Q: My Daughter is 11 and she tells me shes old anough to babysit but i dont know if she should. I started babysitting when i was 11 but i want to make sure its a good age. Please help!

Honestly, 11 years old is still a child to me. In fact I babysit an 11 year old. I think it is way to young to start babysitting (it was probably different when you were younger) I wouldn't want to leave my children with someone who is still a child themself. I think around age 13 or 14 is a good age to start baby sitting.

Q: Now, how do I select music?
I seem to have trouble doing that.
Is there anything specific you have to do to select music?

well you have to have the music already downloaded to windows media player (in a playlist)

while you have windows media player open go to snyc then go to edit play list and then the drop down menu that says view library by:.... chose my playlists

then under the drop down menu a bunch of playlists and songs will pop up, just select the songs you want and click okay then you are ready to sync

Q: I got it a couple of months back. I have all the equipment to put music onto my phone, but it's not working. Could someone please explain to me what to do to sync music onto the phone?

okay well first before you connect any of the cables you must install the CD-ROM that the pack came with.

after you do that connect the cable and open windows media player and at the top of the windows media player there should be tabs. Click the second to last tab (the one that says sync)

then on your phone go to menu -> music -> Sync Music.

go back to windows media player and on your keyboard hit the key F5 it should refresh it letting it know that you are now ready to sync.

after that you select your music and all that good stuff and then select the button near the top that says start sync

Q: So, me and this guy from work started dating.
And hes super amazing. But, some times i dont think hes serious about any thing. hes very funny, and always makes me laugh. but when i try to be serious with him, he trys to make things a joke, and uses a lot of sarcasm, so i cant ever beleive or take him serious. Some I live about 30 minuets away from where i am socially (like i go to school, work, and ocasionally stay at my moms, but i actually LIVE 30 minuets away). Wow! almost everything about what you said is happening to me. exactly except i live 15 minutes away and i dont work with him but he does make an effort to see me. I was just on the phone with him and he got pretty serious because i yelled at him like reallly yelled and he was like wow i never heard you yell at me like that.

I don't really think there is a point of a lime. I think it is to just add some flavoring. I don't drink or anything so I'm not 100% sure. And ususally you use the lime after the shot. There is also something called a chaser. This is ususally some type of juice to "chase" the alcohol to make sure you don't throw up after the shot.

Q: I'm not planning on having sex the first time for a couple years or so atleast but I'm afraid I will end up regretting it later on. I'm just curious about the average age girls lose their virginity.

So basically I have three questions..

1. What age did you lose your virginity?

2. Do you regret it or are you happy with your choice?

3. What age do you suggest? (Please don't say when you're ready because obviously I'm going to wait until I'm ready but I'm talking like what's too young, etc.)

1. I just lost my virginity this passed weeked age 16 almost 17.

2. Right now I am happy with my choice although I do feel I kind of rushed into sex. But as of right now I have no regrets.

3. The statistical average age of girls losing their virginity are ages 14-15, for me I think that is a bit young. I just suggest around 17 or 18.

Q: What is a hair diffusor for??

it is something you put on a hair dryer to give your hair the curly wavy look.
ususally when you dry hair with out the diffusor it straightens it out a bit.

Q: Not sure where this goes... well I don't neccessarily have night mares per say, I just think about stuff that could happen to me during the night. I think about getting murdered and I actually imagine it to happen as I try to sleep. As creepy as this sounds, it freaks me out when I am lying in my bed. Nothing bad has happened in my town so I shouldn't have anything to worry about but theres always that possibility that something would happen. If you could give me some good tips or pointers on what to do when I think about dying and how I am going to die and what not, they would be greatly appreciated. Sometimes I don't get much sleep because I'm lying awake thinking about this stuff. Help me please... I don't know what else to do.

sometimes this happends to me.
i just tell myself if i keep my eyes closed nothing bad will happen.
"if i don't see it it's not there"
so i close my eyes and go under the covers and try to relax and breath it helps calm you down and fall asleep.

Q: Okay so a few days ago my boyfriend and I were lsaying on a couch watching a movie and while we were facing eachother i whispered i love you. (this was the first time either of us has said it in person) and he just kinna smiled and kissed me. now i'm not 100% sure he heard me but it seems like he did.
should i see this as a bad thing? i expected him to say i love you too. please tell me what you think. thanks.

i am pretty sure it isn't a bad thing.
sometimes my boyfriend say i love you and i dont say it back because i feel weird if i say i love you "too" because sometimes i just wanna be the first one to say it.

Q: What is the legal age you can move out of your parents house? Some people have told me 18 and some have told me 17. I'm in South Carolina if that makes a difference. Also, how would you tell your mom you were moving out without hurting her feelings?

i'm not quite sure what age you have to be but to tell your mom you want to move out with out hurting your feelings you can just say

"i think it is time that i start becoming a little more independant and try to make a living for myself."

Q: ok well im not sexually active and never was, now i heard that u can get acne on ur vagina and i was wondering if what i have is acne, there is only one, and its kind of a bump that itches a little and kinda burns and is painful to the minimum nothing im exactly worried about because its nothing like seriously itchy or painful, im just wondering how i can get rid of it and what it is...please help?

it could possibly be a yeast infection (you do not have to be sexually active to get them it could becaused by not being so clean) or it might possibly be a allergic reaction to something.

if it is a yeast infection you can go to a drug store and get a ointment to help relieve and get rid of it.

well, i was just wondering, how do you know when youre gonna get your period so you can put on black underwear like the day before? my doctor told me you can find out if you press the center of your nipple. if it's sensitive, you are either getting your period or you have it. so i've been doing that, but sometimes i'm like a day off and then i have throw my underwear out again!

so my question is... how can i wear cute underwear without risking that it's gonna get stained? ANY advice i'll take! and i'm not a mean rater either so if you don't really know i'll give you a five anyway

ususally your period comes about 28 days after your last one. so mark it on the calendar.
also once you know you are getting close try putting a panty liner in so that way it prevents stains from getting on your good underwear. you can also talk to a gynocologist about going on birth control to help you get regulated.

i dont think it's very likely you are in love just yet. my deffinition of love is being in a relationship where you can see yourself with that person for a loooonnngggg time. right now what you are feeling is probably lust. but if all goes well it just might turn into love.

Q: My parents and I moved here from Russia. It was hard for us at first. My dad worked and my mom was in school, training to be a nurse for 7 YEARS(she couldn't speak english).

Now she has a job. She's a nurse and gets paid WELL. We're living pretty good. But I barely see my parents, and that is a problem.

Ever since my mom began working, she became OBSESSED with it. She's cancelled so many plans with me and broke so many promises because she would much rather work.

I'm only 14 years old/female, and I never really had a great relationship with my parents. They've always been TOO BUSY. I missed out on so much as a kid. and I am turning 15 next month. and I feel as though my mom would rather make extra money than spend AT LEAST one day with me.

I am bulimic and I have bad mood swings and I am so so so sad, and I am losing many of my friends. I want to be able to at least talk to my mom of all people. It's just so hard. :[
what should I do or say?
I need somebody, especially a mom.

Oh jeeze thats rough, I'm russian too and also swedish and we moved from sweden and my mom had to find a job too and she was really busy with it. I talked to her about how i felt neglected and noone was there for me and she told me she was working to get money so she could support me and make sure she could afford everything i needed. Could that be the case with your mom? Bulemia is very dangerous and i think that you should talk to an adult you trust as soon as you can.. the only way this can be fixed is if you let your mom know how you feel.

Q: my boyfriend of a year has just recently taken up karate. he has a real job until 2 and his classes are from 7-8:30 sometimes 9. it takes up so much time that we barely see each other anymore. i think the karate is pointless because he is 19 years old and he's only doing it because he envy's his best friend who has a black belt. my boyfriend has been doing it for 2 months now and he's not even a white belt. how can i tell him enough is enough and quit without him getting angry?

You can't really control what he does but you could suggest Taekwondoe its only a few times a week and it advances much faster than karate you can ususally have your black belt with in a year

I do this all the time... you have to get the blood flowing to them.. to do this (for the top lip) cover the top with your bottom lip so the top lip curves under the top teeth and suck really hard for a minute or as long as you want to. Do the same with the bottom lip cover the bottom lip with your top so it comes between your teeth and suck. Then do it with both at the same time and just put a lip gloss on. Any shiny lipgloss ususally makes any lips apper bigger

Q: All day my sister has been stratching me pinching me hitting me and kicking me. Everytime we have the littlest arguement which is litally every 2 seconds, she has to hurt me in some way. She even bites me! I have marks all over my skin from everytime shes ever hurt me. My arms and legs are covered in stratches blood marks and brusies from her. I know all sisters fight with eachother but sometimes I feel like it gets outta hand. Today, she got mad at me and stratched me and she wouldn't stop I kept yelling get away from me and stuff and she wouldn't stop so I pinched her so she would get the fuck away from me. One little pinch sends her into tears and she runs to my mom and of course no matter how much my sister hurts me, if my sister is in one little pain of discomfort and blames it on me my mom will always take my sisters side. I showed my mom all of the marks, and she goes good I'm glad she does that to you, if you got hit by a bus right in front of me it would be hard for me to PRETEND like I actually care. I never care what people say to me but when it's my actual mom I break down crying because I hate knowing people don't care about me. My sister pinned me down on the floor and handcuffed my hands with my dads old handcuffs (he used to be a police 20 years ago) and she started kicking me so hard and pinching me I couldn't move I felt like I was going to burst and just die. My mom was 2 feet away watching all of this happen and kept saying hit her harder, hit her harder. My mom doesn't care what happens to me. So I was still pinned down in hand cuffs so I tried to kick her with my leg to get her away from me but I was closing my eyes and by mistake I LIGHTLY kicked her "bad arm" to make her stop torturing me and she starts balling her eyes out. Of course my mom yells on the top of her lungs "GODS GOING TO GET YOU DONT YOU DARE TOUCH MY BABY YOU USELESS PEICE OF SHIT GO SLIT YOUR WRISTS." I said "mom did you see what she was doing to me she had me pinned down in hand cuffs what did you expect me to do just sit there." And she goes "I don't care what she does to you I hope you die." and she walked away. I ran up to my room crying. And then about 20 minutes ago my sister got mad because we were playing a ps2 game and she lost so she pulled my long hair so hard a huge chunk of it came out and I didn't cry but I tried to hit her but she ran away so fast so I popped her balloon that she got 3 days ago from a restaurant. My sister told my mom (but of course left out the part about her pulling me hair) and my mom started yelling at me and threw me on couch and just started beating me she hit my head so hard about 9 times it still hurts and she tried to choke me with the balloon and tried to stuff it down my throat. I managed to get away and I ran up to my room. I'm 13 and my sister is 10 so of course she never gets in trouble. My sister gets so much clothes and toys and cds and anything she wants she automatically gets no matter how stupid it is. My parents don't buy me any clothes I have to wear the same clothes from 2 years ago that don't even fit me any more. They don't buy me any nice things and when we go out to eat they don't even let me buy a drink and make me order off the kids menu when I'm 13 and I'm skinny but I eat A LOT and I finish the kids meal in 5 minutes and I'm starving while my sister 3 years YOUNGER then me is munching on a huge steak with 3 sides. I hate it!!!! My sister never gets hit and I always do. My mom throws me against walls and she even does it infront of my friends!!!! I can't stand this my sister always hurts me and I always get in trouble. I tried the police, but my mom lies so much so of course they believe my mom. My friends help me out so much and make me feel so much better but if they arn't at my house they can't see whats happening to me and its up to me not to get myself killed because no one else cares.

What do I do? I'm sick of living like this. My mom and dad won't even let me have a talk to them about it.

omg that story made me cry! what i would do is join some after school activities like drama club or sports... if you are close enough to walk home then that is good but if you aren't there should be provided transportation like late buses that way your parents dont have to come get you i also suggest going to a school counciler tell them everything you told us.... next time you get beat take pics of the injuries and go to a police station to show them the effects... also if i were you i would cry in front of them to let them know you are really serious about that.

ask him if he wants to practice with you one day and when you are ''practicing'' ask him what kind of stuff he is into like movies... if you like the same movies be like oohh me should go see this one together
