i used to get minimal breakouts with my monthly visitor and i have sensitive skin- i started using sensitive face wash by oil of olay and i also use the oil of olay regenerist serum i haven't had a pimple in 6 months i love the regenerist serum. Be careful what you put on your skin because it could make things worse. i would suggest products such as Neutrogena- clinique- dove- or oil of olay.

Also in the meantime try Bare Minerals Make up for a great coverup and an all natural makeup.

I have your situation, I hate oily skin.
One thing you should deffinetly try is proactiv, it does work good.
But if you dont want to spend that much money, i suggest just using plain anitbacterial soap or a different scrub such as noxema .
If that doesnt work, then this will.
Try Clean &Clear oil blotting sheets.
Blot your face and it takes all the oil off, it will DEFFINETLY work
trust me :D

good luck!

LagunaBabe answered Monday November 20 2006, 5:56 pm:
There are many products out there, I suggest Proactiv because it works so great. Neutrogena products are a less expensive, way to clear skin. But make sure to wait at least a day or two to try another product, because if not, your skin will get irritated.

hey! i use proactiv and it has always worked pretty good for me but sometimes that stuff can get expensive so i know some of my friends use clean and clear <i think by nuetragina> and i've used it before and it works pretty good too. you can get that stuff at walmart and there's different kinds of it too for different things. i think they have one especially for oily skin so that might be the one for you to use. xoxo helpachick

I know you've gotten a lot of answers already, but I'm going to throw mine in anyways :]

I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash.
It comes in a pump bottle and is amber-colored. I swear by it, since it's the only one I ever used that worked for me, without burning my face off.
Plus it's inexpensive, dermatologist-recommended, and you can get it anywhere.

Soap is seriously the best thing to use, it gets rid of 99.9% of bacteria. Just make sure you use a good moisturizer afterwards, like Clean & Clear, they have ones for oily faces. [:

KisaKiss19 answered Monday November 20 2006, 3:29 pm:
dove facial clothes
or clinique (the oily skin formula)
you skin is probably way to dry after you wash it,so instead of getting all the grease out,it back fires and makes your skin even more greasy. Thats why even if you have oily skin, you use a light moisturizer on your face after cleaning it.Also,if you want get clean and clear oil absorbing sheets. i hope i helped ! :)

go to meetmark.com they have some amazing products there for you. It works wonders & miracles

I sell mark, & my friend love the face wash & it really helps & its a reasonable price to

If you dont want to wait, after your done washing your face getting a hot hot hot towel (as hot as you can stand) and put in on your face until it gets cold again. That should defintly help. How it works? i dont know but i know it helps

Im not too sure about a good product but i do know washing your face a lot will dry out your face causes you to produce more oil. Only wash ur face twice a day... in the morning and before bed. Try using powder to reduce shine.

BitsandPieces answered Monday November 20 2006, 12:07 pm:
First, make sure you are using the right type of cleanser for your type. Are you usually normal/dry/combination/oily skin? Using the wrong product could really mess you up. If your skin is not oily normally, you could be overdrying it with a cleaser that is too strong and send your skin in an oil producing frenzy. Wash your face every morning and every night before bed. Find a cleaser, toner, and moisturizer that is right for the condition your skin is usually in. Use them every day and night! Oily hair will make your forehead break out, as well as dirty hands touching your face. Drink lots of water and eat healthy food for healthy skin!
