ok i'm not fat or anything , but i was just wondering how else you could lose a little weight and gain muscle. like what other excersizes are good? i already do crunches and i run everyday, but i was wondering what else i could do.

Eat good. If you eat like crap you can run forever but you'll still gain it back because your eating. Cut out pop, candy, fast food (espically!), and other sweets. If you can do that that is great because its difficult. I eat pretty well (sometimes I slack off) and it took me a few months to learn all I did about whats good, bad, etc. Heres a quick review (its hard to tell you everything I know).. not alot of food, more healthy, cut out fast food/candy/pop, 3 meals 2 snacks between, dont eat alot before bed, always eat breakfast & get active. i have a horrible hair cut! i don't know how to fixt it! its really choppy and, it looks like sombody just nawed on the ends! it has way too many layers! how should i fix it?! thanks

I would go get a hair cut. Go to a place and show them a picture of a style similar to your cunnent one (or one they could cut it into) and tell them that you hate how it looks now and need it changed. If you arn't up for a hair cut then I'd say srunch your hair. Scrunching covers up the flaws that straight hair just show-cases. Or find a cut style that won't show the choppey ness like a cute updo or pining back bangs. Hope this helped

Hey, Im 15 year old girl and very athletic. This past year my metabolism has slowed and ive gained atleast 10 pounds. Im not fat or anything, but you can tell Ive gained weight, and Im very self-consious about that. Is there any regiment that I can follow to lose at least 5 pounds fast?

Don't worry. In 6th grade I was like 85 and then I was 106 a year later.. haha 20 lbs =). Ive lost weight recently. I mainly watch what I eat. Ive spent a lot of time looking at sites, asking questions, looking at nutrition facts.. so its hard to teach all that I know to someone in a few sentenses. Mainly, eat good (not alot of food, more healthy, cut out fast food/candy/pop, 3 meals 2 snacks between, dont eat alot before bed, always eat breakfast) & get active. Yep. Look at the box instructions if you need help. If its difficult, use a mirror no matter how icky it seems. The first times they sorta hurt because they weren't in right but after getting the hang of it, it feels like your not even using one.

okay, so i just got my braces off and im getting crest white strips. do you know what like kind of crest white strips work best? kthanks :D

I used Crest Whitestrips Classic. Its two times a day for 30 minutes, top and bottems.. for 2 weeks. They worked for me sooo well. A lot of people told me my teeth were whiter afterwards. The only thing thats not so nice is how they slip and the goo tastes sorta bad, but you'll get used to it and its worth it. They are the cheepest too I think.

Probabaly best book ive ever read. Its a huge hit. It's love, sad, happy, mysterious, everything you could want. Anddd theres a sequal, New Moon. And theres more books to the series coming out too! Honestly, read it and I think you'll like it.

How many times did you try on a tampon before you could actually get it in and use it? And how old were you at th time?


I already tried two times but it didn't work well and my friend told me that I might as well give up cuz it's not my thing then.

Two times? Oh your going to have to try more than that dear. Don't give up though! Tampons are 10 times better than pads, seriously they are so much more easier and you don't have to worry about them showing threw shorts or jeans or whatever. And you can swim with them and they are just so much easier. It took me a while to but I eventually got the hang of it. I was 12. If it hurts when its in and you can feel the tip of it then its not in right. You should be able to feel like its not even in there. Try to put on in after taking a shower or bath so you have some wetness kinda (sorry that sounds gross) so it can move easier in. You shuold be able to get it. Good luck =)

Okay so I have been shaving my legs for a couple years, but I've just noticed that the hair grows back like extremely fast. It's never even completely gone like my friends legs will be so smooth and mine will have stubble the same day I shaved. Today I used a brand new razor and I still had stubble after, it never comes out smooth. Any tips? Or are there any other things that work like those spray on things that remove hair? My friend told me that it didn't work on her.. she used the one that you see on the commerical and the girl says Mine is Kiwi! and shes on the phone with her friend. Any help?

Heres what I do and my legs are superrr smooth. I don't shave. Hahah. I used to shave everytime I showered, but I don't anymore. Smooth legs everyday.. thats over rated. Who needs to shave every time they shower. No one. Just chill with the razor for a little- don't shave for a few days and let the hair grow out. Then before you shave, run your razor under hot water to make it nice a sharp. Then use of soap or shaving cream. After, put lotion on your legs. It should work. Hope this helped.

It doesn't hurt. It might feel weird if its your first time but you should get used to it. Guys might like it trimmed down there (shaved). I don't think many guys like a lot of hair down there but you don't want to make yourself a pornstar for them. So you can trim it up a little but if you don't want to its your choice.

I currently like this one girl, that i think likes me back, i am gonna ask her out, but i dont know if that would be a wise desision. because if she dosnt like me back and says no. it may ruin the friendship. but i think she does like me but i cant be sure. what do u think to do?

Sometimes you just have to try at it. If you don't want to make the plunge yourself by telling her, ask a friend or one of her friends (someone who you can trust to do it right) if she likes you or if you have a chance with her. And if she doesn't like you and you like her back and she knows, things might still get akward too. But usually the akward will fade away and even if it takes some time you'll probably be friends again. So I would try and find out if she likes you at all, then go for it. You never know unless you try. Hope this helped

Okay im 16/f.

I am around 5'7'' and i think i am around 145lbs. My scale is not exactly an accurate one but I range around there.

So I thought I really want to get down to 135 lbs before the school starts again so I started jogging and whatnot. I got up to jogging for an hour however something happened to my ankle because i kind of stepped into a ditch and i guess i sprained it or whatever.

Its swalloen and whatnot.

So I am hoping it would get better soon so all I can do for right now is to do sit ups. I usually do 50-100 and I do around 300-700 per day. I dont do them all at once.

Also when my ankle gets better I am planning to jog for an hour at least 4 times a week.

So would that be enough workout for me to drop 10 pounds before the summer's over?

Good job jogging so much. That should help alot with weight loss. Crunches too! I do around 200 a day and my abs are toned. You'll see results doing that much. But to help loose weight you really need to eat good. Some times people workout and eat shitty and nothing changed. Sometimes people eat great and don't work out at all and loss some weight. Just get your eating down and you'll be lossing weight. Check out this site..

my boyfriend and i just broke up! it fealt so wrong going out with him, he just wasn't boyfriend material, and has allways been my brother. i don't know how to comfront him next time i see him, i want to be truthfull, and we told eachother we would be friends, but its just so damn akward!!! =/ should, i just forget about it, or bring it up ocassionally and laugh about it?! -confused>?

Maybe if you just forget about having went out with him and try to be friends. When you say talking it out do you mean clearing things up? Because that could help.. it might make things more akward for a bit but in the long run it could be smoother. If you bring it up and laugh about it he might get hurt because it could seem like a joke to you. If I were you I would just clear things up and then try and go back to being friends. I'm on the atkins "diet" and i was wondering what sweets/desserts i can eat that are low carb. My other question was how can i resist the temptation to eat bad stuff like cake, doughnuts, cookies, etc. Because my family and friends eat this stuff sometimes and it's SOOOOO hard for me not to dig in with them...usually i'll give in, eat some, and then feel very guilty later. So i really need to know how to just...not eat them and how not have such an urge to want to eat this stuff in the first place!

Im not sure about the low-carb treats, but I to resist food..

1. before you eat just think about how badly you don't need it.

2. think about how pissed you will be at yourself after you eat it.. then think about how proud you will be when you DONT eat it. which one is better?

3. walk away.. litteraly get away as much as you can before you want it.

4. be picky- look around for something you might want to eat more. when I do this i take so much time that in the end i loose intrest all together.

5. go exercise instead. If im having trouble resisting I say, "how about no i don't need that" and then I go do crunches or something.


These all work for me and I hope they can work for you.=]

Hi. I just got my ears pierced (Yeah I know most people get thst done really young but I'm different) anywayz i read on the little leaflet thing that you have to keep the earrings they first put into your ear for 6months?? At the beggining of summer I want to know if it would be ok to just switch earrings anyway?? I got them pierced at the beggining of summer so the earrings wouldn't have been changed for 3 months

I guess you could if you wanted. But if your ears are still tender then you might want to lay off. If you do then don't switch them alot. Maybe once or something, since you shouldn't be taking them out to begin with. But I got my belly pieced I was suppost to leave it in for 6-8 weeks but Ive taken it out & switched it already and it's only been 3 weeks. Mainly, make sure you keep cleaning them. If they hurt too much to take out just leave them alone. Hope this helped

Everday or mostly everyday I stretch, then run for about 15-20 minutes. Mostly at the end of the day around 8:00 pm. I try to do 50 crunches too afterwards,and pushups, but my body just feels so tired and I can't get myself to do them. So I was wondering if I would still get the same results if I did my crunches and pushups in the morning, then ran at my regular time. Or will I get in shape faster if I do them all one after the other? I am begging you, please someone answer this question who knows about fitness, not just someone who is guessing. It doesn't matter if you do them before or after. Threw out the day I do probably 200 crunches (sets of 25) just casue im bord. Do them whenever.
