Hey hunnie!! If I were you, I would be confused too! lol People have different ways to cope with things and for her it may be swearing and just getting everything out in that way. But there's always that feeling that she could have really meant what she said. I would give her a day to cool off and talk to her calmly the next day. Just be relaxed and plan out what you are going to say. You could maybe say something like "..Remember how you said I was white trash and cussing at me? I wanted to know if you actually meant those things? Or if you didn't and that was just your way of getting your anger out..?" If she starts yelling at you again, still remain calm because if you start getting upset too, it would only make things worse. If it was her way of dealing with things, I understand that because everyone has different ways. But if she meant those things you might want to take it seriously and find a way to fix it. I met this guy and he says he likes me alot but the other day my friend said he never talks about me. I know he's a guy...but shouldn't he say something about me?

Some guys don't say what feelings they have for someone else or what's on their mind as much as girls do. What I think is going on is...because he talks to your friend sometimes, he might think well it's her friend maybe I shouldn't say anything. I know that's weird but guys get shy about things like that. He might also think that if he does say anything about you to your friend she will tell you and he would get embarassed. I met a guy before who was very, very shy and he was afraid to talk about Kelly ( this girl that he was going out with). Even though they were going out he would never say anything about her. At first it was weird to me, and then I asked him why he never talked about her. He told me that he's shy and he wants to keep their feelings for themselves. Alot of girls have been mentioning, on this site, that they shave their pubic hair...and that it's necessary to. I'm confused. Will guys be turned off if you don't? I mean I understand you don't want anything showing in a bathing suit...but I believe I'd rather have hair than an infected red bumpy area. Is it wrong not to shave? What do you think?

Sweetheart, I say do what you want! If you don't want to shave it don't. And no, of course it's not wrong not to!! I shave mine though...but that's just me...and well guys tend to want it shaven too. But everyone has different thoughts about it and I'm sure that there's many other people who feel the way you do. There is absolutely nothing wrong for not wanting to shave down there! ive been really tired lately and the only reason i can come up w/ is because i dont go to sleep until about 3 or 4 every night. but the thing is i dont go to sleep until then because im never the least bit tired until then. and then i'll wake up at like noon and be exhausted until about 6 that evening and ill start waking up and then i cant go to sleep until like 4 and the whole cycle starts over. but i really need to be able to fall asleep earlier and wake up earlier. does anyone kno how i can do this?

I know what you're saying! I'm an insomniac so I can totally relate!! What you need to do is change your whole sleeping cycle. You seem to have the main concept of what your cycle is already so just put more effort into a new one. Pretty much change your hours around. Even if it kills you for one week try to go to sleep before 3 or 4...you need to be in a insouciant mood...just calm and not tense. I would make some green tea and listen to some soft and gentle music, and read like a chapter because it gets you focused on one main thing. It's a challenge, but if you keep doing this you'll be on a regular cycle. But yeah if you don't change your cycle soon than you'll end up being a insomnia like me who never gets to sleep at all. Haha. By now I'm so used to it...but it's really not good for you. Oh, and don't get addicted to caffeine because it will keep you up. Try substituting water instead! Take care and good luck!! evr since i was born my grandmother has always been with me. even more than my own mother........not lyk she a bad mom or nethin but......lemme explain.....wen i was born my mom was have some economic problems so she told my grandmother to take me to the Dominican Republic (country where all my relatives were born cept me)neways i came bak 2 us wen i was 4 n my grandmother has lived with us ever since......well until a few weeks ago when she passed away..........ne advice on how to deal wit it?

I am so so so so sorry to hear that! I know exactly what you mean, my grandfather was everything to me and he passed away too. Even though I was only 4 at that time that he did pass away those four years of my life were amazing. And growing up I realized that he's always here with me in my heart and he takes care of me as much as he can. It hurts so much losing someone so valuable to you that it weakens you in some ways. And in other ways it makes you stronger. Through out your life people die and usually the ones that mean so much to you hurt you the most. But this is how it was intended to be. Dealing with this is so hard, and chances are you'll never get over it. Or at least that's how it is with me because my grandfather meant everything to me and although I'm 18 years old now and grown up I'm still not over it. Hun, I would just cherish the memories you had with her. It all makes you a stronger person in the end. And think about it...would your grandmother want to see you live your life and be happy or would she want to see you sad? Most likely happy, so do her a favor and make her see that you are willing to try and be happy. Because she wants the best for you and to be happy. And I want you to be happy to!! Well...not just quite yet. But you should consider the possiblity that you could get addicted to cutting yourself even if you realize it's stupid. If in time you feel like you can't find away to control your anger and stress and that cutting is the only way they solve these problems, than yes, you should seek help. It's sad because most people don't understand that cutting is only a mental addiction, so that when you think that cutting yourself solves everything, it's all in your mind, because physically it doesnt. One of my best guy friends, Rob, is being really stupid and immature for lame reasons. Every time I start liking another guy and think of maybe dating him, Rob starts getting really distant and annoyed even if I don't do anything or talk about the other guy. If I so much as have a conversation with a guy that doesn't really hang out with our group much, he starts avoiding me and giving me the silent treatment. I'm 15 and a really independent girl so I normally don't put up with this crap typically but apart from his jealousy, he's extrememly fun to hang out with. But this is getting really old. But you always want to try and be nice about it. It's like you love someone but they don't love you back. All of us girls know what that's like! Drugs have a major affect on people, and it's notorious to have sexual affects too. It's perfectly fine that you don't get horny all the time. Some people don't. You still may be at a young age and you're uncertain about a few things or why you're not thinking as much about sexual things. Hunnie, I wouldn't do drugs to get you "in the mood". You just aren't as easily horny as some girls are, and that's fine. I don't think that this is weird at all, because people sometimes turn to drugs for sexual responses. But changing your love life and how you think about it doesn't really make it "yours", it just changes your behavior and actions about it that you never would have done in the first place without the drugs. Defnitely talk to Vicki, and make her understand where you're comming from. You don't want her to skip school or to steal, right? You need to be up front with her and tell her that things have just been getting way to out of hand. If she wants to live life that way and steal than she will get caught. I am 18 years of age. My family and I have dreamed of moving to another country for 12 years. We finally have the opportunity to do so and we have taken it. However, my sister now has a boyfriend and is threatening to stay behind. She wants to marry him as soon as possible. She is 16 years old. This boy is 19, has quit school, has been unemployed for most of the last 3 years as he is continually fired, and is known to lie frequently. How can i make her see that she is too young for this and that he is not worth giving up her family and her future for?

If she is truly in love with this boy, it is going to take A LOT to get her to understand it. She might say things such as : " But you don't know him as I do" or " He isn't like that, I'm in love with him". What I would do is talk to her and be gentle to her feelings. As an older sister you probably realize that if they do get married at this age and he is like what you've said their marriage may not last long and she will get hurt. Maybe tell her your experinces with guys before, it helps. If she starts yelling be calm. Understand that it's not your fault, this is her choice. And no one can make decisions for her. If she really feels this is the right one, don't try to hold her back. I know you are trying to protect her as much as you can but you can't do a lot about this. Just try to encourage her to do the right thing and support her. I wouldn't expect a sudden change from her, unless she really understands what you're saying. She is young and has her whole life ahead of her, there is so much she can do with it. If marriage is something she wants and she loves this boy with all of her heart it would be such a hard time trying to make her think otherwise. I hope she comes around. Maybe she is afraid of moving away from him, and so she is just saying she wants to get married to make you and your family stop from moving. I got pushed off this hill of woodchips n landed right on my back... I didn't notice at the time but i broke 2 of my ribs... Yes it hurt extremely bad but I wanted to be tough n finished school the rest of the day and actually attended basketball n played it. The physical trainer at my school made me lay on the gym floor and do streches to strech it out.She wouldn't listen to me because i told her i couldn't do that. She told me i had to do 100 times of the streches n now i suffer pain from that. Is there anyway to fix it? I went to the chiropractor. But that didn't work! HELP!!

Hey Sweetie! I am so sorry about your back! You shouldn't have tried to play basketball with two broken ribs though! You need to go to the doctor. Your doctor will tell you what you need tell you more about what's wrong, and give you some things that will help you recover faster. It's good you went to the chiropractor, but you should wait until you go to the doctor first and then ask him. Chiropractors are helpful, but I hurt my back before and I know what it's like.
