I use Herbal Essence Conditioner and it works really well. How do you know when you've gotten it out so you can get out of the shower so your hair won't be oily looking because sometimes it looks as if I haven't washed it in a few days. Does anybody know? (link)

just rinse a lot. and it will feel kind of soapy is conditioner is still in. and if you get out and discover it isnt, just hop back in the shower quickly.

I was best friends with Kelly since 7th grade. We're in 9th now and we're still pretty good friends, not best friends but close. Well, she tells me all of her secrets and I never tell them. She says all the time to me and everybody else that I'm her most trustworthy friend, and she tells me that Brittany is very dishonest and lies to her alot. Anyways, Kelly did something really bad and she told me and Brittany and acouple of other people about it and made us promise not to tell. Her secret got out (one that everybody gossips about) and one girl, Julie, (who doesnt like me) tells Kelly that I told everybody the secret. I honestly didn't tell anybody. Now Kelly won't even talk to me, she won't even let me explain to her that I didn't tell anybody. She won't talk to me about it at all. Do you think that she's just not a good enough friend to even try to hold onto, or should I keep trying to tell her the truth? Ill rate if you ask :o) thanks (link)

Okay so yes I have winter formal coming up on Saturday night. I got my dress and shoes, then I realized: I have no freakin clue what to do with my make up. My normal style of make up would look horrid with it. I have light blonde hair, blue green eyes and fair skin. My dress is an offwhite color with gold stitching in the top. Anyone have any ideas? Try some sparkles on your face and eyeshadow (gold colored) but otherwise a more natural look would probably look good. Dont overdo it, too much makeup is worse than none at all.

Alright my friend is so happy with her boyfriend they have been together for 5 years and are getting engaged... well whenever i hang out with them i kind of get jealous and sad because the way they act.. i wanna be loved too.... and i love this one guy, not my friends boyfriend another guy. and he acts like he likes me I mean holding my hand kissing me... ect. But... it makes me want my guy even more when I am with my friend and her boyfriend... I miss him so much.. but I dont wanna make my friend mad what should I do?? (link)

Well, sounds to me like you and the guy that you like are doing pretty well....holding hands and kissing ain't too bad...But, if you really feel "unloved,"try giving yourself some space from your best friend and her boyfriend. ...But dont completelt abandon them. Simply focus on the direction that your own life is headed in rather than dwell on how it compares to other people's.

Well I have this best friend I have known since 1st grade. We were always together. Well as we got older we started not to talk. And now that I am in Jr. High I never even see her all that much. Well just not that long ago, I heard some news about her that really hurt my heart. She has been involved with drugs. And when I say drugs I mean the really bad stuff. The next day I pulled her aside and told her how much I was worried and that if she needed help I was willing to give it a try. But unexpected she took it the wrong way and started yelling and saying how I need to say out of her life and that noone can help her. And so I dont know what to do at this point! I really dont wanna see a best friend of mine ruin her life infront of me. What do I do??? (link)

This is a time where she needs you most, so no matter how much she tries to push you away, continue to pursue your friendship. And although it may seem to kill your friendship now, her parents need to know about this. If you cant get her to tell them herself, you or your parents should tell them. The best way for her to get help is through her parents. However she treats you, be supportive.

Okay, this may sound really stupid, but I'm serious about asking this question. I'm a girl, I'm thirteen, weigh 105 pounds and I'm 5 foot seven. I'm so tall, and I HATE it! I wish I could stop growing! No offense to tall females, but I think that tall isn't really that flattering for me. My mom is always complimenting me on how tall I am, and I hate it so much! I don't want to be tall! She won't even let me drink coffee to stunt my growth! My doctor said that I might even grow to six feet! I don't want to be that tall! I hate my height already! I'd be happy to be 5 foot four! ARGHH please, is there anything I could do to 'appear shorter' or to stop growing?? (link)

i just went on a trip with my youth group.. and theres this kid there. i like him. but no1 knows.. we had a little connection in the past.. but we both driffted off for awhile. but this past weekend he was always around me.. my friedns say he was flirting with me. but idk. he was always wrestling me (not real wrestling) , he always would put his arms around my waist like example. eveytime i went into his room he would no just push me out.. he would like i said.. grab me around the waist and kinda hold me a few seconds then kinda pushed me out.. he would chase me around with snowballs trying to hit me..he would also take my stuff (only my stuff not my friends) and put it up his shirt and stuff. and when i had a problem he was trying to help me. i dont know if hes just tying to be nice and wants to be friends . or he likes me and was really flirting with me.. how can i tell if guys flirt? cause all guys flirt different. thanks for the help (link)

Ok my bff birhtday is coming up and shes turning 13 thats a big step in life. I dont know what to do for her birthday. I was thinking a suprise birthday but i dont know. She likes horses and Acting. I was thinking i could bring her to new york and we could see a broadway show but that might be to expensive. Any ideas?? I rate. (link)

If I were you, I would throw a surprise party. Talk to her parents about when you could set one up so that she will actually be able to come first. If you talk to them, they may even contribute some money towards it. Make sure you invite all of her friends (people you know SHE would want to be there to celebrate) even if you do not care for these people. Other than that, plan away!

ok so there is this guy and we used 2 be like bestest best frendz!! like we told each other everything and called each other everyday and when i wuz like scared er sumpin i would call him and he would tell me everything would be ok but over summer brake we didnt hang out once and he didnt call me at all but when we went bak 2 skool he started talkinn 2 me and jokein around with me again n stuff but then he met these other kids and started 2 hang with them and toatally forgot about me i want 2 get over him but i cant i cry over him sumtimes because i miss are frendship and im tierd of crying over him i dont think he is werth it but i cant stop!!! plz plz help me

My best friend always copies my looks! Like if i tell her ive found a certain store that i like to go to, she'll just one day start shopping there and tell all our other friends she found it first! And its not just like materials..she said that she liked matt -our crush- way before i did. But when i told her i liked him last year she said oh i think hes kind of ugly. maybe she just like how you are and wants to be like that. but is is really THAT bad?
if so, dont talk behind her back with other people. Simply tell her exactly what bothers you, be nice about it. Try pointing out something (like clothing) that would look great on her but you know would look bad on you. Then, if she doesnt get it, tell her.

bake sales (although most people only buy from them if it is for a good cause)
make some jewelry with beads etc.(and sell it)
offer to mow peoples lawns etc.

Im 13 years old and all my friends have boyfriends. I dont and Ive never had my first kiss. I mean i saw a ten year old making out at school. Thats just wrong. But i had a boyfriend and it was my friend. Well i saw him for one day i said yes then i didnt hear from him in like a month so i guess he broke up....Ok well any advice and dont say ur day will come. (link)

TALK TO HIM!!! Have you tried saying anything? and, is it possible that he likes you but just is as shy as you?
If he is as nice as he is cute, I am sure he would love to chat and get together with you some other time!
Aside from that, some 8th graders may feel uncomfortably developping a relationship with a 7th grader. If that is the way he is, then relax and let him just be your friend, it may turn out to be a great friendly relationship!

well i have two best friends ((Rachel and Rissa)).. well heres some back ground.. rachel hates rissa but rissa doesnt hate rachel.. but rachel stayed over last night and i wrote a letter to my mom saying that riss was comming over soo she was like.. okay ill have rachel go home!! soo then rachel gave me the silent treatment cuz she new that something was up!!! soo i couldnt tell her cuz i didnt know if rissa was even comming over ((we had planned her coming over for a while)) so then we got back to my house and rachel says I WANT TO GO HOME. soo she goes home and then all of a sudden i get a text message saying WE CANT BE FRIENDS AND MORE and i was like why and she never responded.. well i no she will get over it and everything but when shes mad.. she tells everything i told her.. and she has alot on me like stuff im not going to get into.. but its really bad if she tells the people which i think she will and i dont know what to do about this because i think this could be a lonnnnnng fight and she will tell people everything and i have a few things on her but she will just deny it.. i need help!!!!! I had two friends like that, and luckily, they are friends now.
But if you are not this lucky:
Do not ignore Rachel, but Rissa seems much cooler for not hating Rachel. Rachel needs to accept that you are friends with Rissa, and that it should not affect your friendship. Also, from what it sounds like (sorry but your letter is a bit confusing), you made Rachel go home after you invited her over. Think about what you have planned before making other plans to avoid even more difficult situations.
