I want to have sex with my boyfriend but he doesn't even live in my state and i love him but im only 16 and idk if he'll cheat on me if i dont have sex with him im worried he'll cheat but i love him withall my heart and i think im ready i just dont wanna get pregnant or stds...help.

I dont think it is a good idea to have sex with your boyfriend because you are only sixteen and it doesnt sound like you have a very healthy relationship since you are worried about cheating on eachother. I think that you should talk to him about having sex a lot before you actually do to make sure that you are both ready. Sex is a big thing and it shouldnt be taken lightly. If you are not absolutely positive you are ready dont do it. When you have sex make sure that you USE A GOOD CONDOM with no rips. And i would also be on the pill just to make sure that you do not get ready. Remember sex comes along with a lot of emotional stuff ... all i can say is.. make sure you are ready! &hearts

Having long~distance realationships makes you more vulnerable to do stuff with each other if you cant see each other that much. BUT YOU ARE ONLY 16~~!! If you dont want to get pregnant or get STD's then maybe you shouldnt do it because you may effientlay break~up and if you are carrying his baby dont you think you'd be starting your life really soon and wrong? If you still think you are going to have sex make sure you use ALL the protection you can. But still you are really young. I think you should wait till you dont have to worry about school either!

Wait, wait...so you want to have sex with him to make sure he won't cheat on you? That's not a reason to have sex! Well, it's a reason, but not one I'd call valid. He should be willing, if he loves you, to wait for YOU, until YOU are ready to have sex with him, and have the reason for it be that you love each other. Tell him you're worried about getting pregnant or stds, and that you're not ready to have sex (if you aren't), but that you're also worried about losing him, and see what he says to that. You may want to have sex with him but it sounds like you want to do it so he doesn't cheat on you and that is not a good reason to have sex with him. The diffrent state/long distance thing is a very sticky situation because you will both meet new people and sometimes feelings come up and things change plus you are 16 and you still have a long time in front of you. If you do end up doing it make sure you use a condom it will help reduce the risk of you gettin pregnant.

If your scared that your boyfriend is going to cheat on you...then I dont think you should have sex with him. Obviously something in you doesn't trust him..and you should listen to that! Dont rush into this..take your time!

If he wants you to have sex with him or else he'll cheat on you, then he doesn't love you enough. If a guy really loves you he wouldn't try to make you have sex. If you think you're ready though then go ahead. Just make sure you use a condom AND a pill. Hope I helped!
