icey0990 answered Wednesday January 23 2008, 6:03 pm: i know how frustrating it is, trust me. im in the process of getting a job right now. what you should do is call the places back and follow up on your application. dont sit around and wait for them to call you. call back and be polite, just explain you are following up on your application. be more aggressive. i applied to be substitute teacher, heard nothing back for a week and decided to call. it turns out they lost my application! so if i didn't call, nothing would have happened. now i have all my paperwork and etc done and i am going to start soon. so the key is persistence. as for following your dreams, follow them all the way! get a job, be persistent, then save your money. you can do it! good luck hun! ;) [ icey0990's advice column | Ask icey0990 A Question ]
