Q: How do you know when your in love? When i see this guy i get the butterflies and my heart starts racing. I get all excited and hyper. I can never take my mind off him and i get depressed when i don't see him. He's my boyfriend now, but i just wanted to know if i am really in love.

personally i think that you aren`t. because if you were truly in love.. you wouldn`t have to ask. you would just know. just listen to your heart and you`ll know what you`re feeling.

Q: OK i had a boyfriend but he was a geek and i think i am pritty good looking but none of the guys i know think that i am . and i never get anything from the guys from school and i have blond hiar (long dirty blond) i have blie eyes and i am athletic and i love animals i have some and i just need some advise. how can i get guys to like me?

be yourself. don`t worry about what people think about you. mostly hve confidence. guys notice you by the way you present yourself. so be confident in yourself. oh and don`t worry if guys like you now because i`m guessing you`re young. true love waits so don`t rush it.

Q: I'm really interested in learning to eat more healthy...I am at a good weight right now and I want to stay there, so I'd like to know how I should eat. Fad diets are stupid, they don't last, they don't work. Healthy, well-balanced eating is what you can stick with for life. This may sound a little weird, but I'm not quite sure what healthy eating IS. Like...can someone give a sample menu of a healthy day of eating. Are snacks ok? Like, if you want to maintain your weight, what should you be eating. (I'm a 5'5 female who is 125 pounds.)

they`re coming out with a new food pyramid. it`s already been created. try to find the new guide on google or in a library. snacks are ok just make sure they`re nutritious (fruits, vegetables, etc.).

Q: you see,i have a lot of friends i guess. i have one best friend and i dont know...my lifes pretty good, but ive lately wanted a boyfriend.. ive had a few before it just didnt work out that long. but anyways, what do you give a guy for valentines if you dont date but u want to make it sorta clear your interested in them?

nothing. just tell him how you feel. to me, that`s better than anything that comes in a box. or maybe you could start a journal/diary and give it to him on valentines day.

Q: does anyone know ways to get over boys that you really LOVE?

love doesn`t just go away. you can`t tell yourself to stop loving someone. just get a lot of support from your friends and when you need to cry.. just cry. don`t hold in your feelings or you`ll end up depressed. my suggestion would be to get some closure. talk to the guy and make sure you both know the reality of it all. get rid of things that remind you of him. and take all the moral support you can get.

Q: i've been really depressed lately and i cut myself and i really really want to tell somebody because its been getting out of control and i don't want to do something i am going to regret so should i tell a counselor teacher friend or what?

i suggest a youth pastor. mine really helped me when i was in that situation. or if you don`t attend church, try a Christian friend or teacher/counselor. don`t keep this to yourself but only tell someone you trust.

Q: for about the last couple of months, i have headaches everyday and they last almost all day. i feel like fainting and i get dizzy alot. i don't have much energy and i've been loosing weight recently. when i really don't need to. i'm tired all the time. butb it's not because i'm not getting enought sleep because i sleep alot. im really scared and i told my mom and she's getting me and appointment. even my boyfriend is worried. he's the one who told me to tell someone. i was just wondering if it sounded cancerous. and if it does please tell me what kind off cancer it sounds like. im really worried. please respond fast.

Q: Okay so yes I have winter formal coming up on Saturday night. I got my dress and shoes, then I realized: I have no freakin clue what to do with my make up. My normal style of make up would look horrid with it. I have light blonde hair, blue green eyes and fair skin. My dress is an offwhite color with gold stitching in the top. Anyone have any ideas?

use a skin colored foundation and light pink blush. use a light eye shadow (maybe brown or goldish), brown eye liner, and maybe a little mascara. try to really open up your eyes. also use lip gloss but not too much, just enough to make them glossy. have fun though!

Q: okay... well me and a few of my friends are starting a band, and allison wants to play guitar but she has no friggin clue what shes doing!(iv'e been playing guitar for a few years and she just started like last week) and she was going to be a singer in the first place, but i have no clue how to tell her that she doesn't know how to play guitar, and NO i can't just go up to her and say "you can't play guitar" or "you suck" because i'm not the kind of person that can do something like that. help please!

butter her up. be like "you`re such a great singer, you should sing lead instead." just make it sound like you really want her to sing vocals, instead of making it seem like you really wanna play guitar.

after you get it out of the washing machine, instead of hanging it out to dry, put it in the dryer. shirts always shrink that way.

Q: i have been trying to do crunches for about 3 weeks and my stomach didnt really get any smaller. does any one know how many crunches to do in a day or does any one know what other techniques that will work to get a flatter stomach

i`ve found that doing 50 crunches every morning and 50 crunches every night works pretty well. make sure you have your legs off the ground, making a right angle. trust me it really does make a difference. give it some time and it`ll become noticeable. i hope your stomach gets flatter.

Q: Okay my last question was about my period coming every 2 weeks..A lot of you replyed I havent 'straightened out' becuase im to young..but i've had my period since i was in 6th grade..and im now im 10th. its been regular up until a few months ago...So whats wrong lol

i wouldnt be too upset about it. i suggest going to the gynocologist and maybe hell give you birth control pills or patches. i dont think you need to get worried, just go to the gyno.

after french kissing is making out. then theres fingering, handjob, oral.. etc. but my suggestion is dont go past making out until youre married. save yourself for your husband.

Q: I think it would be considered as molestation but..what are like some signs of maybe molestation?? My dad seems to be touching me just like a little more then he ever has..I mean not in my "places" but he will just rub my shoulders or something?? personally i dont think that would be considered molestation. if he starts touching you in certain unmentionable places, you need to tell someone. i dont think you have anything to worry about.

Q: my friend janet told me that she cant stand living with her mom any more and that she wants to leave her house as soon as possible..cuz her mom doesnt believe any of the things she tells her(its a long story)...does anybody know any numbers she can call that are related to this sort of situation? thanx a lot!

well im guessing she isnt 18 yet. she cant just up and move out, unless she has a good reason. if her mom is abusing her, physically or emotionally, call DHR. if its not abuse, she needs to talk with a counselor or close relative. continue to be there for her and offer to let her come over often.

Q: my friend jessica is going out with some guy that is 27 and shes only 12(shes been sleeping with him too)!!! my friends and i keep telling her that its considered rape and that he probably wants her just cuz of her body and just wants her for pleasure, cuz what would a guy that old want with her? we tried to explain it to her a lot, but she wont listen...what should we do?

continue to talk to your friend about this. you cant give up. have faith and make sure she knows you really do care about her and youre just worried. about her mother, i think someone should call DHR. im not kidding. abuse is serious. does she have grandparents or an uncle or someone she could call? she needs to get out of that house. just pray for her and keep talking to her about it.
