i have been studying all week because i have a week of exams (starting tomorro) and i wanted to know some study tips like i know

-not to study when your tired cos your less lilely to remember and take the information in

-if your getting distracted or sidetract when your studying take a break

but what else is important when your studying and what will help with your study so your more likely to remember infomation and stuff. just some general study tips i need them ASAP thanks in advance xx

The best way to summarise your notes is to do it in terms of the syllabus, as it helps your learn to present the information in the way that the examiners expect. (Of course, this won't work if you don't have a syllabus. In that case, just make a detailed summary of everything that's been covered.)

Syllabus or not, make sure you write the summary in your own words so that you actually understand and remember the material.

Doing past papers is the best way to prepare for exams. Check your school's library to see if you can find any of them.

If you don't have access to any past papers, go through any homework questions that you have, as they can be similar to exam questions.

Is there a way to put Album Artwork onto the songs you download on Limewire so that they show up on iTunes and ur iPod? I hate downloading songs and not having the artwork on most of them on my iPod....

First of all, find the relevant album artwork and save it to your computer.

Now go to iTunes, and find the song that's missing its album artwork. Right-click the song's name, choose "Get Info", go to the "Artwork" tab, click the "Add" button, choose the image, and click "OK".

on facebook how do you hide conversations between you and someone else,that everyone else can see, like for example, if i look at some random person's profile i can see their wall to wall conversations with some random person, so how do i hide that on my profile so that no one can see the comments between me and someone else,

To add to the other answer, you can change the privacy setting on your wall so that only specific people can see it.

To do that, click the "privacy" link in the top right corner of any Facebook page while logged in, and click "Profile". Scroll down and you should see the settings for your wall. You can then change it to allow or block specific people from seeing it.

If your wall is not visible to someone, then that person will not be given the "wall-to-wall" link under your posts on other people's walls, nor can that person see those posts by manually typing your user ID into the URL.

However, keep in mind that anyone who can see your wall can see all the posts on it. You can't hide individual posts.

This depends on which Facebook horoscopes application you're talking about. Remember that the applications are developed by other users, not by the Facebook staff themselves.

One of the more popular horoscopes applications developed by RockYou allows you to receive horoscopes through text messages (providing that you're in the US). It doesn't say whether it charges extra though.

Does your friend's boyfriend know her well?

If he does, then he should know that she's flirty as you described, so don't worry about him getting hurt.

However, either way, if your friend still flirts with other guys, you should definitely remind her that she really shouldn't be doing that. Do mention the boyfriend.

Since you said she's your best friend and "the only person you can talk to about stuff", you should be able to talk to her about this.

Obviously, one thing that you shouldn't mention is the fact that other people think she's a slut or that they hate how you're friends with her. She's your friend, and what other people think of her shouldn't affect that.

i have an eating disorder, bulimia. i don't really eat lunch and people are starting to bug me about it. i haven't eaten it since like 7th grade but anyways i know i need help..i just haven't actually said it or convinced myself fully yet. i don't want to die but i don't feel that i will. also i have realized i don't want to live with this for the rest of my life. feeling like crap all the time, feeling guilty for throwing up food and wasting it, feeling guilty for eating, and everything. i don't know why i have this. I guess my question is what should i do? how should i tell someone something like this?

i was thinking of going to a school counselor, i'm not sure.

Admitting that you have a problem is the first step to getting better. Going to a school counsellor is a good idea. Be honest and tell him/her what you said in your question.

Keep in mind that your parents should know about this too, so tell them if you can. Depending on how comfortable you are with them, I understand that this might be more difficult, but your parents deserve to know. Give them a chance to support you.

No, if you didn't do anything with the guys, it definitely doesn't make you a slut. Liking someone isn't wrong.

I don't know why your friends would have any problem with you liking their guy friends. For some of them, it might be that they like the guys themselves and just isn't happy that you do too. (Not saying that's for sure. It's just a possibility.)

About 4 years ago or something I made a bebo account, but it got hacked and I stopped using it.
Well I recently found out that it's still up, and I want it deleted because it has totally false information about me, but the problem is that I don't remember which email I used for it...or password.
What could I do about this?

One thing you can do is to click the "Lost Password" link and reset your password. Just try every email address that you have.

However, if someone else has gained access to your account, it is possible that he or she might have changed the email address.

If you can regain access by resetting your password, follow the instructions on the help page to close the account.

If you can't regain access to your account, contact the Bebo staff with the form on their "Contact Us" page. Include a link to the account profile, and tell them that someone is putting false information about you.

two people who accepted my friend requests on facebook do not show up on my list of friends and I cannot find them anywhere even though they both confirmed friendship. why is that and how can i view their profile?

Try typing their names into the search box and see if their names show up. Alternatively, if you originally found them through another method (say, in a group or on someone's friend list), go back there and see if you can still find them.

If the names don't show up, they might have deactivated their accounts.

If the names do show up but they aren't your friends, try requesting again. It might just be a technical issue.

Of course, keep in mind that there is also a chance that they might have accepted the request and then removed you as a friend. Not saying that they did, but it's a possibility.

Alright, I have a 30GB iPod video (one of the older ones, not the colored new ones).

I have a ton of pictures on it, and I was just wondering if I could transfer the pictures TO the computer fROM the iPod itself?

Because I got a new computer, which means I don't have those pictures anymore.

This would depend on whether you had the full-sized photos on the iPod in the first place.

When you add photos to an iPod through iTunes, there is a checkbox labelled "Include full-resolution photos". If you checked that box at the time, you will be able to find the photos in your iPod when you look in it in Windows Explorer.

If you can't find the iPod under "My Computer", go to iTunes, click the name of your iPod and make sure you have the box next to "Enable disk use" checked.

Learn from the experience, and make sure you back up your photos and other important files in the future.

Are you sure that the stars actually have the flawless skin without any undertone, and they aren't using makeup? Keep in mind that many photographs of stars are digitally edited to make them look flawless.

Whitening products usually work by inhibiting melanin production. Unless you use a really strong product, it would just lighten your skin but not change the undertone. Stronger products might lighten your skin to the point where even the undertone is gone, but keep in mind that such chemicals can be harmful to your skin, so use with caution.

Also, don't forget to avoid direct sunlight, and use sunscreen when you go out.

My sister has really strange eating habits, but it doesn't sound like an eating disorder that I have heard of. She eats less than 100 calories for breakfast. At school she eats grapes for lunch and throws away her sandwich. She tries not to let anyone see her do it, but I have seen her do it all week. At supper, she eats normally because my parents saw that she wasn't eating as much and she doesn't want them to know.

One day at lunch I saw her eating half of her sandwich. But when we got home, I heard her trying to make herself throw up in the bathroom. She didn't succeed, but maybe that's because she is afraid of throwing up.

Maybe I am making too much of things, but what does this sound like to you? Any help is appreciated. :)

You aren't making too much of things. If your sister is trying to throw up, it is a disorder.

Encourage her to stop and seek treatment from a medical professional. Try and get her to talk to your parents about it, and if you can't, you might have to tell your parents. (Do talk to her first, but don't be afraid to tell if it's necessary.)

No, it's not true. Shaving or cutting hair does not affect the rate at which it grows. The reasons why shaved hair can appear to grow faster are:

1: If the hair (anywhere on the body) is shorter (or completely shaved), any growth will be more obvious.

It's the same reason why if a person has long hair it can appear that his or her hair doesn't grow any more when in fact it still grows but it's not as obvious as if the person has shorter hair.

2: Shaving or cutting breaks the end of the hair and make it look coarser, so when the hair grows back, it looks like it's grown back thicker.
