I hate mystep dad really much and i waant him out of my life. nobody in my family wants him here but my mom. she acts like she cant do things on her on when she realy can so she she has to ask my step father when i can do it. hes always following her like a lost puppy and i cant even speak with her for one minute without having him right there behind us listening. what should i do? I think that you need to ask your mom if you can have a PRIVATE talk with her in (pick a room) then talk to her about the way you feel, make sure to give examples of things that bother you, but try to remain calm. Try to spend some quality time alone with her, go out somewhere as a mother daughter/son kind of thing. Try not to be too harsh, but you need to tell her exactaly the way you feel. Maybe even tell her, that if she could just adjust a few things in the way you live, or if she talks to your step dad about some stuff, your enviorment would be easier to deal with. Okay , well I was at a dance and me and this guy kept locking eyes allll night. Okay So me and my boyfriend have been dating for over 2 years and get along really well and for the most part he treats me very well and is very sweet and funny. but sometimes he can get into these moods where everything I say or do can make him turn into a jerk for a while and it hurts me because its like whow why are you acting this way. If he can't understand it by you telling him, then it will come to him on his own time. You can't control his actions, there is no easy button in life, he may just be going through a phase. Sometimes people are just mean without realizing it, or it can be his dry sense of humor? If he gets out of control, talk to him some more, but that's all you can do. Let him realize it on his own, you had your input and that's all you can do for now. Just sit and wait, hopefully this new mean streak won't last, and maybe he is just stressed? Whatever is, he will see that he is pissing people off and they won't take it anymore. He'll learn, and he'll control himself. :] Hope things get better.
