14/f.my mom and my neighbor go walking 2 miles or more every night. last year i started going with them, but now i'm starting not to. i know that it is good exercise, but i'm just kind of embarrassed to be seen walking with my mom and my neighbor. i know that sounds mean but its true. sometimes we walking laps around the neighborhood and sometimes we walk outside the neighborhood where other people and people i go to school with can see us. what do i do? and i'm not going to tell my mom that i'm embarrassed to walk with her, that is just too mean.

Hey-
You shouldn't feel embarrassed for working out with your mom.. at least you are getting exercise.. just stay in your zone while exercizing, and don't pay attention to your neighbors...
If people make fun of you- just don't pay attention to them.. but honestly.. no one is going to make fun of you for working out with your mom..

okay, this is really creeping me out now. My dad measured my height and he noticed that my right foot is bigger than my left foot. I've played soccer for 6 years and i'm a righty... is it because of this? heres a picture

This is probably just temporary... you never know what the body is going to do to you.. so just give it some time to even out..
I'm certain that your feet will be the same length very soon (like a ocuple of weeks)

There is this dance and I am going to go with this guy, the dance is in 2 days, and I said yes to him yesterday, today he gave me a hug, do you think he thinks we are going out?? Also, he is a wigger and that is not my type, and he is on my nerves...WHAT TO DO!!?!?!?!

You never know what people are thinking- but I'd say that he doesn't think you are going out.. I mean he never asked you out.. so why would he think you are going out? lol

If you have suspision that he likes you- just talk to him and let him know that you don't like him.. but don't lay it down hard.. say it politely.. and everything will go fine

I know this sounds weird..
but Lemon Juice works GREAT
if you take a cotton swab and lightly dab some lemon juice on it.. then apply it to your face..
It works faster than most things!

all hair dye does is dye your hair!

But you have to follow instructions on the box very accurately
and be very careful when dying it..

i didnt know which category to put this is but

school starts the 29th and i wanted to know if anyone had any fun ideas for me to do before school starts.

hey!
a really great idea is to throw a back-to-school pool party and invite all of your friends

have virgin strawberry daiquiris (sp?), lots of candy, pop, fun games like:
spin the bottle
truth or dare
7 minutes in heaven

and you can just hang out in the pool and just talk!



OR

You could get everyone together and go see a movie... there are a lot of good movies that just came out... like Talladega Nights!!!



OR

have all your girlfriends over for a sleepover.. rent a couple movies.. and eat popcorn!



AND


get lots of sleep! school becomes tiring the first couple days if you haven't gotten a lot of sleep recently

Ok, I'm female 17. I found out that one of my best guy friends liked me, and I told him I didn't want to mess up our friendship, and so I didn't want to go out with him. Well since he told me, our frienship has already been messed up.But yesterday, I was thinking that maybe we should go out. So I told him I would, but then I started thinking about all the bad things that can go wrong, and that I really don't like him as much as he likes me. I know everything I did was a mistake, but right now I just need some advice, anything really. Right now my head is spinning.

First off- congrats on being my 100th question answered!
I've been in this same exact situation- liking my best friend (well- i'm on the other end of this..but still)
What happened to me and one of my best girl friends was completely unwanted.. we didn't talk for a month...
she basically told me to give her space.. so I did.. and waited for her to talk to me when she was ready...
When she finally talked to me again- we became best friends again and now we act like it never happened...
This is probably what you and your guy friend should do- because it all worked out for the best.. and trying to rush back into friendship will only make the friendship weaker..

just tell your friend that you need some time to think.. but assure him that you don't hate him or anything (because my friend didn't.. and it killed me).. .. you just need to work things out on your own..
And.. when you are ready to talk to him again (talk to him about this situation).. just let him know and have a talk about what happened.. and things will work out soon!

ok basically my school lunches are horrible. they serve pizza & bagels every day. their salad is watery & brown. you get my point. i need ideas for lunches to pack. i was thinking of either pb & j with fruit, but obviously i don't want that every day. anything that would be good?? just remember-- it will be sitting in my locker [i can use ice packs] & also i don't want packaged food such as 'meals'.

you could have bologna, turkey, ham, or pastrami sandwiches.. those are really good.. and it gives variety...
You can have fruits and vegetables (switch each day)
Fruit snacks work great because they are small and already packaged!
Capri-suns or Kool-Aids are really good.. there are so many flavors... its CRAZY
you can get oreos or cookies (like as a desert..) and they can be put in a snack zip-lock baggie..

the only way that you can get her off your back and stop copying you is to just flat out tell her that you think she should stop copying you
but.. in a nice way.. like be polite about it.. or you might lose your friendship

if she is a good friend- she'll appologize and step back (figuratively) and not make a big deal about it

well... im turning 14 in a month or so. female...

and this guy from my school has liked me for a while. and ive never really had a conversation with him other than on yahoo i/m. when i first started talking to him, i hated him...and then i started wanting to talk to him and he was always trying to talk to me at school but when ever i see him i tense up, panic, and get shaky and nervous. and i think that means i like him...and then i was talking to him tonight on y/i/m. and we were just talking, and he asked me for my number...and i was totally calm and i gave it to him. and then he said he was going to call me...and then i freaked out and got all shaky. and i told him not to. and i know that he got confused. and so did i. does this mean i like him? and how do i get to talk to him without panicking? i really wanted him to call me but then i really didnt want him to? does that make any sence???? damn horomones...

I've been in this situation before...
Becoming nervous and panicked when I was talking to or around the girl I liked...
What I did was talked to a close friend of theirs (which, luckily, was one of my close friends too... but unless that's the same for you.. go with one of your friends).. and tell them that you like that guy..
Then... have them talk to the guy to find out if he likes you the same way you like him...
(This is the only way you'll find out if he likes you- since you are unable to talk to him yourself)
If he ends up liking you.. just try your hardest to go up to him and just be like "hey, how are you?"
and just let him do the talking.. and nod your head while he does...
Then- if you feel confident enough.. tell him that you like him.. and things will go from there...

okay so theres this boy. i like him alot. we arent together .. we just like each other and just do stuff with each other. but like he always botheres me about talking to a boy and all and like i heard he wanted to get with some girl and even commented to her saying stuff related to that. and like im mad and i dont know what to do. stop talkign to him and answering his phone calls. or tell him about it. or like what should i say

Hey-
If you like him.. the only way something is going to happen is if you talk to him and tell him you have feelings for him
Don't push him away because you are unsure...

Just tell him you like him... and everything should go great!

Okay i just started highschool and like there is the guy in in 5th period that i just met and i sit next to him ....I mean me and him talk to eachother laugh and smile at eachother to but i dont know if like i like him or not.. and i dont know if e likes me... but like how can a start up a coversation to kinda feel out if i could like him and for that fact if i can see if he likes me??

What you could do is just ask him if he likes anyone.. and tell him to go first.. then if he likes you- then you can tell him that you kinda like him too

OR

you could tell him that you know someone who likes him.. but he has to tell you who he likes first...


Those are really the only ways you can start a conversation to find out if someone likes you...

I'm 17 almost 18 and I fell in love with the perfect guy we've been dating a couple months now and his family loves me and my family loves him. We have both hinted at marriage and we both are going in the same direction. He's 21 and I met him through friends. But i'm scared that I'm going to get my heart broken. He's the first guy thats ever been nice to me in a relationship and didnt expect things from me. I guess I'm just confused on how to take all this in. We both act almost as if we are almost ready, but I'm getting impatent waiting for him to pop the question. What can I do to hint that i think we should take the next step or should I wait for him to do it?

If you are meant to be together- then it will happen in due time...
I'm pretty sure there isn't a way to hint it without coming out and saying it...
Although... you could just act all sweet and lean on his shoulder if you are sitting down together..
Ask him out on a date (like dinner) and make sure its in a romantic place
That might set up a perfect situation for him to pop the question...

I am currently writing a novel. I have about 70-80 pages done, and will soon need a title. The novel focuses mainly around the topic of self-injury, more specifically, cutting. Do any of you have an idea for a title? If I use it, and make any money off of the book, I'd be willing to give you a portion of the money. Any ideas?

Whenever you're around him- act sweet and cute... hint that you like him...
Write him a note (about anything.. like how you are so bored in history or something).. and sign it with hearts
Throw an AMAZING party and invite him and a couple other friends.. play truth or dare.. and ask him to choose T or D.. idk
If he ever looks at you- smile really big and just keep staring at him (trust me.. guys like it when girls give them smiles- I really love my gf's smile ;-) )

Eating foods high in fat will add body fat to you- but its not guaranteed to go straight to your buttox
