Does anyone know of some fun things i could do in a pool by myself?? I dont have time to go shopping because i'm going to go swimming in a few minutes and i dont think we have those diving sticks anymore and even if we do..that gets boring very easily..any ideas?

Ohh! I can answer this. We recently got a pool.

You can do flips and handstands and stuff, I love doing those. You can also throw various coins in the water and go after them. I like pushing off against the pool wall, and like twirl and swim to the other end. If the pool has a diving board, then you can practice little dives. I used to be on the dive team and I can do a bunch of different dives and stuff like that.

Well, there's this girl. Me and her used to be best friends a couple years ago but now we're just okay. We talk once in a while but I still care about her, as a friend of course. Anyways, lately she has been talking SO much about her weight and how she's fat but that thing is, she's not! She's at least 130 and she's pretty tall.

On her xanga she puts how much she eats and how much she will exercise and it's scaring me. I want to tell my mom because her mom is friends with mine but I'm afraid it's going to be my fault for telling her.

There is NO way that I can talk her into not doing it. Many of us have tried to tell her the bad things that can happen, that she can gain more weight that way but she doesn't care. She barely eats..and I don't know what else to do.

This is the same thing that happened to my friend. She's very stressed and she suffers from insomnia but she doesn't want to do anything about it. She doesn't eat, she eats junk food and drinks pop and I told her that I'm very worried about her and I don't want anything to happen to her, but she doesn't listen. You can't really do anything because you can't force her to start eating again, or to get therapy. What she decides is her own business. Its hard, because you care about the person even though you guys kinda drifted apart, but theres nothing you can do about it, its her life.

ok today was my 1st day at driver tranning and we had a road drive already, and i really need to inprove my turning. Any tips??

When you are turning, don't turn all of a sudden and go into a sudden state of panic and such. Take it easy and slow, start out with one hand, and turn the wheel slightly, and then grip over with your other hand, let go, and let it slide a little under your hands. That's how I was taught. I can't really show you, but thats the best that I could explain it.

ok so im your tipical f/14. i have kissed a guy and all that good stuff but im not a slut. i kept some notes from recent years that i didnt want anyone to see. well i keep them in a box thats ALWAYS locked. one day i left it open and i went to school. my mom went in the room that was it and read EVERY SINGLE NOTE. now she has gone to far. shes done stuff like this before but not this bad. im about to either run away or just block her out of my life. shes pissed at me for not talking to her about "stuff" and im pissed at her for going through my "stuff" no matter what in my opion she should have never looked at any of the stuff it had nothing to do with her. shes made me so upset, i cried and my blood pressure is so high my face is as red as a tomato and has been like this for about 2 hours. i cant eat im so upset. i dont know what to do but this stuff is getting old FAST!

For my summer reading I have to read "To Kill a Mockingbird." I was wondering that if you have read it, what was it about, and did you enjoy it? Thank you very much.

I read To Kill a Mockingbird when I was 12. It is SUCH a great book.

The story is basically about living the '20's and how the citizens of Maycomb learn to come together in the 1920's and how Scout [narrator] matures and grows up throughout the years.

Six year old Scout is more of a tomboy, instead of dresses, she likes to wear overalls and is always getting rough and dirty. She's very spunky and outgoing and loves hanging out with Jem and Dill.

Ten year old Jem protects Scout throughout the story. Although he is often quiet, he teaches Scout how to respect others and how to stay out of trouble.

Atticus is Scout and Jem's father. He is an attorney who is on a case, and is defending Tom Robinson who is accused of raping a young white girl. Since Atticus lost his wife, he is devoted to Scout and Jem by acting like both a mother and father towards Scout and Jem despite other people's reactions.

Boo Radley and is always blamed for the bad unexplainable things that happen. Boo had gotten in trouble when he was younger by hanging with the wrong crowd, and he is always inside of his house and never came out, which stirred up rumors of him being 'mental' and such.

It is a great read. I highly recommend [sp?] it.

I didn't exactly know what to put this under.

But anyway, I'm not the richest person you'll ever meet. I live my single mom, and my sister. We don't have THAT much money, but we're not poor or anything. I have like 2 hoodies that actually fit me, and that I like. And I have like 10 t-shirts that I wear. I really hate wearing the same clothes all the time, and I have like no hoodies (especially going into winter). I don't know what to do? I need some "fashion tips" I guess. I shop at Pac Sun and that's why I can't buy that much clothing at once, because of high prices. I like those kinds of clothes though, so where else can I get clothes that I like, but more of it??

TJ Maxx or Marshalls has a lot of cute stuff, they have name brand clothing for half the price. We're not poor, or anything like that, but I just like going there so I can buy more stuff than I usually do with just one item of clothing from the actual store.

Another great store is Burlington Coat Factory. I found a really cute Aeropostale miniskirt there for only 12 bucks and it had sparkles and stuff on it, and the original price was 30 bucks.

What are some nice places to visit in the Caribbean? My dad wants to take me on a scuba diving trip and he asked me where I would like to go in the Caribbean. I don't really know what the islands are like so I need a list of countries that would be safe and fun for a 16 year old female!

Well my best friend went out with my ex-boyfriend 2 days after i broke up with him, even though i wish i hadent. I only broke up with him because he lived to far away.. But it just bugs me that she did that, and i dont know what to do. I told her that i didnt care because i dont want to let some guy (no offence) get between me and her- but it is! Any help would be great, and i do rate.

Well, sorry if I'm dissapointing, but YOU'RE the one that broke up with him. Maybe your friend thought 'oh she probably moved on already'. If you wish that you didn't break up with him, then it's a little too late. You can't really do anything at this point, so the best thing that you can do is just move on.

i got a creanberry juice stain on my green velour sweat pants, and my mom put tide detergent on just the part where the stain was. the stain came out, BUT the fabric is damaged. Instead of being velour, it's kind of towel-textured and the color faded. (i think because we used Tide with bleach)

Is there any way to fix my pants??? someone PLEASE help me. they are my favorite!!!

Hmmm, well, I'm not sure, but you should've used a regular detergent, because the Tide with BLEACH caused the problem. I tried looking on Google, but I didn't find anything. You should take it to the Dry Cleaners and ask them what you can do to fix it. If they can't, then your pants are gone.

I'm dating this guy. Ryan. We have been dating for about three weeks now, Yeah, I know - It's not that long. But this isn't the first time we dated.

My best friend, almost hooked up with the same guy. But we went out one night and she did things with another guy and almost went all the way. Ryan found out and told me about two months ago that he didn't want a girl like that, So we started talking more, My bestfreind hates it with a passion. She claims that she wants him to die and that she hates him and doesn't want anything to do with him ever again, and that she has no feelings left for him what so ever, So I thought - What the heck, I'll date him and give him a chance.

We started dating. My bestfriend found out and told me, it's me or him. Take your pick. Of course, I chose my best friend. Me and Ryan broke up. Then about two weeks later, me and Ryan started talking about, and everything was cool with my bestfriend, We even pledged to not let another guy get between us ever again. Everything was perfect, So I gave Ryan another chance. I told my best friend, but she was too drunk to remember that I said anything.

Last night I hung out with both of them. My bestfriend was a complete ass to Ryan and I felt bad but I couldn't do much because I hate being in the middle of fights, So I just stood there and talked to all my other friends. Apperently everyone but my bestfriend knew that me and Ryan were dating. Well, I didn't want to tell my bestfreind last night either because we were not only with a buncha friends but she was also wasted.. So I didn't say anything.

Somehow, she found out. She called Ryan and completely bitch slapped him and called him on everything. I haven't talked to her yet but I'm not so sure I want to. I don't know what to do because I know it's going to come down to the same thing, Her or Him. I don't want to choose for the sake of myself, but what do I do?

Your best friend is being extremely immature. Talk to her and tell her 'Hey [name], I shouldn't choose between you or Ryan because you both mean a lot to me, and I really like him, you shouldn't have called him and done that to him, 'cause it made me really mad. I can't choose between you and him, so you'll have to understand that'. If she is a true friend, then she'll understand, if not, then you should forget about it. She is being inconsiderate and does not care about your feelings or his.

ok so last month around like may 3rd i got my first period. and it lasted maybe like 5ish days. (but it was only really heavy about 3 days) anyway..about a week past after i got it..and then i got it again! i know that when you first get it, it's irregular, so do you think i will get it this month? i'm just really scared that i don't have it or get it on monday, because i am going to a waterpark with my 8th grade graduating class.if i do happen to get it, (which im really hoping i don't), what should i do? i haven't started using tampons yet. i dont know???? any advice? thank youu.

I was scared of using tampons when I was younger whe n I went to a water park with my cousins. The best thing and probably the only thing that you can do is wear tampons. They're not that bad, actually. Try inserting some to have some practice.

we're going to cedar point on monday and i really really really WANT to go on a rollcercoaster but i'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Scared!! all my friends are trying to help me but i dont know if i can do it. Last time, i almost broke out in hives and fainted cuz i was so scraed. what is some advice from former scared-people or anybody? Know anything i can repewat to amkeme more confident.. I've been tryign to go on one all my life. HELP

I got over my fear of roller coasters after my aunt and uncle kept pressuring me to go on The Hulk at Islands of Adventure in Orlando Florida. You should probably start out with smaller coasters, and then work your way up. When you're going down, close your eyes and grip the handle bar [if there is one].
