It's a sexually transmitted disease. It's a genital infection that can cause cancer of the cervix, vulva, vagina, anus, or penis. The types of HPV that infect the genital area are spread primarily through genital contact. Most HPV infections have no signs or symptoms; therefore, most infected persons are unaware they are infected, yet they can transmit the virus to a sex partner. The virus lives in the skin or mucous membranes and usually causes no symptoms. Some people get visible genital warts, or have pre-cancerous changes in the cervix, vulva, anus, or penis. Very rarely, HPV infection results in anal or genital cancers.
Genital warts usually appear as soft, moist, pink, or flesh-colored swellings, usually in the genital area. They can be raised or flat, single or multiple, small or large, and sometimes cauliflower shaped. They can appear on the vulva, in or around the vagina or anus, on the cervix, and on the penis, scrotum, groin, or thigh. After sexual contact with an infected person, warts may appear within weeks or months, or not at all.
Genital warts are diagnosed by visual inspection. Visible genital warts can be removed by medications the patient applies, or by treatments performed by a health care provider. Some individuals choose to forego treatment to see if the warts will disappear on their own. No treatment regimen for genital warts is better than another, and no one treatment regimen is ideal for all cases.
Most women are diagnosed with HPV on the basis of abnormal Pap tests. A Pap test is the primary cancer-screening tool for cervical cancer or pre-cancerous changes in the cervix, many of which are related to HPV. Also, a specific test is available to detect HPV DNA in women. The test may be used in women with mild Pap test abnormalities, or in women >30 years of age at the time of Pap testing. The results of HPV DNA testing can help health care providers decide if further tests or treatment are necessary.
There is no "cure" for HPV infection, although in most women the infection goes away on its own. Approximately 10 of the 30 identified genital HPV types can lead, in rare cases, to development of cervical cancer. Research has shown that for most women (90 percent), cervical HPV infection becomes undetectable within two years.
The surest way to eliminate risk for genital HPV infection is to refrain from any genital contact with another individual. For those who choose to be sexually active, a long-term, mutually monogamous relationship with an uninfected partner is the strategy most likely to prevent future genital HPV infections. However, it is difficult to determine whether a partner who has been sexually active in the past is currently infected.
For those choosing to be sexually active and who are not in long-term mutually monogamous relationships, reducing the number of sexual partners and choosing a partner less likely to be infected may reduce the risk of genital HPV infection. Partners less likely to be infected include those who have had no or few prior sex partners.
HPV infection can occur in both male and female genital areas that are covered or protected by a latex condom, as well as in areas that are not covered. While the effect of condoms in preventing HPV infection is unknown, condom use has been associated with a lower rate of cervical cancer, an HPV-associated disease.

If it's still under warranty, you can call the company and tell them what happened, and in some instances you can send the camera back to the factory and they will fix/ give you a new one. If not, try Target or Walmart or Best Buy?

I've had iTunes and Limewire both for about two years now. My dad recently deleted iTunes, on accident. When I re-downloaded it, about 150 of the 700 songs I had on my computer showed up with a little (!) next to it, which means it didn't exist I guess. These were all songs I had downloaded on Limewire.
Is there any way to get these songs back, without going through and re-downloading each one of them? (link)

Go your library on Limewire and look about the middle of the screen on the left, where it says Explore.
Click Explore. A list of everything you've downloaded should appear. Right click on the song title and go to Open With.. and click on Itunes. It might take you a while, but that's a sure fire way to do it. That'll put it back in your library.

Me and my boyfriend live together. He has a desktop computer and I have a laptop. He has DSL or whatever, but I can use my wireless on my laptop and use the internet.
This is the second time now, that he's supposedly looked at my messages on my Myspace account. So my question is, is that even possible? Like, can he see what I'm doing on the internet, on MY computer?
I always log off my computer and it's password protected, and I know he doesn't know it.

Change your myspace password to something stronger and you should be fine. There's no way for him to look at your inbox on myspace from his computer, thankfully.

Riiight. This story has a lot to it. Bear with me if you can be bothered :)
So, this girl Julia was going out with a guy called Damien. Julia was cheating on him with his BROTHER for about 8 months.
Recently she found out that she was pregnant, BUT she doesn't know who's the baby is yet (she was having sex with both of them)
Now she's bout 2/4 months pregnant, she's gonna keep it. Her parents kicked her out of the house.
And this is where I come in.
She came to my door at about one AM. with her bag and said that she'd been kicked out.
She doesn't know how she's gonna manage from now- too late to get an abortion. She is considering giving the baby away- to be adopted..but I'm getting more and more involved. I had to explain to Damien that Julia had been cheating on him, with his brother. His brother knew that Julia was with Damien, but he didn't really care. Now Damien and me are getting close after spending so much time together discussing things, sorting them out.
Julia is very, very, VERY pissed off at me for talking to Damien a lot. But she said that she's worried if it's Damien's kid, he'll have to find out and he will hate that.
His brother, Tom wants to be the dad of the baby, BUT he doesn't know that Julia was sleeping with Damien. SO if it turns out to be Damien's, Tom will leave Julia.
Also, My parents hate the fact that Julia is living with us, and we have to f*cking support her financially...Well we don't but my parents are, and Julia doesn't even say a word of thanks, she just bloody complains how her room is too small, and she doesn't have enough money to buy the things she wants and so on.
Please tell me what to do, I've started to dislike Julia, I agree with my parents 100% and me and Damien kissed yesterday for the first time. I am falling for him and seriously, he's not a bad guy at all. He's very sweet but Julia didn't appreciate him enough.

Julia isn't you problem. If Damien and Julia aren't a thing anymore than you have full rights to be with Damien. Buut, to save yourself the trouble, I might would tell Julia what's going on. Encourage Julia to tell Tom what's going on, and convince her to give the baby up for adoption. No seventeen year old wants a baby to keep up with 24/7. She can't possibly afford it, and it would just make her impose even more upon other people. If she gave the baby to a nice couple or person that can afford and love the baby-- well, that'd be a better ending to the story for everyone.
If Julia doesn't want to see or know of the baby after she gives it up, there's always closed adoption;; or if she wants to be in it's life.. well, then there's open adoption.

I do not know what to do about my mom. Generally speaking, she can never be happy with me or anyone else; picking and picking at sore scars is what she does best (she's weak, what can I say).
To be more specific, we fight all the time, and it sounds outlandish, but it's almost never my fault. She fights with anyone and everyone. Simple as that.
Today she called FOUR times to yell at me about the same thing. FOUR times. I did not want to go to HER friend's house for lunch, I had other things to do. She yelled at me about it, and changed the topic to something that had nothing to do with it at all, only to YELL again (and feel good). She's off the wall, everyone knows it.
I tell myself to calm down and ignore her ,but it's so hard. What's the best way to avoid her, without getting worked up over her craziness and yelling? Anyone in a similar situation? Thank you (link)

Lol, I'm glad I read the additional info or it would've been totally hard to resist calling you a brat. You're 23. You're old enough to make decisions for yourself, especially if you don't live with your parents anymore.
My advice to you would be to hit the ignore button on your cell phone if you don't want to talk to her. Although it would be very considerate of you to go along with what she says because of the fact that she IS your mother, but you are entitled to your own life.
The best thing you can do [as hard as it is] is just count to ten and deal with it, and leave as soon as possible or avoid or ignore her. Some people on here will probably tell you that you should try talking to her about it, but chances are that you've either tried that road already or that would only make the condition worse.

ok so i really really want snowboarding... some were, to be honest i have no idea were i want to go so i'll just lay down some of the things that would make my holiday perfect :P
in order of around most wanted to not so much wanted but would nice to have

#4: cheapish (something a job at Asda can buy :P)

Alright, so you've never been skiing or snowboarding before? Let me go ahead and put here that skiing will be much easier to do. I would suggest renting your stuff one time for the whole week [or however long you plan to stay] because that will save you lots of time in the long run. I've been skiing in several different US states and in Canada, and I'd have to say that my experience in Canada was by far better than anywhere else.
My family and I stayed in a condo in/around Ontario and sled down one of the hills every night after we got done with skiing/snowboarding; I've snowmobiled and that was loads and loads of fun. When I stayed in New York it was kind of this quaint old town with lots of history and great shopping and we saw a movie at the local theatre.
Things to watch out for no matter where you go:
1. Take plenty of pain medicine. My brother's broken his tail bone twice on different ski trips, by falling down different places. (Once on a slope, once horsing around and fell on a stump in the snow.)
2. If you're going to a different country, make sure you look up the exchange rate so you'll have an idea of how much you're really spending on things.
3. Make sure your passport is good. If you don't have one, get one. You can get your picture taken just about anywhere, but after you send in your picture and application, it may take a while for it to come back. If you don't have a passport, call the airline you're using and ask if you can use your birth certificate.
4. Save, save, save your money until the day you leave on your vacation. There's nothing worse than going somewhere great and running out of cash for souveneirs.
5. Take lots and lots of pictures.
6. Use . No one on Advicenators can tell you where you want to go as well as you can.

What will make you famous, you mean? Originality and talent. And just plain luck. There isn't anything in particular you can to do your hair, face or clothes, because most celebrities are either really good at something like acting or a sport, or they just happened to be in the right place or the right time. Learning how to spell correctly would be a start, though. :]

I've always had a 6th sense for detecting peoples body lang. and things like that. I also get these feelings that I have to protect someone...
I'm a 15/m and I feel like I have to protect this guy. And I don't know why or how or when b/c he barely talks to me. His life is not the best and I think that's why I have to 'take care of him', kinda like a brother... but the guy won't talk to me and it's very hard for him to trust people b/c of family issues... idk what to do... normally I would just let it go right? ... WRONG!!!

First of all, please forgive me when I say that Andy is the cutest name ever. :]
I totally know what you mean, and I totally understand. I've had that happen before, myself. Even though you don't know the person, you somehow feel connected to them? (Well, atleast enough to care, yeah?)
Keep an eye out for him if you want to, I see nothing wrong with it. Don't let it completely overtake your life or anything, by any means, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting someone to get hurt.
Strike up a conversation with him, find a common interest with him, invite him to hang out with you or your friends. Sometimes just generally being nice to someone will brighten their day. And, as hard as I'm sure it is, try not to pry. If he wanted people to know, he'd tell them. If you two become friends, then maybe he'll want to tell you, and you can decide for yourself if you need to continue to watch out for him.
You feel protective of him because it seems like no one else is, I can understand that. It's almost like you feel like you should take him under your wing? Well, there's nothing wrong with doing that (or telling him that. Honesty's always nice.)

DONT wear 2 condoms. That would make it more UNsafe. Don't do anal. That HURTS. Just wear ONE condom and have regular sex if you're so inclined. It wouldn't hurt to be on birth control, either.
