I just started playing tennis about 2 months ago and i decided to try out for my high school team. But now im not so sure if i should try out or not because all the other girls have been playing there whole lives. Also does anyone play tennis and have any tips for serving?
Give it a shot. We only have a varsity team at my school, so our coach usually keeps everyone. I'm not on varsity but the other girls and I go to all the matches and practices and get to play matches against the other girls on the other teams. The games don't count for the school team score, but it is a lot of fun. You could really learn alot from the other girls on the team, and then have a good chance of making the team next year. As for serving my best advice would be to take your time. Also practice throwing the ball Straight up and high, that way you have enough time to hit it on the way down. Don't worry about serving at 78 MPH just worry about getting it in the service box.

Is there really a difficult rope awaiting inside every high school gym? i am horrified of "the rope" I COULD NEVER CLIMB THAT THING!!!
I can't climb it either, so don't feel too bad. Infact my high school doesn't even have one. We had one at our middle school but even then you weren't forced to climb it.

ok so last night i have this guy come over to my house and we were makin out and shit and he then started to finger me. It got harder and harder. He fingered me so hard tht i was hurting after wards and i didnt tell him to stop goin so hard because i didnt want to look stupid. it even hurt when i had to go to the bathroom. well i thought it was just the one night thing. but now im hurtin again and still when i go to the bathroom.. if anyone has any advice on what this good be or if its normal. everything is appreciated.
It's normal for it to hurt for the first couple of times if you are a virgin. Next time just tell the guy that it hurts and to not go so hard.

No one is perfect, you just need to be yourself. Infact lots of guys love when girls are themselves. And when you are with someone who really loves you they see your flaws and accept you for who you are. The "Perfect" Boyfriend will love you unconditionally, so then it works vice versa. If you are yourself and accept your guy for the way he is unconditionally then in my eyes you are being the perfect girlfriend.

I have a decent-sized range from the D below Middle C to the D three octaves higher. But how can I tell if I'm an alto or soprano? My registers sound like two different people. My chest voice is hard, rough and very powerful. A bit like Patti LuPone, if you know who that is. And my head voice is clear and bright, like a soprano. I can technically sing both alto and soprano. What am I?!
You can sing either. I know it sounds a bit silly but I am the exact same way. My voice teacher and my choir director put me as soprano 1. I would ask a music teacher or a choir director at church to help you decide, but really if you can sing either part you should sing with the part you are most comfortable singing.

My fam. doesn't have a lot of money. Sometimes I get teased for what I wear and other times what I wear is really uncomfortable. How can I get cool clothes with not a lot of money?
Well you really don't need to spend a lot of money in order to have cool clothes. I don't shop at expensive stores like American Eagle or Hollister either. I shop at Walmart or Kmart or Target and most of the time I just buy stuff off of the clearance racks. The stuff on those racks are cheaper and still look good. You dont have to buy everything at once either just when you are at a store just look at some of the stuff on the sales racks...you might be surprised

It could mean that you still like him, but if you are also friends with him it could be that you just want the best for him and seeing him with this other girl made you upset not really because you still like him but just becuase you care about him and don't want to see him get hurt.

Well if anyone would be so kind to explain the game of doubles tennis to me, it would be greatly appreciated. Actually, I know how to play, I'm really confused on when your partner serves. Let's say i just served a game, when does my partner serve? And when do we switch sides? Pleaseee HELP!

If you are serving game one then you serve the entire game so you start at the service line on the right side of the court and your partner stands on the left side close to the net. You get two serves. Then you serve from the service line on the left side of the court and your partner stands on the right side of the court near the net. And so on until that game is over.
In game two the other team serves the entire game.
In game three your partner serves for the entire game.
After every three games you and the other team switch sides of the court. So after game 3 you switch and after game 6 you switch

YES you need to tell your parents right away. I know it might seem awkward but you need to tell them. If they don't believe you, go to another adult, an aunt or even your boyfriend's parents. Your parents should take you to a hospital to make sure you are okay and then they can and most likely will press charges against your neighbor. What he did to you was wrong and you shouldn't let him get away with it. As for your boyfriend, try to explain to him what really happend and if he wont listen get your parents to talk to him.

Well it is almost impossible for anyone to get along with everyone, so don't worry about being friends with everyone you meet. To avoid geting into fights, try not to put yourself into situtations where a fight could start.If someone says something or tries to start a fight just walk away. Just be friendly and open to everyone you meet and it should be easy for you to make new friends.
