(13//f) ok well i have had my period before and yesterday i got it and i was bleeding like a ton. usually when i first get it, i only bleed a little and it is dark brown. but yesterday it was blood and a lot of it! and i ran out of pads so i put a tampon in and when i went to the bathroom an hour later there wsas blood all over my pantilyner ( i always wear them when i wear a tompon) so i took the tampon out and i didnt even have to like pull! it was sooo full of blood! is this normal? i know that it could have been my heavy day but normally they arent that bloody! and now it is just as bloody as yesterday!...is this normal??
please help ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

periods are notorious for being weird like that so i wouldn't worry about it. if it stays like this for a couple more days, i would call the doctor just to make sure, but don't worry about it for now.

i have a cheap conair one for like $20 and it works perfectly well for me...but it doesn't make it stick straight or anything. it just makes it straight..if that makes sense. if you are willing to pay more, any beauty shop will have a nice one that will work to make it stick straight.

k well i had plans with this friend of mine today and i just phoned my mom to see if i could go to his house and she asked who was gonna be there and i said no one so she said no. so then we got in this big argument and she said she'd 'talk' to me when she got home cause she didn't want me to be the only girl there. but she doesn't understand that me and him are friends.. how do i make her let me have opposite gender friends? invite him over when your mom is home and she will realize that he is a good kid and friend. my mom only trusts my guy friends that she knows...and loves them. it will work.

Over the summer I've lost like 10 pounds. But my arms are like fat and it really bugs me. I lift weights once and a while (10lbs,my parents won't get anything more). What are some other excersices and stuff I can do to make them smaller? Thanks in advance. i'll rate (link)

i had to go to physical therapy for my shoulders and they gave me a stretchy thing that you can tie and knot at the end of and stick it in a door. i'm not sure what you would call it. but you can do exercises with that that really work. if you put it at the top of the door and pull it down diagonally towards your hip, or stand with your side facing the door and pull it straight out with your arm farthest from the door (with the material coming out from above the doorknob), or with the material above the doorknob, face away from the door and pull it out of front of you. you can try going to a physical therapist and asking if they would give you a piece..you can offer to pay for it but i'm sure they wouldn't mind. or you could just ask them where they coudl get some. i hope this helps..i thought it would eb a little different than what other people tell you. good luck!

This is so corny but i need help! I'm at a camp for my sport and there is this guy and all the girls think he is hot, and he is!! But he's so shy and doesn't talk a lot. But he talked to me during a drill and kept giving me advice (he's really really good) and then saying "that's really good" even when it wasn't and walking back from a drill we talked. he's a year younger than me. but we actually had a conversation and i havent seen him talk that much cept during the game to get passes and such. i'm not sure how to get is AIM s/n, phone # is a bit to foward for me... all the other girls are so much prettier how can i make him see me more?? how can i talk to him more without looking pathetic n how can i ask him for his s/n?! just ask him! it's not a big deal. just after a conversation be like "oh yeah. do you have a screen name?" make sure you have a way to write it down. he won't think anything weird of it. also, asking for a phone number is kinda forward, but if you two have cell phones and he has his out just ask if you can see it for a minute and add yourself to his phonebook. then say something like "now i'm in your phonebook!" when you give it back to him. don't worry about getting his after you have his screen name cause you can always ask for it on there or he just might add his number to yours. sorry that was a little off-topic cause all you wanted to know was the sn thing, but i thought that could also come in handy. haha. just relax and don't worry.

okay so its summer and im really not in shape anymore. well cheerleading starts august 15th, what do you guys think i can do to get myself back in shape before then becuase the first 2 weeks are all condtioning and those practices are from 9-11 and 12-230..which is a long time and i dont want to be hurting bad after the first day because im so out of shape. any suggestions??..thanks a bunch.. ill rate high! run. that's always good. if you can't run, walk, but farther. do crunches, leg-lifts, push-ups. stuff like that. if you have comcast, try doing all of those fitness videos they have or get some of your own and do some of those everyday. also, do whatever you think you will be doing at practice. i used to have to run a mile every practice so make sure you can do that. good luck!

if he hates you just from what other people say then he's not worth your time.
however, if this hate is all in your head..or if he is just afraid that what they say is true..hang out with him, be yourself, and prove that what they say is wrong. that you are a really cool person.

don't compare him to the guys in the movies. most guys are not all romantic and mushy like them. pay more attention to how she shows you that he likes you, not tells you. if you really must hear it, try telling him how strong your feelings for him are and see what he says back. you could even just talk to him about how you feel. this could move him towards saying more romantic things.

Ok i want my lip peirced reallll bad on either the right or the left . I dont know bout the middle... its possible. But any way... i want to know if its safe or if any thing could happen. Im looking for a dog, and i dont like small dogs. My mom however, if like pretty afraid of big dogs, a neat freak, and cant stand dominent dogs. I really wanted a Lab or a Pit bull, but my mom says that labs are way too active for her, and pitbulls of course were always out of the question. I also really like huskies. i was wondering, do you know if they are like hyperactive and likely to jump on you like labs? i have a large back yard, and a big house.

maybe you should adopt an older dog instead of getting a puppy. then you can get whatever kind of dog you want pretty much because most dogs calm down as they get older.

ok well my real dad died in 2003 (im 14/F)but my parents were already divorced and i was living with my moms boyfriend (mark) he was also divorced and had one child named jaquelyn whos turning 13 soon. well now iv been with mark for about 6 or 7 years but jaquelyn gets jealous when im around him and i know its her dad and she never gets time alone with him because she lives with her mom and me and my older sister are always around but its not fair, how come i cant have my dad? but now marks gonna be off work for a couple of days for two weeks and my mom told me that jaquelyn is going to want to hang out with him so what should i do? i want to hang out with him and what am i supposed to do.. sit in my room while they have fun? my older sister doesnt really care and she says i should just stay away but i cant.. i love mark and i want to hang out with him too. what should i do? well, the truth is, he really is her dad. you both deserve time with him, but you can't get mad at her for wanting time alone. this doesn't mean she gets him all the time. maybe you should go to a friend's house when she gets her time or they can plan an outing together. you get him all the time and she only gets him when she is around. she is probably feeling like she is becoming less of his daughter and you are taking her space in his heart. just give her time with him and try to understand.

I'm not a very good kisser at all. On my last date, I could tell my boyfriend didn't want to say anything. I think it's because I'm not experienced enough to really know what I'm doing. Hey. My boyfriend is telling me online that he wants to run away because he thinks his parents hate him, but I know they don't. Anyway, there's not much I can do, because we live an hour apart. I'm trying to help, but nothing's working. What can I say to him? Please help, I don't want him to hurt himself.

keep trying to talk him out of it and convince him that they love him and just want what is best for him. if he still insists or running away, try to get him to come stay at your house if its okay with your parents and make sure his parents are aware of it. then you can try to calm him down and talk some sense into him in person. if that's not possible, just make sure that he goes to a friend's house if he does run away. Make sure you tell his parents that he is safe at a friend's house and that you aren't sure which one. That way you will let them know that he is safe, but you don't give away his position. I hope I helped..but really keep trying to talk him out of running away. Maybe tell him that you won't be able to see him as much if he does that. I'm not sure. Anything!

Alright well I had a relationship with this kid for over a year.. we broke up about 3 1/2 months ago and hes dating and im sure im ready to date again.. well my best friend nick finially told me hes liked me since before me and my x went out..and hes liked me for that long. and i only see him as a best friend. his name is nick and i always use to talk to him about all my problems now i cant because he likes me and i dont like him and i dont want him to hate me if i got another boyfriend. theres also this kid andy i guess andys liked me for 3 weeks and hes a sweet kid hes so much fun too hang out with and yeah hes alright i kinda like him but not as much as this kid adam. adams everything hes perfect and i want to go out with him..i would but i like being single and having guys as friends..to hang out with. and i dont want to get hurt again and im sure he wont hurt me. but also theres this kid dylan ever since me and my x boyfrikend broke up all dylan has done was been there for me we hang out almost every day see so much of eachtoher its basically like 'were going out' but i def. dont like him i think atleast and he sed he'd prob. cry if i got a bf, and my BEST FRIEND becky is going out with keith dylnas best friend so all 4 of us always hang and we just started to go to dylans cottage nd it was soo much fun and if i get a boyfriend i wont be able to but its hard because i like adam so much and he likes me and i dont know if im loosing a good chance in my life with him..so i dont know what too do PLEASE HELP!!! i would go out with adam since you like him so much. just try to recognize that the other boys might get hurt and try to make it as painless as possible for them. don't talk about adam all the time around them to get them jealous (even if that's not what you are trying to do). good luck!

Okay, I shop at AE, Aero and what you so called "punk kids" would concider to be "preppy". Now answer me this, why is that they feel that your clothing style needs to match your taste in music? I shop at those stores and listen to hardxcore bands and I enjoy the music. But why do all you "punk kids" feel the need your taste in clothing also has to match your taste in music? well there's those things like if his feet are pointed towards you or if his pupils get bigger when he looks at you..but the best way is WITH talking to him. i'm not sure if you meant that you want to figure it out without talking to him at all, or without asking him straight out. you don't have to ask him straight out..but definitely talk to him! im assuming you like him too? you don't have to tell him! just let him know by acting like it! i never told my current boyfriend that i liked him and he never told me. we both just knew. its weird to explain...but just spend time with him like try to invite him to stuff with your friends and you'll figure it out just by being around him. i hope this helped.
