i don't want to gross anyone out, but this has been bothering me.
every once in a while i get a thick, almost mucus like discharge from my...let's say "nether-region" (im a female). it's an almost clear, but kind of white color.
jenn-hansen answered Tuesday December 19 2006, 1:30 am: It is completely normal if it does not smell. It should be a clear odor-less muscus discharge. This usually occurs about two weeks before the start of your period, each person is different but just watch it and take note. That way you are more prepared for your period. Don't worry about. But just be careful and aware of your body...because if the mucus changes you may have a yeast infection of some other medical issue. [ jenn-hansen's advice column | Ask jenn-hansen A Question ]
PunkieFreak4690 answered Sunday December 17 2006, 1:13 am: It could be mass discharge, but if it has been giving off a bad smell (like rotten eggs or similar) or if it's been doing that for a long time, it could be a yeast infection or some kind of condition "down there". I'm not a Doctor but I recommend you go see a Gynocologist about it, because if it's been doing that for awhile, then it can be serious.
