Question Posted Wednesday January 23 2008, 3:42 pm
Me and my boyfriend live together. He has a desktop computer and I have a laptop. He has DSL or whatever, but I can use my wireless on my laptop and use the internet.
This is the second time now, that he's supposedly looked at my messages on my Myspace account. So my question is, is that even possible? Like, can he see what I'm doing on the internet, on MY computer?
I always log off my computer and it's password protected, and I know he doesn't know it.
It is entirely possible to intercept wireless signals, but it requires equipment thats somewhat specialized, expensive, and difficult to get ahold of if you don't have a legitimate reason to want to intercept wireless signals.

Change your myspace password to something stronger and you should be fine. There's no way for him to look at your inbox on myspace from his computer, thankfully.

I know it's common, but maybe your password is your pet's name, or your nickname, or something else that would be easy for your boyfriend to guess???? Next time you go to myspace, change your password to something stronger. Use letters and numbers. Also change the password to your computer. And don't write it down where he could find it.
