Also, listening to soothing music. Heavy metal or emo music can just irritate you even more. Classical music or something along those lines can loosen you up.
Go out for a walk either alone or with someone you are really close to and just talk. Talk about what's been bothering you recently. Opening up relieves your mind, and knowing somebody is actually listening can cheer you up.
Also what can be great is to find your inner-child and go out and play some sports. Exercising relieves depression and stress.
Also, writing down what's been bothering you lately. Write down the specifics of what has been making you so mad, or so hurt. But also try writing down some advantages of your life. Like you could say you are thankful you have friends that do care about you, family that cares about you.
Find an escape to your depression. More of a positive one, such as playing some video games or watching a good comedy can make you feel better.

Have a deep conversation and really "let go" of a lot of emotions that you may usually keep hidden. It really helps to have someone there to always support you and just be there to listen to your problems. Just talking about your problems can solve a lot more than people think. =] [ fish34's advice column | Ask fish34 A Question ]
