I'm 14/F n im goin out with what some people call a 'player' everyone is telling me that i should break up with him right away. but i cant! he makes me so happy and i really like how he makes me happy if im upset or anything. i feel i can really talk to him about anything and everything. my friend (who is a guy) is telling me now that my boyfriend has hit his past girlfriends! i dont know if thats true or not. everyone seems to be against my going out with him and i dont know what to do anymore. they're telling me that he is going to ruin my life and im making a huge mistake by staying with him! i dont know if i should break up with him or stay with him. but he makes me soo happy and thats why i dont want to break up with him! i just dont know what to do. if anyone has any advice please give it to me, id really really appreciate it. thank you..

Okay so i have this friend that we will call David. He's my best friend, but I think i like him and he might like me, im not sure. I can't get him outta my mind. I'm going crazy. you should definently tell him your feelings. if you dont, you'll regret it for the rest of your life because you will never know what could have been. just be honest and optimistic :) and seriously i am telling you from experience.. i told my best friend i liked him, and now we've been dating ( and totally in love) for over a year and a half. trust me its totally worth it.

well...my friend and i decided that we wanted to go to this really cool camp next summer. we would go away for 3 weeks and do a bunch of cool things there. the only problem is that it costs sooooo much money and im afraid to even ask to go because they might say no. and if i do decide to ask them...how do tell them its a lot of money? Ok, so heres the deal. I've been bestfriends with this girl since I was 11 now Im 18. At the age of 15 we stopped talking for a year because we went to different highschools. Well now, I can't stand to be around her because she lies a lot. And it will be about stupid things or even serious things that you wouldnt lie to your bestfriend about. For instance being a virgin or not, how many people you have had sex with, how much you drank...etc. to the stupidest stuff like how much you spend on a car, how many hours you work, how much your getting paid, hitting an animal in the road n making a story up about it. I tried to confront her 3-4 times before but she gets mad and makes a big deal about it and claims she will never lie to me and stuff. Now that I've had a boyfriend for about 7 months shes thinking I dont hang out with her anymore because of him when its not that at all. Granted I do hang out with him everyday but we will go to parties, watch movies, stuff like that. With her we would sit around or go for a drive n she would usually end up dropping me off at 11 cuz she didnt feel good, was tired, and stupid things like that. My curfew is 1. Everythign she says now I doubt and I'm starting to believe shes a pathological liar. What should I do because everytime I try to talk to her she just turns it all around on me. And when I dont wanna do something like go away with her because Im not allowed or go to the club she tries to guilt trip me sayin that shes second best to my boyfriend and that I never wanna do anything. I've talked to my other friends and they all agree with em n say that they dont liek her but use her for a ride. My betsfriend doesnt know that. What should I dooooo? i was in the EXACT same situation for 2 years. my then friend constantly lied about everything like your friend does. she even got me to lie to my mom once, which i never did before (or since) about something really dumb that i would have been able to do anyways. it all led up to her lying about me to some of my friends and my friends told me about it. i finally realized that she was not a friend to me because friends are honest. and by her pressuring you into hanging out with her instead of your boyfriend is kind of like she is ruling your life. trust me.. you dont need that crap.

wow.. your mom is weird. most mothers would be happy to have a daughter that is happy with her body image no matter what she looks like. you should never ever change yourself to make other people happy if you are already happy with yourself. the only reason to lose weight would be if you are unhealthy, but you said you have a lot of muscle, which means you are active and healthy. so i say tell your mom to shove it. :)

I've had this one friend "Helen" since 5th grade. I just met "Sarah" this year, and we became really good friends. For some reason , Helen is being such a mean you-know-what to Sarah. She's called her a h** and said she did something with another kid, which is SOOOOOOO not true. Helen doesn't even know Sarah, and she's talking about her. What am I supposed to do?? it sounds like helen is a little jealous of your friendship with sarah. i think you need to confront helen and ask her why she is really doing this. if helen can't be cool with your new friend or at least cool with you being her friend, helen doesn't deserve to have you as a friend still.

I am sure that this question has been asked before but I'd like some answers pertaining to my exact situation. I ussually hate online advice forums, but thougth I'd give it a try before I critisize it. Ok, so enough, here's my problem.

My best friend is a girl. She (and I) are 15 years old. I've known her for about two years now. We have been through so much together and help eachother out in so many ways that I see our friendship permanent unless I personally screw it up. When we first met, I immediatly liked her and wanted to date her. When I found out she felt the same way, I planned on asking her out. But some stupid girl found out that she liked me and proclaimed it to the school and also wrote a letter from me (which I didn't write) to her asking her out. Then this menace of a girl embarrased her in front of the entire cafeteria by starting a chant of "ask her out (then my name)". After that, we just became friends and never really brought it up again. It's been two years since then and we have both had at least one boyfriend or girlfriend. I am starting to really like her and it haints me that we never even gave it a shot. But I am not sure if she likes me more than a best friend or if she would agree to go out with me. She is the only person I trust and I can't give her up as a friend, which is why I haven't risked our friendship by asking her out. So, where do I go? What do I do? What do I tell her? What will she say? If she refuses to go out with me, will our friendship be awkward and ruined?

honestly, i have been in a year and a half long relationship with a guy who has been one of my best friends forever. the closer you are to someone, the easier you fall in love. so there you go... best friends can fall in love. now to answer the "how" part of the question. since you trust this girl, i think you should tell her that you have feelings for her and see how she responds to that statement. then if its positive, then ask her on a date to test the waters; i mean she doesnt have to be your girlfriend right then and there. if its not good news, then yeah, she knows you like her, but if you never told her then you'd never know if she likes you back. i really dont think that your friendship would be ruined if she didn;t like you back...you'd just have to move on and show her that you have feelings for other people too. good luck :)

Okay here it goes....Both of my best friends are fighting!! They continually tell me how much they hate each other!! She'll say something about him, and he'll say something about her!!! first off, why are they fighting? is it just a silly arguement or something big. did they used to be best friends too, or are they just mutual friends of yours? i think i would tell both of them that you can't be associated with such malicious people and aren't going to be talking to them until they are civil. seriously, just stay away from both of them.. they'll realize that their dumb fight has caused both of them to lose a friend (temporarily)and will probably try to mend things for your sake.

you have a right to be mad at what your dad is saying. maybe you should tell him how upset it gets you, and how pissed your bf would be if he knew your dad was making fun of him. its incredibly childish to make fun of people who look different than you, and if your dad is too immature to see that, i say give him the cold shoulder and refuse to speak to him until he is on your level of maturity. peace out
