What's Wrong??
Well, I shop a lot at Abercrombie. And some of my friends aren't allowed to shop there. They'd be like 'Oh cute shirt, where'd you get it?' and then I would be like 'Abercrombie' and then they'd tell me that they weren't allowed to shop there. I don't see what's wrong with the place and shopping there. Can anyone tell me what's wrong or are my friends just being too closed minded?? Thanks and I rate.

i have no idea. maybe cuz older ppl shop there that are rude and mean? or maybe there is some inappropiate clothes there.

if you ask me personally i like love abercrombie..most of my clothes are from there! some people go in the adult one with their parents..and some parents flip out b/c of like the pictureson the walls and what kind of clothes! sometimes some parents just think its too expensive! i would suggest you telling your friend about the kids abercrombie! if she can still fit in kids clothes! then maybe her mom would let her shop there! hope this answers your question! Maybe they think that you are to preppy or something. I like that store but dont always just shop there. Wally mart is good place to!! Make your own clothes!! Maybe your friends cant afford that place. You cant find the same stuff pretty much to anywhere else just w/o the brand name!-trix

My mom is like that too... we were at the abercrombie in maine its like a huge store.. and my mom is wierd like that and there were all the hottt models on the walls with out shirts.. and she made my family leave the store.. and we had to go to like gap... UGH i hate it.. well then there was abercrombie and fitch at the malll and i told her it was for younger people and she let me shop ther because the pictures werent that bad.. also when i go shopping, i usually dont go with my mom.. so i try to buy stuff without the logo which i no is really hard so that my mom wont no... but now she doesnt really mind if i wear there merchandise because i told her abut abercrombie and fitch.

It's most likely the fact that in a lot of Abercrombie stores there are very suggestive pictures on the wall; they did a nude cover thing awhile back; and some of their clothes show a little too much skin for some parents to handle. Other than that, I don't really see why parents would have a problem with their kids shopping there. I think it just depends on the person. xoxo*Jesuschick

haha my mom dosent want me shopping there either, everything is so expensive and people dont want there kids shopping there becuase they are probely afradi they will find something they like and then want to buy it.. they have the cutest clothes in the world.. i dont think your freinds are being closed minded . i just think they are trying to save there money

If they are not allowed to, its not their fault. As long as you are happy and your friends dont get jealous or anything everthing is fine...mabey compliment then on their clothes once in a while..hope i helped...>please rate thnx!

Some moms don't allow their kids at Abercrombie because they don't approve of the sexual advertisting. It may not be your friends that are closed minded, it may be their parents that don't allow them to shop there.

well one of my old friends mom wouldnt let her shop there cause they thought the clothes represented like sex cause of the catoluge and stuff , but tis like my favorite store.

thats kinda strange that their not allowed to shop there, well maybe their parents wouldn't buy that expensive clothes ( i got a few things there myself and their kinda expensive) or maybe their not just preppy if you wanna call abercrombie preppy. nothings wrong and their not closed minded, their just normal people. x0 Renee

Well if they cant shop there their either against being "preppy" or Abercromie is a VERY exspensive store, they might not be that much in money to afford the things you can or some things at that store. Or their mothers might think that their clothes are like slutty or something. Hope i helped

Maybe their parents think it's too expensive to shop there? That store is expensive so maybe your friends' parents have money problems? Just talk to them and ask them why they aren't allowed to shop there. Hope I helped :)
