I'm friends with at least 6 Athiest people. I don't really want to change them. It's just why doesn't people believe in God? My one friend say me wearing a cross to school one day and told me to take it off. I asked her why. She said some very unkind things about God. Then she said, How can God be real if he doesn't save anybody from death? I couldn't answer that. SI asked around and found out she wasn't always Athiest. She used to believe in God until her grandparents were murdered. Since me and my friends live in a town with drug dealers, malesters, and murderers, it's common for people to get hurt, but i'm not scared of the people in my town, but my friend scares me saying too many rude things about God. I'm an atheist, a strong onee... but I don't want to change you.
I just find it hard to believe in something that hasn't been proven, especially with all the terror going around in the world and all the unfairness. Like starving children in Mayalsia, and the racism in Darfur and those killings.
So what is God doing now?

But WEAR the cross if you want it. I actually want a tattoo of a cross on my ankle, even though I'm actually very anti-religion. I think its cool.
just like you said up there "I don't really want to change them" your friends shouldn't want to change you. So tell them that they will have to learn to accept your differences, and you can even say that your not trying to make them believe in god and jesus and all that crappp.
You should always think about the other person, just like she should have thought about you when she said take off the cross.

I am a Christian but my entire group of friends is not. I want to tell them about Jesus or my faith, but I constantly find myself afraid of their disapproval, but I need to because it won't be long before I become tempted to go against my beliefs. How do I make my stand? (link)

Honestly, I'm very big into the "atheism," and I wouldn't want my friends trying to convert me. If someone was constantly trying to, I wouldn't want to hang out with them anymore, and I would think they were so rude.
Now I'm not saying this is the case for youuu, but you should just keep that in mind. You need to loike respect their boundaries. Anyways, don't worry about going against your beliefs, because if your friends are good friends, they wouldn't do anything that would make you comfortable.
Finally, if religion IS really important then you, then you should just try to find friends that share your Christianity. That would be easier than trying to convert them.
But if you feel like you need to convert them (I suggest strongly against it thoughh...) just slowly tell them about jesus and god or whatever, but not in a forcing way. And especially don't say things like "jesus and god are SO great, and better than any other religion" Being condescending like that is a sign of ignorance and rudeness, so steer away from that. Also, be respectful of other religions. For example, never say "god and jesus are better than Bhudda" or anything like that. Thats the same thing as respecting their views. Like I completely don't believe in jesus or god, and I think the whole idea of religion is kinda ludicrous since there is no proof of it, but I'm not going around saying that =]
Oh yea, and also, having friends like this with different views makes up good debates if you like that. I kinda like that haha.

I have been dating a guy for over a year, and i love him. The thing is I think I'm falling for this other guy too. I dont want to admit but im starting too...
i know its wrong.
and the guy im dating now- i ask him a lot of questions- and one day i asked him what would he do if i told him i was in love with two people and he was one of those people. he told me he would want me to choose who i wanted. i asked him,"what if it wasnt you". he told me as long as i was happy he would want it for me.
that makes me feel bad and love him even more.
is there a way to stop falling for this other guy?

but you should choose on who you like more. if you do love your boyfriend, then theres that, and i doubt you love this guy you dont date...
but like he said you should do what makes youuu happy
just keep this in mind if your relationship isnt boring yet, like you know how sometimes couples just get bored of each other and so they have to break up? well if this isn't the case then i wouldn't break up. you wouldn't want to throw away a relationship that youve had for a year unless your completely sure about what you want your decision to be

then someones expression is just like blah. and not much emotion like staring blankly ahead.

When I'm stoned I have glazed eyes, they're glazed and pink like glazed donuts. not really bloodshot and veiny. They look kind of smooth. My friend says I smile a lot, but personally I don't feel happy. Just a side effect of being numb and stupid I guess.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the smell of smoke from items such as clothing? but not with perfume and stuff so people know you are?
because my friends smoke, and its their decision but I hang aorund them and i don't smoke. and when I go home and my parents smell my lcothes, they'll think that i smoke when i odn't and i can't change clothes because they'll remember what i wore before i left (link)

if they were to smoke outside, the circulation of fresh air will prevent anything smelling like smoke, like your hair, or clothes etc. if they smoke inside, tell them to try to smoke near to a window or get some fresh air in the room by opening a window really wide.

you should spend it, but WISELY.
like only buy things youll want. and then you can save up because college is expensive. like over the summer this year, get a job. you dont have to spend ALL your money though, try to save some =]

for tinypic.com, use either the

or the
[[ Direct Link for Layouts: ]]
they both work.
but, if you see a pic somewhere like on a xanga or google images for exapmle, what you do is your right click the picture, and then go down to properties (very bottom). then you just highlight & copy the "Address: (URL)" link

alright, i smoked weed a month ago back. i hit a gravity bong, and it was my second time ever getting high.
long story short, i think i murdered my memory. and unless if i "lock something in" i can't remember it, so like im not able to remember where i put my cell phone or wallet.
also, if im not preoccupied, my mind wanders, and i can feel like im having an out of body experience.
i have quit intaking all substances that are harmful, quit eating chips and junk food.
any sure shot way to get my memory back, or to at least trick myself into at least thinking im fine? (link)

Pot isn't really harmful in moderation, it kills brain cells, but not enough for you to notice in such a short term. For pot to effect your memory you would need to do it consistently (3-4 days a week over a long period of time). The bad thing about pot is The Gateway Theory. It's the theory (yes a scientific theory, and also shown with much experience) that a person who does drugs is more likely to take something more dangerous. like meth, heroine, cocaine. It's something like 5-15%.
Maybe your just noticing that your memory is not so good, just because your more aware. Now that you've done pot.
If you want to do research you can, Wikipedia has a nice article on marijuana. My family was seriously involved in drugs. 2 of my uncles, and my dad were dealers.
I'm not saying pot is bad... but it leads to worse things. I wouldn't worry about smoking only twice. Moderate it to only the weekends an you should be fine.
