my hair is REALLY wavy and frizzy and cruly to a point were it looks horrible when i let it dry or blow dry it. so i bought a chi iron- if you dont know what that is it's supposedly "the best" stragitener- but when i straighten my hair with it after about ten minutes it starts looking bad! i've had it for about 2 years- so is it just dying? but it happened when i first used it 2! am i just not doing it right or should i use hair spray and how much hair spray? does anyone also know any other syle besides scruncing that might look good w/ my kind of hair? help is really appreciated! thanx! try using gel and spray that will help keep your hair straight after using it, and theres sprays to help keep your hair from frizzing, but i think wavy hair looks really nice, so if you just use the spray to keep from getting frizzy and just use gel, itll look good! x0 Renee

well if hes in trouble with the cops your dad is being a good father by trying to help you stay out of trouble, hes just looking out for you, dont dont mind your dad, try to convince him that hes a good kid, have him over for dinner and try to have your bf talk to your dad, have them become friends.. but hes a lil bit old for you dont you think? idk im just giving you my advice like i should, but if your dad doesn't want you guys together, respect him n break up, i'm sure you can find someone whos 14 or 15. 17's a lil bit old for you hun. x0

well. im fourteen, and my mom won't let me wear thongs yet!!! my sister said if i asked her she probably would say yeah, my sisters like 28.. i have thongs and stuff, but i want to be able to bbuy them with my mom, we were in rue21. and thongs are like .99 cents each, so i thought i'd buy my friends each one for christmas, my mom let me. but she won't let me get any!!! its not like im gunna let it hang out or anything, my panty line ALWAYS shows, and people pick on me for it. what should i do? i started wearing them when i was 12! haha, my mom didn't know about it until like last year, when i was 14, well i dont think your mom will make you take off your thongs if she ever caught you with one on, but that will only happen if they did hang out or you wear like white jeans and a black thong (not good), im sure you go out to the mall shopping with your friends, buy them there, and just wear them, your old enough i would say! haha, plus i hope your not the slutty girl who would have them like sticking out and wear like low cut shirts so their bound to show, but i dont think you would do that, i dont think alot of girls would do that, but there are a few. your responsible of yourself, at 14 you start doing things on your own i would say, just go shopping with your friends and buy them when your together.. your mom should let you buy whatever you please! x0 Renee

Ok I have this really awesome guy friend "John", well over the summer I was pretty much suicidal and he was the only one who knew about it and he talked me out of doing some pretty shitty stuff. Anyways,he got me going to his church and everything was going great for me. He would talk to me all the time, we would talk about anything and everything, it didn't matter what it was, most of the time it didnt. Well I liked him, I told him I kind of liked him, I wasnt going to tell him but I got pressured into it. And he said he didnt like me that way and that we were still friends. Lately, he won't talk to me. This morning at church, he didn't say one fucking word to me. Whenever he signs in on the computer, he wont talk to me, and if we do talk its for like 1 minute. I have liked this one guy for nearly a year. We used to date over the summer, but then some stuff got messed up and we broke up. Well he managed to get over me but i never got over him. Recently he and I have gotten really close (somewhat) and we talk all the time. He has been throwing hints he likes me. And apparently he told a friend of mine he likes me. Well, on thursday he and 2 of my other friends (one guy on girl) went to hang out at his house. They got bored and found an unfinished house. Well, the guy i like and my really good friend (who knew i was head over heals for him) went into the house and made out...Yesterday we went to a new years party and the girl told another one of my friends about it. Who in turn told me. Now my friend (the girl) likes him and asumes he likes her as well. Both of the people who made out have yet to confront me about it. Im so devistated right now and i feel like having a break down...Please tell me what to do because im so frustrated...Thanks.

in about a month my family and i are driving to florida from ny. there are 6 of us and we drive an expedition. im afraid that my 3 annoying brothers (11,7, and 4) are going to make this trip hell..what are some ways i can prevent this from happening? Also..for anyone whos stayed at a disney resort..whats your favorite one and why? We love the Carribean Beach resort but in case we go somewhere else what do you suggest?

omg i do that every year of my life, so i'm 15, i went down 15 times and spring break itll be 16 times DRIVING to florida.... oh man 6 in a expedition, well itll be pretty hard to sleep, i mean sitting up, its a pain, its usually just me my mom and my sister in an explorer and i got the whoel back seat to myself so i just sleep the whole way down there, all sprawled out haha.. i never went to disney tho =( .. but things that you can do, buy a bunch of magazines, listen to a cd player, your favorite cds, just sit next to the door so that you can look out and itll give you something to do, maybe gameboy or something, a hand held game.. well i hope this works but sry i haven't been to disney so i can't help you out there, but i tried with something to do. have fun! x0 Renee

I have this friend named Heidi, and shes a really fun girl to hang out with. I know she has a rough time at home because her brother and her are really close and when he does pot and crap she gets super mad and cries really bad because he soon before stopped. Her sister also drinks and she has to babysit for her 1 year old neice (sisters baby). By the way the sister is not married. Or w/ the boyfriend w/ the baby anymore. she doesn't sound like a good friend, but youve been there for her for a while, and now shes def changed, talk to her about it, my friend used to do that to me, until i punched her in the face cuz i got super mad at her then she realized to stop after we got in a fight, not fist fight, she stopped talking to me for a week then were bffs again, so dont worry bout it too much, just talk to her and if she gets mad at u, you got more friends so its not seriously a big loss, but still talk to her and see what happens, hope things work out, x0 Renee

I always look at myself and see how not pretty I am. I hate it. Then I look around at all my friends..why do they get to be automatically pretty? No makeup for some--but still not ugly. I have kind of chubby cheeks but not huge. I have dark blonde, almost brown-ish straight hair a little past my shoulders. I'm sort of tan, but not much. My eyes are hazel, mostly green. If I go out or to school, I wear eyeliner and that's it. I also have a little bit of a belly. I really think I'm not pretty. I've never had a boyfriend, and maybe that's why? just because your friends are pretty and you haven't had a boyfriend yet doesn't mean that your ugly! i dont care what people say about me, i haven't worn make up for pertty much a year now, every now and then when i have to dress up, but other than that i dont care what other people say, i know i'm not hott stuff but i dont think i'm ugly either, i'm not consided or anything, u just have to have some slef confidence of yourself, you sound like a really nice girl and pretty too, i dont think makeup really helps, its all fake i think, but eyeliner i think is pretty tho. but just have a lil self confidence of yourself and you shouldn't compare yourself to your friends. x0 Renee

Well, I shop a lot at Abercrombie. And some of my friends aren't allowed to shop there. They'd be like 'Oh cute shirt, where'd you get it?' and then I would be like 'Abercrombie' and then they'd tell me that they weren't allowed to shop there. My mom was an alcoholic, everyday she would drink. DUring christmas even more, just because she hated using all of her money and was afraid we'd be moneyless after christmas. On 12/23 I came home from school, all happy because it was the last day and now I have a 2 week vacation, and I came home to my mom being drunker then hell! I was sick of it and I went upstairs because I didn't want to talk to her. About 2 hours later my dad got home and yelled me from upstairs ( I was sleeping ) .. he said that we had to go to the hospital because my mother had passed out.. she had overdosed on anti-depression pills and was drinking ALOT of alcohol at the same time. when we got to the hospital we waited about 30 minutes and they came out and told me my mom was dead. I can't stop thinking that this is all my fault, like if I would've stayed downstairs maybe I would've stopped her from OD. I've been to a psychiatrist about this, but nothing seems to be working. its not your fault! dont ever think that the death of your mom was your fault, you didn't know that she od'ed on anti depressants, but you knew that she was drinking (like usual) so it wasn't a big deal to you until your dad came home, but this isn't your fault, dont think it is. the only person that could have stopped it was your mom. im sorry hun. x0 Renee
