I need make up advice?

Question Posted Thursday January 20 2005, 5:35 pm

Okay so yes I have winter formal coming up on Saturday night. I got my dress and shoes, then I realized: I have no freakin clue what to do with my make up. My normal style of make up would look horrid with it. I have light blonde hair, blue green eyes and fair skin. My dress is an offwhite color with gold stitching in the top. Anyone have any ideas? <3

Since you didn't specify what kind of dress you got, I came up wityh three simple ideas.

wild- Try blue mascara and iridescent eyeshadow, light pink cheeks and a purpleish pink gloss.

classic- Try black eyeliner, lengthening black mascara, a dab of blush and deep red lips.

girly- Try black mascara, shimmer eye shadow, pink cheeks and lips

Definitely go for gold!!!

It will match your hair colour and the stitching in your dress - also if you can get one a very fine gold necklace - this will make your neck look longer, and your collarbone more defined.

Use a little bronzer to highlight your cheeks instead of a red/pink blusher.

I would also go for clear high shine lip gloss.

Take care and have a great time!!!!

Were gold eyeshadow on top. That would be cute. Light brown eyeliner with a bit of blush-trix

For this dance, I would go with a pale color for eye shadow. Possibly one that would go with your dress. Use colors such as tan, light pink, and so on. Use a little bit of blush and a light color of lip gloss. Hope my advice helps!

Definitly go with gold colors, because they'll accent your dress. Maybe a little foundation that could darken you skin, but just a little, not too much. do like gold nail polish, and either light yellow-green eyeshadow, or gold. maybe a little blush, or glitter or sumthin. just try to go w/ your look, and however u r doing ur hair. Hope this helped!

use a skin colored foundation and light pink blush. use a light eye shadow (maybe brown or goldish), brown eye liner, and maybe a little mascara. try to really open up your eyes. also use lip gloss but not too much, just enough to make them glossy. have fun though!

Try some sparkles on your face and eyeshadow (gold colored) but otherwise a more natural look would probably look good. Dont overdo it, too much makeup is worse than none at all.
