even if you do get symptoms, it could be not much to worry about. Some times when girls have sex, they often get irregular periods. This doesn't mean anything until you get tested for being pregnant. But within those 2-3 weeks, try looking for: morning sickness, random feeling of nausea throughout the day, tiredness, sore breasts, and rapid mood swings. These are symptoms of pregnancy.

For things you may be interested in for under $100:

1)Any CDs you are interested in? Like your band or singer? ($ range 10-17 dollars)

2)Are there any video games you would like if you have an Nintendo or PlayStation (1,2,or 3) ($ range 10-40 dollars)

3)Are there any movies you like? Whether DVDs or VHSs? ($ range 5-40 dollars)

4)Are you interested in buying a CD player or MP3 player? A lot of CD players can go as low as 5 dollars, whereas an MP3 player down to 20 dollars. ($ range 5-80 dollars)

5)Perhaps ask for money, or a gift card to some where, such as a store you like. Doesn't sound like a vital need but this could help solve the problem for what you want/need and the budget to get things for people.

For things you can get for other people, you could always make things for them. Sounds dull, but that's what I did, and people told me they looked like I bought them.

For under 10 dollars, you can buy construction paper, stickers with quotes on them, and little decorations to paste on paper. You can design christmas cards, decorating them with stickers and crafts. Personally, I think that when some body takes the time and effort to make something like that I would feel special because buying expensive things doesn't sound as personal as they would if you actually made the gifts.

What I also have done was buying candy, and putting them in little holiday bags, sending them around to every body. That can be done under 8 dollars.

I went through the same thing when I got my kitten.

For food I highly recommend Purina Kitten Chow. It's high in vitamins and it contains vital antioxidents for your kitten's growth. My cat loved it when she was a kitten!

For boy kittens names, I personally like:

*Midnight
*Star
*Stripes
*Gizmo
*Doodle
*Wally

I have the exact same hair. My hair is really thick, coarse, and curly. So I highly recommend Conair Straighteners -- the ones with the ceramic plates. It's amazing! It straightens out my hair in minutes and it's great. I bought it for 30 dollars but I see them down to 15 in many grocery stores.

This is a weird question, but does it matter to girls if a guy shoots or not and how much is ejaculated?

Personally, It matters if it's inserted in the vagina. When you ejaculate during sex it's a big deal. Especially to the woman, since there is a possibilty of fertilization.

If you are ejaculating from masturbation, or wet dreams, then it really doesn't matter - no matter how much you ejaculate.

Isn't 1st hand smoking worse than 2nd hand smoking?

2nd hand smoking is worse than 1st hand smoking.

Reasons why are that cigarettes contain filters; Your lungs don't. So you are intaking poisonous gases, such as Carbon Monoxide. Enough of it can instantly kill you.

When someone is smoking a cigarette, the filter is blocking out many ingredients (that are actually poisonous like tar), supplying them mostly nicotine (the addictive substance). A 2nd hand smoker is breathing pretty much every other ingredient in the cigarette.

So it proves the theory that 2nd hand smoking is worse.

It's probably because it's too tight on you, or it was wrongly inserted.

You really should contact your Orthodontist (dentist) and see if he/she can fix your problem.

Unless you are new to your braces, it's normal they'll hurt at first, and a new wire can do the same, so give it about a week first.

If it persists or worsens for a week or two, check with your dentist just to be assured it's normal and you'll be OK.

Hi. I love my body. I am a little shorter than 5 feet and about 90 pounds. I DO it like I am supposed to. Sure, I'm skinny. I love my butt, my boyfriend loves my butt. The whole world does. :]

No matter what kind of exercise you do, it will burn fat throughout your whole body.

You can do crunches, which mainly, not completely, helps burn fat on the stomach. Start off with 5-10 crunches a day and slowly increase. Doing 60 of them or whatever can cause cramps, and you'll want to stop. Doing a little and slowly increasing can keep you in shape, and prevent most chances of cramping of the stomach (or pulling muscles).

If it's more for temporary reasons, there are products out there, like stomach pads, that can slim your stomach (temporarily), making it flat and looking flawless.

I'm a girl and whenever I shave "down there" my skin is really rough. I use Skintamate (Sp?) shaving cream and I do it in the shower.

Are there any ways to get a more smooth shave with less bumps and roughness?

Inevitabally, you'll get those bumps no matter what you do. Unless you wax it off (painful, but a more effective process). First, use a trimmer, and trim the hair off. This is helpful for two reasons: 1) It helps you see better what you are doing, so you don't mistakenly cut, and 2) It reduces bumps since you are not shaving as much as you would without trimming it. Also, with shaving cream, you would want to use some that are high in aloe and vitamins. Aloe smooths the skin, and the vitamins to moisturize the skin back. Also, first shave with the hair, and for best results, don't shave all off at once. Shave off another centimeter off, and wait a couple days (so the bumps will go down). Then shave it off against the hair. Do it slowly; not quickly. Also, when you are done shaving, no matter what (like I said earlier) you'll still see a little redness. Buy some Aloe Vera gel (same stuff you use for sunburn) and apply it on. This reduces any inflammation like the bumps and redness. The redness will fade off within a day or two.

I have an important event I have to attend tomorrow night. My hair is very curly, but I straighten it often. I have VERY short layers, but my hair comes down to my chest. How can I get my hair SUPER straight? Like, what can I do to make everything straight and withstand a night of cold blowing winds?

I have the same kind of hair. And whenever I want it super straight, I usually take a shower or bath, shampooing and conditioning my hair at least twice. Then let it air dry. Once it's only a bit damp, blowdry your hair, while brushing it out. Once done, straighten your hair. And to keep it there, I use really strong hair spray.

If you don't have a blow-dryer, just air dry your hair, leaving a little conditioner in your hair and straighten it out.

Gyno is short for Gynocologist. Most people say "Gyno" because it's faster to say.

When you go to the Gyno (from what a friend told me) It may hurt, but everyone is different. For her it didn't so much. But probably because she is sexually active, so her vagina is larger than to someone who isn't sexually active.

What Gynos do, they evaluate you, ask you questions, and see if you are having any reproductive problems that you suspect. Then they stick a tube into you, seeing if there any thing that is a potential problem to your body. They detect HPV, certain cancers, and STDs. They also detect if you have any tumors or cysts in the uterus.

Try not to be nervous when you go to the Gyno, because when you are nervous, your muscles tighten (including the vagina), and it's harder for the Gyno to help you out. Stay calm, and you'll be fine! There's not much to worry about!

Well foremost, don't freak out because it can make the worry worse. In a lot of cases, after having sex you can probably get irregular periods, whether little or no bleeding. Whether pregnant or not, it happens. It would make all the difference if you took a pregnancy test. Take one ASAP. If you are pregnant, you can always take birth control, or get an abortion. Have you been getting morning sickness? Any kind of other nausea? Maybe rapid mood swings? These are signs of pregnancy. If it's just irregular periods, then you are most likely not pregnant. However, go the safe path and take the test now. Whichever result you get, there are always ways to fix it and get your period regular again. It's common. So don't worry!
