What hair straightener would you MOST recommend?
Not just a CHI because everyone has one; I mean a really good quality flat iron.
A Tourmaline? A Metropolis?
And if you do recommend a CHI, what make of it? The turbo? The original?

I recommend a hair straightener by Conair. The ceramic ones, not the plastic because the plastic do not work very well.

A little over three months ago I got a two-year subscription to Seventeen magazine; It also comes with a free makeup kit. The ticket said I would recieve the gift but it did not say how long it would take. How long should it be until it arrives? Its been almost four months now! Thankya. (link)

Unfortunaly, they take a huge amount of time to recieve your subscription/free gift(s). The amount usually varies from three to six months (max). If you do not recieve it by then, I would call customer service.

is it okay to use different kinds of brands for skin and makeup? im just wondering. do you think it will damage/irritate my skin? for example, i use covergirl, maybelline, revlon (etc) make-up and for my skin i also use different kinds like avon, neutrogena, clean&clear and etc. do u think it will damage my skin because theyre all from different brands? do you think i should just stick one one brand? It's completely fine to use different brands of makeup. This will not irritate or damage your skin. Although, using different brands for skincare will damage and irritate your skin. So I recommend using only one brand, and really only one product of that brand for skincare. Even if you use too many products within the same brand, that alone, can damage your skin. Unless it is a two-step, or three-step system.

Everyone experiences acne usually at least once in their life, and girls who really like you won't think it's a turn off. It will not even matter, if they really do like you. So don't worry, it really does not matter. Any girl who does think it is a turn off, and doesn't like you for that sole reason, isn't even worth it.

No, it does not really highlight your hair, and yes, it can and will damage your hair because of the ingredients in the whitestrips.

First off, don't worry, you do not need extensions for thicker hair. They key is a good shampoo, conditioner, and a styling product. I recommend Thermasilk Volume Enhancing Shampoo & Conditioner, and Volume Infusing Mousse.

I have a best friend and we live sort of far away. we used to go to the same school and i never had any attraction to him. i moved away this year, but still visit very offten. He was changed alot but in all the right places. we are very good friends and i am now physicaly attracted to him. He has a new girlfriend but he cheats on her all the time with me. i dont know what he would do if he knew that i really like him. I scared it would ruin our friendship and thats something i dont want to lose. what should i do? (link)

I think, first and foremost, that you should think about his girlfriend. She's being cheated on by you. I mean, you wouldn't like to be cheated on by your boyfriend's friend, would you?
I think the best thing that you can do, if he really is a good friend of your's. Talk to him and tell him how you feel. I would say, either date or just stay friends because cheating is not the answer.
I understand you are scared about losing everything you have together (I would be scared to lose a good friendship too), but if you don't tell him, you are just going to go on this way. So just try to tell him how you feel, and I'm sure everything will work out great for you.

Good Makeup Colors, for sora tan, brunette,blue eyes, and big lips: For your eyes, smokey eyes make them stand out very well. Blacks, browns, and greens will make them stand out more. Lips -- I would try using soft pinks, and light reds. Blush and Foundation -- Of course, always stick to your skin tone, for your foundation. Blush, I would say soft pinks enough to give you a nice glow, that will go great with your tan.
Beat Push Up Bra: The new Secret Embrace Push Up Bra by Victoria's Secret.
Best Shirts for Smaller Chested Girls: Wear shirts, that have frilly tops. They emphasize your chest and makes it appear bigger.

There are many products out there, I suggest Proactiv because it works so great. Neutrogena products are a less expensive, way to clear skin. But make sure to wait at least a day or two to try another product, because if not, your skin will get irritated.

I have some acne on my face and I need a really good foundation or concealer or any other product that will help hide the acne well and will always work. So, any suggestions?

It is difficult to say what will "always" work, because everyone's skin is different, but Neutrogena Oil-Free Makeup is great to use and for me it works.

hello, well i have very serve anxiety disorder to the point where i need anxiety medication aka depression medication....i wanted to know what are the side effects and is it ok to drink alchol on them...im pretty young 16 and im very little 5'2 100 pounds....if that makes a difference....im not sure what medication im getting but i heard the side effects are all pretty much the same

Hello, I have a lot of experience with this. Not myself, personally, but my mother has depression.
You need to go to a doctor, and let your doctor tell you what type of medicine you need. Don't worry, he/she will know and evalute your depression, and it will be fine.
But make sure never to drink alcohol, you cannot drink when you have depression because it makes the depression worse. By taking your medicine and drinking on top of it, it puts you in very much danger, you can even die from doing this. So please, do not do it.

As far as I know, you cannot get rid of the options at the top. Although, if you can you should be able to right click the buttons you would like to delete, and there should be a delete or remove once you do so.
You can remove anything from the bottom of your desktop, by going to "Control Panel" and clicking on "Add/Remove Programs" then find the things you would like to delete, and there is a remove button, once you click on the selected program.

My advice to you is to talk to him face-to-face, and tell him how you feel (in a calm, and respectful manor). Then, listen to what he says and how he feels. If he feels the same as you, then that's great. If he doesn't, there are much better guys than him and it's his loss.

I dont really know if you would know the answer to this but i thought i would give it a shot.
Okay so I have alwasy really wanted to be a model, the kind that would be in a macys magazine or something like that.
But I have a disability that affects my walking a lot. I can still walk and every thing but i have Cerebral Palsy so it looks very differnt. Also i would most likely i would have to lose about 50lbs, or more.
I just wanted to know any advice you have if you have any experince or knowalge of this type of stuff.

Hello, thank you so much! This is why I'm here giving advice, to help people. I hope that my advice is respected, and helpful.
Now to answer your question, I think the modeling you are reffering to is fashion modeling, such as editorial modeling. I believe that you can email Macy's and ask them, if they are looking for models, the same with a lot of other mag's like those. Keep in mind that some of them may have a FAQ, containing info on their models, etc.
You can also look for an agency, but always make sure it's legitimate. All agencies posted on www.models.com are legitimate. It's also a great way for you to post a portfolio, and legitimate agencies may contact you. Plus, you do not have to give your personal info, only unless you want to give an angency that information.
You can go to agencies websites (google them), and there should be all instuctions for sending in your picks to the angency. You don't have to worry about only sending photos to one agency, you can send them to as many as you would like, and explore you options.
I think probably the most important thing I can tell you about modeling is -- you never have to pay money for an agency to accept you. Once an angency accepts you, then they take a percentage of the money you make from the jobs you book, or they book you.You also do not have to take your clothes off, for an angency to accept you. These are both equally (and sadly) common things, that modeling scams use. Do not fall for them.
Always stay healthy, meaning do not fall into the pit of those ultra skinny girls who starve themselves, and other unhealthy things. Always the most important thing is to be healthy, proper excerise and try to eat healthy foods, but here's a secret (incase you don't already know) -- you can actually eat anything you want, just eat in small portions and you'll be fine.

Don't worry, someone will come along. It takes time, I'm sure someone already likes you. They just may be too shy or nervous, to let you know.

I think the first one is best, but that's only my opinion. You should choose whichever one you really like, because that's all that matters.

How quickly does make-up expire? I have this make-up set that I had for maybe a year or two now. I just recently found it in my closet. It has eyeshadow, blush, powder cake, and cover cream. How can i tell if these things are expired. If I put them on, will I get a skin reaction? Also it had mascara, lipstick and eyeliner (pencil & liquid). I threw away the mascara and liquid eyeliner because it was dryed up. What about the pencil eyeliner? Does that expire too? (link)
