It's become a trend in my area for some very ignorant people to steal campain signs from public and private yards. Basically, all of the Kerry/Edwards signs have come up missing only to be found dumped with big W's spray painted on them. I am disgusted by this, as I'm sure any self respecting Bush supporter would be too. I am for Kerry, but I would never think of imposing on anyone's right to speak out for the candidate that they believe in.
It's gotten quite bad. I took a two minute walk down the road and saw three or four Kerry/Edwards signs. Four hours later they were all missing.
I want to express my views with a few signs in my yard, but I do not want them to be vandalized. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I could go about doing this?
Chain a big dog to your signs, or put up a sign that says "Vandals will be fired upon" And it wouldnt help to let the neighborhood know that you did time at Alcatraz, or maybe spent some time in a institution.

Ok.. Im 14.. and I really love my boyfriend.. well.. last night.. we were talkin for a REALLY long time on the phone.. and he proposed to me. Its was really cute the way he did it. I of course said yes cause im so much in love with him.

Do you really want to tie yourself down this early? plus, if break up with him after you are engaged, think about how hard it will be to get over him. I think you need to sit down and think this one over some. Use your head, but at the same time, listen to your heart. If you think you love him, then continue dating. Personally, i dont think its very fair. Theres 3000 miles betweent the two of you. And the only way you share emotion is over AIM. Both of you will easily get bored with this relationship. Soon, you'll find someone at your school who you can see and talk to face to face. And I'm sure she will too. You should definately be friends, but nothing more. Good Luck!

I really really like my boyfriend but he's always doing things on the weekend to do with scouts and his church and things. I don't think he's only saying that to avoid me but I really want to spend time with him. What should I do?
Tell him that you feel that you guys need to get together more. Maybe you can go with him to his church activities? Or maybe you can find a club at school that you can join together, giving you club meetings and activities to share with each other. OK, first of all, I dont think she'll view you as dumb. She knows that her son cares for you, so shes going to treat you like family. To break the ice, just start off by saying how much you appreciate her driving you to the game. then maybe you should mention how much you care about her son(if you and your boyfriend are serious).Shell feel more accepting of you if she knows that you two have something in common: you both love her son. If I knew how old you were, this would be lot easier! But if you think youre old enough to start dating, then be honest with your parents. Tell them you think you are old enough and responsible enough to go on a date with a guy you like. if that doesnt work, do something to show them you are ULTRA responsible, then ask again. And hey if that doesnt work, then maybe it wouldnt hurt to try sneaking out the window.

I am pretty actively involved in musical theater and have an audition coming up soon! For my audition, I need 2 sing a song, but the problem is, I am having trouble finding a good song 4 my voice. Does any1 have any song suggestions for an alto girl? (Broadway or Disney songs are preferred most by the directors, but I'm willing 4 other suggestions 2!) Thanks all!!
As a fellow alto, I know how hard it is to find a good song, especially solos! Most alto songs are harmony in a duet with soprano. Try "When your good to Mama" from Chicago, or "The Worst Thing I Could Do" from Grease. These have some higher notes, but not to high. With a little practice, an alto could easily sing these notes. I am doing a play for my school called "guys and Dolls" I really want to try out for the role of Sara (if you know which character is) and she is a lead role. People say I act very good and there a lot of people trying out for the school musical. I am just not that used to not getting a role in a play at all. It happened once and I am making a vow never to not get a role again. And I know thats the way life goes but you know I have a dream and I don't want it to start breaking, especially now, I'm young. Plus my ex-friend is doing the play too and what if I get a role where I have to read dialogue with her? Ya know? Me and my Luck! lol

every once in a while (but not too much) I go to some sort of fancy dinner and I always get so confused when the first course comes with my silverware. Which fork do I start with? Usually I just use what the person next to me uses, but what if they're waiting for me to use a fork first? it could become very very confusing.

My friend katie and lisa and this other girl carly, were waiting after practice for their rides and carly had Katies cell phone and she threw it on lisa to get her to pay attention. Since Lisa wasn't paying attention, she didn't catch it, so it bounced off her stomach and hit the ground and it kinda broke, some pieces came off and the front is all messed up. Carly acted liek it was nothing, and didn't really apologize. My questions are:
1. Do you think Carly should pay a small price to get it fixed or for consulation? Or have her apologize.
2. If so, how should katie approach her and ask for either money or an apology?

I would have Katie's parents handle this one. They prolly paid for the phone in the first place, and they might not want to pay for the damages, espescially when it wasnt their daughters fault. Katie definately shouldnt have to confront Carly about the money...no offense, but she has no authority..Carly could easily blow her off. But if Katies parents contact Carly's parents, Im sure they could negotiate something.

i know what your feeling. You didnt know something about him, and then when you found out about it, you felt lied to or like he was trying to keep it from you. Maybe this will give you a clue about your relationship in the future. He may lie to you and keep secrets from you and maybe, sadly, even cheat on you. Watch out for yourself, sweetie. Definately put your money in the bank. Open a savings account and put a limit on your withdrawals(it should ask you on the paper)And to make even more money, you could buy a CD. If you buy one for $50, then in a certain amount of time,say 5 years, it will worth $100. You get your money back, plus you make a $50 dollar profit. Ok, I know its not much money, but it accomplishes two things: Keeps you from spending your money, and makes you a little but more money. Goodluck!

Sounds to me like your friends have some trust issues. Have you given them a reason not to trust you? If you havent, then you really need to have a chat with them.
