first love
EVERYONE i know always says that your first love will always stay in your heart no matter what, etc.. Do you guys think this is true? Even after a year or longer after breaking up and gotten with new ppl and not talking at all, you think that those feelings for your first love are still there?

Well, I guess it depends on who you are. I think it's definatly possible if you were really in love with them. If you didn't really love them then maybe the feelings will fade away. I'm only 13 and I know that the feelings I have now for my boyfriend will always be there. I have had other boyfriends but I have never loved them, I don't think I'll ever think of them again.

Well i dont think that they wilil be like OMGOMG I HAVE FEELIGNS STILL FOR HIM lol. But it may be like you think about the good times you had with your first love and all the things that you disagreed with etc. I dont think people think about there first love like 30 years later lol unless there married lol.

well, its so much harder for guys to come out and say i love you, their guys they just dont do that, so i kinda dont think its true for guys to say that their first love will always have feelings. for me? yea i think no matter waht ill always have feelings for my first love, because he really meant something to me, and without him i wouldn't have been the person i am today, but i dont consider ever going back out with him. lol i just apperciate him alot. x0 Renee

Yes, those feelings for your first love tend to stay with you for a very long time. I think the feelings never really fully go away either. Personaly, after you lose someone like that, I think the more time that goes by, the harder it is to forget.

I've found that in most cases a first love was a fluke. Someone missusing the word... the usually reminisce on that time in their life and that expirience stays with them.
All the moments in your life that define you stay with you for forever, someones "first love" is just something that people can always identify. Sometimes how we make decisions or base our morals isn't clear to us, but something like a first love we can easily remember because it is so commonly a regular thing.
